I recognize some of the names of those who wrote bad reviews and they were fired. Good riddance. Great place to work, can't get better benefits anywhere else. Managers do expect you to work hard, so lazy people looking for an easy ride beware!

Workers seem to interfere and try to keep family from caring for loved ones, seems they fear losing money. They also willfully break laws. Looking forward to taking legal action to make sure no one else ever goes through this.

A common theme is the management is awful, and it is spot on. How this company is still running is beyond me. Terrible senior management, terrible decisions. Decisions are based on what helps senior managements pockets rather than helping the employees. Clinical and IT department is running this company dry right in front of their faces and they choose to do nothing except turn an eye. Decisions are also made based on who you know and thats all. This may come off as a sour ex employee but its the blunt truth.

My mother has been a member of PACE for the past few years. Now that she is too old to participate daily, she is left in her own apartment with promises of "care and comfort" by the PACE staff/administrators. Rather than provide her with helpful, knowledgeable people who can communicate with her and are familiar with her and her needs, PACE has outsourced her needs to a third party vendor, Crossway, for less money than they are receiving for her care directly. They call it cost effective. With the exception of one morning homemaker that shows up Monday through Friday and puts her heart and soul into her job, there is no consistent account of anyone showing up to do anything for our mother. of the few that have shown up none are fluent in English so the language barrier separates the two. They don't prepare or feed her or even see that she is eating. Nothing is gauged or reported to anyone. Zero communication between the 3 parties. They leave before their assigned time. Complaints have fallen on deaf ears.
PACE doesn't fulfill its minimal end of the care by providing simple necessities like the 2 per day Ensures that they prescribe for "care and comfort" yet they don't deliver any. They just don't deliver.

They are not structured well. They have managers managing manager sand not enough people to do the work. The people at the bottom don't know whats going on or what the vision of the company is. Management has no idea what their employees want; they end up having a high turnaround. The pay is poor, not comparable at all to the surrounding areas. They won't hesitate to tell you have replaceable you are as they run you into the ground. They don't take care of their employees all they care about is the bottom line. The staff consists mostly of people who are out of school and have limited options. once they get experience they leave. its a good starting point but not a long term option.
