Do not go to this agency for service!!! They do not help people, they do their life harder. Case manager Irina Rakkel does not care about needs of elder people. Every case of communicating with her was very stressful and frustrating.

Completely rude and not professional. Not everyone is rude but there was this certain person whose name was Sandra. If you are helping out someone speaking the same language as you, you should be willing to help out. This person had the most unprofessional manner her tone was like she was too lazy to help out and hung up the phone without even letting me finish my sentence. I called back and spoke with a different person, she was kind enough to walk me through the process and in the background I hear the person complaining why I am calling again when I was just doing the best I could to help someone out. I don't know what they look in people when they hire them, but she was just completely rude and unprofessional in every single aspect.

Zero Stars! Consumers beware of this agency and go to another place. The workers who are employed there are highly incompetent and unprofessional. Stay away from Beverly Young and Wally Ahmed, nurse care managers. They have no knowledge of anything and their follow through is horrendous. Care and assistance is abysmal. You end up having to do their job which makes it completely stressful and frustrating.
This place this a zoo. No-one knows anything and everyone is incompetent. I LITERALLY HAVE TO DO ALL the paper work for them. Nurse care manager Amed Wally is a complete idiot! He knows ABSOLUTELY nothing. He will say he will take care of matters and then will NEVER call you back when he says he will. You literally have to hound him! Only time things gets done is when you go above and complain to Elery Smith. Please reconsider placing your parent or yourself here. It is very sad, disappointing and scary to have this agency who claims to care for you and they do not.
I have been calling Elder serve for a month trying to find out where I can use this coverage for a pair of glasses and I cannot get an answer from them. They have told me to look in the book when I them I no longer had the book. They could not help me everyone is working from home so I guess that means I cannot get any managed care services from them even though Medicaid is still paying for their services
This place is a complete joke. They play with people's money and it has to end. I contacted Linda who a nurse who only comes out 2 times a year....who even of you call her boss she won't do her job. Her boss who's name is Romaine is another complete joke. I work for an agency and when it comes to over time they play like they can't see the HHA system, so why even do home care if you don't know how to get into system..... This is the 2nd time they haven't authorized an over time for me. I wasn't going to write a review but I'm tired of them playing with money. I don't work for free it took them almost 7 months to give the woman I work for extra hrs and her condition changed multiple times... And the nurse Linda played like she never saw the discharge papers. I hope the owner see's this review and I will be making a trip to the office. Since they never get my agencies faxed documents or the changes in the system..... This has to stop they don't care about people.... I have bills to pay... I don't work for free if we get stuck in Manhattan or long land traffic or at an appointment because there was an issue.... I'm still on the clock I don't clock out until I get her home, something to eat and in her home safe.........
