Elevation Restaurant Review

Needed a Reservation, which was understandable. Parking was easy... Amazing View!! ENTRANCE CLEAN.

Very nice facility-it looked shiny and new. Frankly, most of my food experiences in the Minot and Williston area have been less than spectacular, so my expectations for this restaurant were not that high. Our first impression of the restaurant, as we walked in was that it was a little chaotic I had never been to a higher-end restaurant where you just set yourself, but in their defense, they had a couple big parties and appeared that their staff was a little overwhelmed. The food we ordered was very good. We have the shrimp tacos, the Thai lettuce wraps, the prime rib cheesesteak and the ribeye meal. I did explain to the server ahead of time that I like my steaks medium rare, and most restaurants get that wrong. Unfortunately, elevation was no exception. My steak was wrong. But our server, Payton, was fantastic, and she handle it with professionalism and the type of courtesy and kindness that is rare these days. She made an uncomfortable and somewhat unpleasant situation absolutely bearable. She is a tremendous asset to this restaurant. Allegedly, the management team was in a meeting, so they were unable to rectify the situation personally. My expectation would be that when a steak is not cooked broccoli, the manager themselves, would come out and make it right. This did not happen and this responsibility was left to our server, which, I believe is unacceptable. The management team should never put a server in that position to have to fix the problem that she wasn't responsible for. Alas, she handled it with flying colors. We also had a couple desserts elections that were fantastic. I would most likely give this restaurant another chance, if I were ever to be in this area again. If you're looking for an above average daily experience with very good service, I would strongly consider Elevation..

Originally wanted to go for dinner but ended up with going to Saturday brunch, he had the salmon Benedict I had the fillet Benedict, both were amazing and the bacon was incredible. Let's not forget bottomless mimosas......so amazing. Staff was friendly and very attentive. View of the golf course was very wonderful, would come back again.

Im only putting 1 star so i can post. I would rate -2 stars lol It was really bad. The hostesses at the front were down right rude, we got there at 1130am and got our food at 130. My breakfast tacos sat under the warmer so long they broke apart when you touched the torillas and the sauce had solidified and broke off in chunks. They comped our entire meal and we tipped our waitress $50. The waitress Stephanie was Amazing! Sad to see how bad evaluation has gotten.

Met a friend for lunch. First off, the views are stunning with the outdoor area overlooking the valley. The staff was amazing! Super friendly and made you feek like you were the only customer in the place. We enjoyed items from the breakfast brunch menu served on weekends. The food was plentiful and delicious. This will be a must go to place when I visit Minot again.

This is the best place in town!
We were served by Cody and he is by far the best sever I ve ever had. This guy deserves a serious raise!
Cody anticipated all our need and accommodated all 3 of the kids in our party without us having to even ask. He served them early because he recognized that they were getting antsy. Again we did not have to ask, Cody s expertise as a server shown through in his professionalism and passion for his job.
I can t praise him enough for his good service!
Give Cody a raise before he gets a better job offer, he is an expert and deserves it!

I made reservations two weeks in advance for Valentine s Day. When we arrived we waited 25 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and had to be seated in the bar area to get a seat. I have heard good things about this place but we were so disappointed, I would not recommend to go on any holiday ever. The waiter didn t even know what cut of steak was on the menu..... It took over an HOUR to get our food, for the price that was absolutely ridiculous. Not the experience we were hoping for. Food was good, but not worth waiting over an hour for.

5 stars
+1 star for nice waiter
-1 star for high prices
+1 star for good food
-1 star for prices
-1 star friend told me there was a strip club ( there isn t one )
-1 star drinks weren t so good

My feedback:
This restaurant is pretty cool itself but, could use some renovations. First, make the wait a bit shorter, the wait was TERRIBLE. Second, maybe add a strip club area in the bar ( minot really needs that because there isn t a single one In the city) So yeah, that s my feedback.

Has such a beautiful view. I can't say enough about the presentation and taste of the food.
