Great JODHPUR IIT....

Campus is present in such a deserted area. But they have done their best to avail all kind of facilities amidst the desert.
I wish there would be more plantation and more greenery to beat the heat.

Being a student here, I can surely say that this is a very good college with all the bells and whistles students crave for. Before joining, l was a bit worried about the campus life. But after being here for more than a year now.. I think campus life here is top notch and the seniors are friendly and supportive.

Went for m. Tech admission! Limited no of faculty... Three inter-disciplinery courses.. Good innovation and nature friendly work... But still need a lot time for development

Permanent campus Edit
IITJ will be located about 24 km from Jodhpur city on National Highway 65 which connects Jodhpur to Nagaur. The site spans over 852 acres (3.45 km2) of land around Jhipasni and Gharao villages. The foundation stone for the permanent campus was laid on 16 April, 2013 by then Union Minister for Human Resources Development, Dr. M. M. Pallam Raju.

The permanent campus is being built on a self-sustainable model, catering for its own energy and water requirements. The campus' masterplan got 'GRIHA Exemplary Performance Award' under 'Passive Architecture Design' category at the 8th GRIHA Summit held during 2nd - 3rd March 2017, at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

This is the new building and construction work was going on in the campus.
This campus is spread over many acres of land.
construction of this campus is made in Jodhpur style actually in ancient style of king's palace.
