The food is without a doubt exquisitely delicious and the price and value is excellent

Some of the best bbq in Cincy. There really isnt much here not to like. Pulled pork is great. Jalapeno corn bread and jalapeno cheddar grits are awesome too. Turkey in general is typically bland and often dry in my experiences elsewhere, but they nail it. Give it a try!

Go to Eli's everytime we come to Cincy from Michigan. Ribs are excellent, everything good. Wish they did brisket.

I know everyone thinks this place is heaven on earth, and while it is above average, it is not the best BBQ.

Pork shoulder rub was a bit on the salty side. Good smoke and moisture, overall good taste. Just thought it could scale back on the salt.

Mac n cheese I heard was a must. While it does taste good, it is just nothing special. Cheese sauce consistency like in Velveeta.

Jalapeno corn bread was really good. Can't complain.

No brisket. I thought the menu was a little short for the smoke side of things. Basically your option for smoked meat is pulled pork or ribs.

Eli's made my visit to Cincinnati even better with their delicious food. It's so good there was an hour+ wait on Saturday night (a sure sign of top notch good quality). I didn't have time to wait Saturday night, but came back on Sunday and confirmed the BBQ is phenomenal and well worth an hour+ wait.

The options are limited and the sides are unimpressive, but the pulled pork sandwich was probably the best I've ever had. The prices were good, too. Outdoor seating and a decent amount of parking in the alley behind the place.

Food is great! Facilities, not so much. They're building an outdoor pavilion, so that should change soon.

BBQ was good, had the pulled pork and the smoked turkey. Wish they had sweet tea and lemonade, not just bottled pop/water. It is worth going and having for sure.

It's so good, you'd be an idiot to miss out. I love this place. Seriously the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had. It reminds me of this (now gone) local bbq place in Erlanger ran by a baptist preacher from a hand built shack. He used to cook up some serious soul food and Eli's has manage to meet that mark. Live music, easy street parking, and you can byob if you'd like or you can get your drinks there.

Best BBQ in town, hands down. Literally everything they make is delicious, and it's BYOB. Can't beat that. Great afternoon spot to hang out with friends!

Used to be the best. Quality is slowing declining over time. Very often the pulled pork is dry now a days. If you order 6 ribs at least two of them are shriveled and not a good value. Rib tips bordering on jerky.

Food was ok. Service was rude. My wife asked an innocent question. If they had boneless wings. The cashier wasnt sure so she asked the guys in the kitchen. One of them yelled out "we dont serve chicken nuggets!"

I was told I had an hour wait for my food and picked up my order right on time. Went inside to pay and my bag appeared to be sitting there for quite sometime. Took it to a nearby park with my husband and kids and everything was ice cold. Stop telling people the wait for the food is longer than it really is.

Elis has the best bbq in Cincinnati. It has that perfect balance of smokey, sweet, and salty. Their sides, especially the cole slaw and cornbread, are absolutely fantastic.

Everything on the menu is great. The ribs are exactly how smoked ribs should be and the long wait for food is because they are normally slammed with customers due to the fact that the food is amazing. Have some patience and understand what real food tastes like and you will love this place. Yes it is cash only but there are atms on just about every corner these days. If you want quick service and generic food, visit your local fast food establishment.

This was my first time here. I was very disappointed that they only have canned or bottled drinks. I can't believe they don't have fountain drinks. The pulled pork was amazing! I might stop to get it to go in the future.

HOLY TOMATO!!!! I was at Eli's last fall as I was in Cincinnati on business.

How good was it? So good that I ate here THREE DAYS in a row! The pulled pork sandwiches are the BEST I've ever had and I feel I'm quite particular.

The meat was very very lean, the flavor was out of this world and the sauce was superb.

I just drove by here yesterday and I see they build a gorgeous covered outdoor pavilion to sit under. It's equipped with outdoor bathrooms and the spring, summer and fall breezes are going to flow right through this wonderful shelter.

You'll be able to eat lunch under this structure in the shade. That's a big plus on hot Cincinnati days.

If you like BBQ, then you MUST STOP HERE. The other place that has the initials M I and has a big reputation has gone way downhill in my opinion since the founder passed away. Eli's is the #1 BBQ place now in Cincinnati.

Am I the only person in Cincinnati that thinks this place is mediocre at best? We've had Eli's several times at work, and I don't understand the hype. Pulled pork and turkey are average. Ribs have been dry/overdone. Sides are unimpressive. Maybe it's the fact you can eat outside and bring your cooler, but I don't get it.

You will wait, but the funny thing is its worth it. Pulled pork (regular can technically be picked up, but the "January" with extra meat is totally worth the time. Not the best bbq ever, but great none the less. A smoke ring that wont stop in the meat.

Literally the best BBQ I ve ever had. You can bring your own beverages. Husband and I will take a 6 pack of favorite beer. Have moved away from Cincy, but we always go to Eli s when we visit!

Great ribs. The slaw was nice not not particularly a style I prefer. The mashed potatoes were great. Make sure to request them dirty. I also tried the pulled pork hot dog. It was wonderful. Gotta go back soon. We sat in the heated tent on a 35*night it was warm and cozy. Good times.
