Helpful and friendly! Crew is courteous, they have almost everything you need from a hardware store and I like that they're a Stihl dealer.

I love Elias Ace Hardware because there is ALWAYS ready and friendly help as soon as you walk in the door.

Very quick to offer assistance when I walked in, helped me get what I needed. Surprised to find they carry some excellent bbq ribs and sauces, many award-winning options from Kansas City.

It'd be nice to walk in to buy something and be allowed to find it yourself. The staff at Ace always act like they think you're up to no good.

If you want to pay entirely too much for something, as in get gouged, go here. A 3.97 1/4" valve is 8.99 here, but we had to have it so they get my money today. I would prefer to shop small, and have no problem with fair markup, but this ice maker line valve price is a joke.

Don t but anything you may have to return. They will just tell you too bad call the manufacture. Better off going to Lowe s than this poorly ran outfit.

Forget about the big box stores, they do not hold a candle to the bright light Elias Ace Hardware will cast on your project. I have been shopping at and Elias hardware store my entire life. They got their start in my home town of Cairo, Illinois where I grew up originally as the Elias True Value Family Center, where tons of wonderful childhood memories were made. The tradition continues today in Cape at Elias Ace Hardware, friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and overall just pleasant people work here and they always take the time to hear you out and then go the extra mile every time as if your project was their own. No better option exists! I personally love this place!

Great selection honestly, and it's a small store.
I'm sure they got their money makers, but usually there's more than one choice for a need that needs filled.

An old-style neighborhood hardware store where you can find the stuff you need to keep and old house running.

Always so helpful and friendly. Prices a bit higher, but old fashioned, small town hardware store feeling is priceless

I called the store to see if my car key could be made there. The lady on the phone listened to my information, including what I needed (I just needed something to open the door, I didn't need the push locks and such). She told me that they could make the key there, as long as they had the blank in stock. I drove to Cape for that purpose. When I went back to the key part, I explained that I needed a door key only, without the buttons and the man told me they did not do that. As I tried to explain about the phone call he just continued to talk over me. They need better training among their staff. Because either the woman didn't know what she was talking about or the man just didn't want to take the time to look and listen to me. Either way, I will NOT be back.

Rented a Rug Doctor. Clean equipment & had all the products needed for my project.

This was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had . From the moment I walked into the store everyone was very friendly and professional. I was looking to replace my blower and weed eater and the selection was great. After the clerk showed me options, I went with Stihl brand and couldn't be happier. With the quality of the products along with the great price and fantastic customer service, this truly is a great place to shop.

Ace truly is the helpful place! The workers will spend 10+ minutes finding a specific screw/bolt for your repair project even though it only costs <$1. They have advice about everything. They can mix paint colors from multiple different brands of paint- basically almost anything I find on Pinterest. Both of their name brand paint collections are high quality-- and almost always only need ONE coat with no splatter and no drips. I stop in there quite frequently. Love it.

Fred has a great old-fashion hardware sales & service with with a modern flair. Great for plumbing, electrical supplies for the homeowner. Has virtually every filter size for your heating/air conditioning system! You won't have to wait to checkout! Prices reasonable.

Bad customer service, and very rude! Called ahead to make sure they could cut a key for me, only to drive 45 min. To be told they would not. Do not waste your time, and definitely do not bother calling ahead. They will lie just to get you into the store! I would give 0 stars if I could for just the customers service alone!

The staff is so friendly and they are always helpful. I prefer going there so much more than going to one of the "big box" places. It's a great place.

The staff here is always ready to help you with whatever you need. I ve gone here a few times for all different stuff. Pest control, lawn care, weed eater, BBQ accessories, seasonings, wood pellets and more, and I ve always found what I needed for great prices.
