What a joke. They send me a letter alerting me that I need to cross check my daughters hospital stay provider bills with my EOBs and if they don t match to send them to ELAP which I do only for them to tell me to contact my third party insurance company and that the charges were not handled by them. ELAP does not handle bills that are specifically related to physician and/ or professional services. What?!? Then what do you handle?? Why send me marketing messages that claim you are here to help and then not perform the service included with our insurance plan??
