With few exceptions, the treatment is not very cordial, bordering on rudeness and neglect.
A pity that such a wonderful country is thus represented in Uruguay.
It is not by chance that the average of the reviews are bad or very bad .....

The truth is that the attention of many of our own and outsourced officials has become very decadent. Today I had to go to pick up my passport and the security one (external company of the embassy, that is, third party service) already spoke to me arrogant. I find a sign advising that you have to make an appointment to collect your passport. Before going, I had to go to the website and check if my passport was there by putting the information they gave me on the day I processed the renewal, there it only said that I was ready to go and look for it, I never had a notice that said it had to be scheduled. That's the first bad moment they put me through. The treatment received at the door was horrible. Luckily I called and they booked me at the time and I was able to enter. The other problem I had is that I arrived and handed over my papers and they told me "my partner has already given you the passport", so great. I kept my distance and prepared to wait. After me a boy came to look for his passport and in a few minutes they handed him his passport and he left, I stood there waiting. Two minutes later a lady arrives and the same thing. Then a man and again the same thing, I already began to feel transparent, nobody said anything to me and I was totally ignored. After more than 40 minutes of waiting, they finally gave me my passport. It goes away that my face was a poem since they called an embassy police to talk to me (or she had a face that she was going to murder someone or they finally realized that she was upset). The police wanted in their best way that I was not bothered and I did not succeed because they made me feel totally ignored, nobody told me anything, because if at least they tell me that they are going to delay I can understand it, but when nobody tells you says nothing is what but. The truth is that I understand that we are in a pandemic and we all have to take care of ourselves but it is seen that the passport officials (except one of the girls, the brunette) forgot manners, that it is to be polite and they never had any idea of what is customer service. Because at that time I am a client of my embassy and the truth is that the manner and treatment leaves much to be desired. It was not like this in the past. I do not know what happened, I think the bocho they caught was not the Covid, without which they got their education and good manners

I do not give zero because there is no option, they have little desire to inform and much less to work and they lack any sign of empathy in short, if they remove the consulate, the Spanish could allocate the money to More
