Jeff Ruby's steakhouses are the benchmark for fine dining steak houses. The Steak Collinsworth is my personal favorite. From the impeccable service to the salads and appetizers and then to the piece de la resistance (the finest steaks you can find), all very upscale and a destination in and of itself.

Hands down one of the best BBQ restaurants in Cincinnati. Simple, fast casual dining, they have a small indoor dining area of the restaurant and a large covered outdoor space that is heated during the winter and open air during the summer.

Hard to go wrong with ordering anything off their menu but I typically steer towards the pulled pork, cole slaw, and baked beans.

I'm from Texas and we take our BBQ very, VERY seriously. I had my doubts going into this place but they melted away with my first bite. Whole the pulled pork was good, the ribs were amazing! I highly recommend giving them a taste without any sauce.

Initially tasty but very salty rib tips, monotonous after several mouthfuls. Cheese Jalepeno Grits were cold, Cole slaw was typical. Order inside, served outside under covered roof. Basically self serve, BYOB. Overated.

The food is fantastic. The menu is pretty brief (pulled pork, ribs, etc.), but what they do, they do extremely well. Prices are reasonable (about $8-$12 for a meal). The only downside is seating is limited and can be a challenge on busy weekend evenings. Arrive early or consider takeout over peak times to avoid that issue.

BYOB. Don't bring your vegetarian/vegan friends. This place focuses on good KC style BBQ meat, and they do it as good as anyone else. Sitting on the picnic tables and sharing a case of beer with your good friends while munching on perfectly smoked pulled pork and ribs (I hear the turkey is really good, haven't tried the brisket).

Tried the pulled pork and coleslaw. Went great with a Dr. Pepper. BBQ sauce was good, slightly sweat with some tanginess. Food was served fast and hot, made for a good quick lunch. I will be back for more.

I can't rave enough about Eli's. Their bbq sandwich is fantastic and never even needs sauce. The meat has so much flavor on it's own. Their baked beans are delicious as any that I've ever had. Coleslaw wonderful. I could go for some Eli's multiple times a week if I could. I can't think of any other bbq that i've had that I can honestly say is better.

Probably the best BBQ you'll find in the Tristate area if not the whole country. All the sides are amazing and it's byob (or drinks in general). The seating is all picnic style so it's comfortable, gives a great community feel, and is dog friendly.

Holy smokes, this place is amazing! Hands down the best BBQ I've had in quite some time. I had the rib tips, wife had a regular order of ribs. Both were delicious. The mac and cheese was also spectacular - gooey melty and rich - it complemented the meat well.

Delicious bbq that's on the next level. Sides are amazing. The only negatives are the wait time for a table (the venue is quite small) and the wait time on food (but both are worth sitting through)

Just stellar, always. And now that they sell their sauce; yes. Just yes. When I talk about BBQ in Cincinnati and people bring up montgomery inn, I mean it's laughable. I tell them in Eli's inaugural year it was one of travel and leisure's top 10 new BBQ spots in the country. Just be forewarned of two things, BYOB, and he doesn't do brisket. But do yourself a favor, and get the beans "dirty"

A group of us was traveling to Kentucky and stopped at Eli s for dinner. It is absolutely the best BBQ I have ever had. The pulled pork was so tender and my wife would not stop talking about the smoked Turkey. Our friend said he loved the ribs and how they fell off the bone. The Cole slaw and beans were also very very delicious. Definitely worth the stop if you are in need of some damn good food!!

Best BBQ north of the Mason-Dixon. Can compete with true southern BBQ. Pulled pork is the way to go. The jalapeno grits are wonderful. The atmosphere is awesome. It is by far my favorite food in Cincinnati and probably anywhere.

Always my favorite go-to barbecue place. The pulled pork sandwiches are amazing and the limited time smoked wings were hard to put down. The sides are all kind of mediocre to me though, so I opt for a second sandwich over any of those.

Rib tip Mondays are the best! I also really love their Turkey sandwich, it's amazing. It's just the best BBQ in Town. Try their Mac and Cheese and Jalapeno corn bread, they are to die for!

Maybe it was an off day? The pulled pork was dry, though the meat was otherwise good. The wait time seems artificial, however, since the pork would've been cooked hours in advance and there weren't many orders ahead of ours. Why did it take 40 minutes to chop the pork and dress the bun? Am I supposed to think long wait time = higher quality/demand, or am I supposed to purchase more beverages while waiting outside? With a little improvement, this establishment could go farther.

I ordered pulled pork sandwich with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes as sides as well as 2 rib bones. The outside seating wasn't bad, picnic tables end to end. I wasn't impressed with my order except for the 2 rib bones, they were delicious! The pulled pork sandwich was ok, mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a can and the mashed potatoes cold and almost tasteless. My wife said the baked beans were delicious so the 3 stars is mainly for the ribs, nice and juicy with a good crusty top.

This place is a dive. In a good way! Walking inside feels like walking back into the 50's. The building is so old you feel like the floor might collapse at any moment. Yet it's worth it completely. Simply the best BBQ and sides in the city!! Still reasonable also. Maybe due to the ambiance. Haha
