Elmhurst public library Review

Fine free! I was in the neighborhood and thought I d see what they had as far as books and they have excellent selection of fiction.

Went to chaperone kids for a school project. Kids walked there from a nearby school and I met them there. Kids did not have their library card with them so they could get a room to work in. Library couldn't get a hold of THEIR parents, while I was standing there taking responsibility for them, and 2 different employees would not allow us to use the room. Room went unused. Terrible, terrible way to treat children who actually cared to finish their project. I drove the kids to the Addison library, none of us are residents of Addison, but they let us use their room since it was not occupied. The Elmhurst staff that spoke to us were shockingly uncaring about children's needs. Terrible on Elmhurst library.

Elmhurst library has something for everyone, ever age!!!! Rentals of everything fryers. VHS converters, knitting needles, puzzles, games....the list goes on and on. Clean drive up window EVERYTHING LOVE LOVE LOVE IT

Awesome library. Great facility, helpful staff, and a solid selection for a suburban library. My wife and I are here almost every week.

I was called the N word for my skin color. I was kicked out for the way I was dressed while I was trying to find a back for my kid. Never come here. This place is horrible, will not be returning

Didn t have a chance to look at the adult section but the kids section was amazing! The kids had a blast. There s legos and toys in addition to a large variety of books. Couches for the parents to relax while the kids play/read. Clean bathroom. There s also small study rooms which would be great for small groups of students or homeschool co-ops. Loved it.

Great community library! It's truly amazing. The video game selection could use some work though. But still its probably the best library in the state of Illinois!

The library is dull, and bare. They should look to Arlington Heights, IL library or Downers Grove, heck even Wheaton library is more lively than this place.

Where are all the exhibits/activities for kids?

Where's the $$$$$
