I had a lot of concerns in the first place mostly caused because of the negative reviews but this place is definitely worth a trip!

We stayed for the overnight program and had a blast. Truth out the two days we had kind of a tight schedule but every activity was very fun.
On the first day we were feeding the elephants, cooking sticky rice for them, cutting grass for them and took a bath with them.
The second day started with a hike to the middle of a mountain with a stunning view!
After breakfast we had kind of a private feeding and bath session with two elephants and just a very small group of visitors. Later that day we went out for a very fun activity called floating the river with the same group and an instructor. In the end of the second day we fed the elephants one more time.

The staff is very polite and was open for all the questions we had.
Our bungalow wasn t that nice but ok for just one night.

For all the last concerns you should really think about how the elephants were treated before coming to the ElephantsWorld. In my opinion the elephants have kind of a tight schedule, yes and don t need a bath every day but you have to face reality, a place like this won t finance itself and in the end the elephants seem happy!

This was an amazing experience to feed, play and even wash an elephant in the river kwai. We loved the guides and there was not a lot of pressure to buy or donate ( of course we did in the end because the experience was amazing and it supports the elephants). A must go when in the area. They will even pick you up at your hotel and deliver you back.

Best day of my life! Spent the full day feeding and bathing these beautiful creatures who have been saved from harsh captivity and are now enjoying their retirement
Truly amazing to see them in their own environment, protected and cared for by the wonderful team at Elephant's world.
Can't recommend this place highly enough!

One of the best experiences in my whole life! The cost is quite high but definitely worth it (2500 B).
The ticket includes lunch meal, information about elephants, having a mug bath and water bath with elephants, cooking sticky rice for old elephants, feeding elephants and cutting sugar cane for them.
The crew is absolutely amazing too!

A very special place where YOU WORK FOR THE ELEPHANTS!! Our family had an amazing time each visit. Having the opportunity to encounter these docile creatures is an unforgettable experience. Our guides were awesome and made our visit even more special. A hi-light of our day was seeing the babies. Take time to learn about each elephant's past as some come with a sad past. You won't regret spending a day here!!!!

Great place to visit if you ever make it to Thailand. You get to feed the elephants and kind of follow them around during their day. The food the had for us was good as well. They also provide you with a water bottle holder with the ElephantsWorld logo and a bottle of water. You can refill it from ice water they provide or at the souvenir shop you can buy water, soda, snacks, and of course souvenirs. Rates were way cheaper than hotel beverages, not as cheap as 7-11.
You get to spend the day up close with the elephants. Make sure to bring sunscreen and bathing clothes. You will want them for the afternoon mud bath and river play time. There are changing rooms and showers for cleaning off afterwards. You will make some great memories here.

Elephants World is truly a magical sanctuary for elephants, ranging from ages 2 to 65. I had one of my best adventures ever! Being able to go into the lake with the elephants to bath, splash around and wash mud on them was the most natural childish fun for an adult. Feeding the elephants and hugging and kissing them and seeing that they love each other and love people makes you feel like you are in the most special place. It is truly beautiful and the organization is first class. We even prepared medicine for the elephants to take and learned how they are cared for by a very loving community. This is a true one in a lifetime experience, unless you live in Thailand and can do it every day.

Such a great place! We only went to feed the elephants some snacks and we regret not getting a day package. The elephants seem well treated and the staff were professional and friendly. There's a lack of visitors due to covid so please go support this amazing organization. You won't regret it

About ElephantsWorld

Elephants World: A Self-Supporting Environmental Conservation Organization

Elephants World is a self-supporting environmental conservation organization located just outside Kanchanaburi, Thailand. The organization is dedicated to caring for domestic elephants and promoting their welfare through various programs and activities.

The organization was founded in 2008 by a group of individuals who were concerned about the welfare of domestic elephants in Thailand. They saw that many elephants were being mistreated and exploited for tourism purposes, which led them to establish Elephants World as a sanctuary where these animals could live out their lives in peace and safety.

Today, Elephants World has become one of the leading elephant sanctuaries in Thailand, attracting visitors from all over the world who are interested in learning more about these magnificent creatures. The sanctuary provides a safe haven for elephants that have been rescued from abusive situations or retired from working in the logging or tourism industries.

At Elephants World, visitors can interact with the elephants on a personal level by feeding them, bathing them, and even helping with their daily care routines. This hands-on experience allows visitors to learn more about these gentle giants while also contributing to their well-being.

In addition to its elephant care programs, Elephants World also focuses on environmental conservation efforts aimed at protecting natural habitats and wildlife populations throughout Thailand. The organization works closely with local communities to promote sustainable practices that help preserve natural resources while also supporting local economies.

One of the unique aspects of Elephants World is its self-sustaining model. The organization generates income through its visitor programs and uses this revenue to fund its operations as well as support other conservation initiatives throughout Thailand. This approach ensures that Elephants World can continue providing high-quality care for its resident elephants while also making a positive impact on the environment.

Overall, Elephants World is an exceptional example of an environmental conservation organization that prioritizes animal welfare while also promoting sustainable practices within local communities. Its dedication to preserving natural habitats and wildlife populations makes it an important player in Thailand's ongoing efforts towards environmental sustainability.
