Recently re-visited Elmbrook Church and was very disappointed with my experience. The child care was confusing and no one was able to accurately help so I didn t even drop my child off as I felt uneasy. Preaching was good but overall not the friendliness or most welcoming environment.

Have no opinion, just looking for directions for a funeral! This popped up asking why I hated this place - can't seem to get out of this review area without it looking like I hate the place. Very weird. Don't hate the place. Never been there. Please fix this buggy website. And take my name off - I have never signed into with my name. "Publicly posting as Donna Opgenorth" without my permission is ridiculous. Very invasive. If I do nothing, my review is left as I hate the place. Why is this happening?

Went to a service where they sent one person up to guilt us into giving them money. Then they brought another person up to ask for money. Then they passed 3 bins per lane down to make sure you had three chances to give them money. Then during the service they bashed other religions for what seemed to me a lack of understanding. Is there any real places of God left?

The atmosphere & music in the church is good. Definitely gives a feeling of divinity when you're in here. Most often it's the vibes and energy in the place that make it holy. I can totally lose myself here.

Great church...HORRIBLE web site. It should be way easier to find mass times, especially around the holidays. Mobile access?????? A great church like this (especially how big it is) should have a 21st century web site.

Lee Hayward gave an excellent sermon. He shines a light on the Bible (In this case Hebrews) which makes God's plan clearer. The facility is large an well run. The people spend time talking with eachother. I always feel wlcome and find my Spiritual tank more full after service.

This church used to have vision when Steward Brisco was there. Since he left....its been headless. I look forward to seeing the new Senior Pastor when he comes,,,as of June 2010 no Senior Pastor insight, and they asked Mel to stop being the Senior Pastor.

Cancelled Upward Youth Basketball League for next year with lame restructuring/prioritizing email, only reason for me (and a lot of others) go to the mega church in the first place. Look for a lot more retreats and money makers in the future vs bringing in a bunch of young families who may otherwise not step foot in the venue.

Omg this is my church now... we are such a family here!!! If you are in high school as am I please look into joining our high school ministry!!! It might sound boring but it is the best thing ever and definitely always a pick me up in your week (also you can vent about your life problems which I think is a God sent)

My husband and I have been attending Elmbrook Church for 28+ years. We have seen our share of changes, both in the physical building itself and also the leadership. But one thing that will NEVER change is the True Foundation on which it is built, which is Jesus Christ, the true Cornerstone of the church. I truly feel that each of the pastors who has had the role of Senior Pastor has been extremely faithful in keeping the church's focus on Jesus and the Word of God, in inspiring and challenging ways. I am so blessed to call Elmbrook my church home!

I attended the Inspire Women's event and it was amazing! The church is a beautiful facility and well designed for a huge range of ministries. The Inspire event was very well planned and every detail was in place to keep everything running smoothly for thousands of women. The speakers were not only inspiring women of God but knowledgeable and lively presenters. If their regular ministries are like the conference, this church is a great place for a person to come to know the Living God of the Bible.

Typical want to be mega church. Staff greeting were friendly but overall my experience last Sunday was confusing and a lot of staff didn t know where they were directing me. The child care person could not be found and the difficulty signing up for one service was unbelievable. He volunteers in preschool didn t even check my child s sticker. The preaching was okay; but not worth the hassle of trying to navigate the church. I was wary after all the bad publicity but wanted to give it a try. I think they still have some work to do. I would also be wary of giving to this church as I have heard from several sources a lot goes into the staffs comfort versus helping of others. A friend and worker at the church often describes lunches, treats, coffee, luxuries I can t even afford. Disappointing visit- would recommend White Stone Church in Ocononomowoc if looking for a solid church in the area.
