Old Dominion was a great choice to ship a large item. Not only were they friendly and attentive, they explained everything I needed to know and do without hesitation. They were able to beat their competitors prices by over $1500 and the item arrived to my buyers days earlier then their competitors. They picked up from my garage and delivered right to my buyers door step at a time convenient for him. I will definitely use this company again!

This much better than the first time you visit the drivers continue believing as if they were the best but they are not because they do not understand their trocas are not the best

I am the owner of Milagro Coffee in Las Cruces. We had ordered an 872lb combination dry/refrigerated bakery case 6ft long. I had requested a phone call to alert us of the delivery so we could arrange some help. I overlooked specifying the liftgate option. The email I got indicated we would get the delivery on 7/11/18 so I rented a $450/day forklift as I figured it was my fault. The case came a day early, but they had a liftgate, and I never got called. The driver unloaded the 872lb display case in the back of the coffeehouse which would have been impossible to move through the business to the front. When I explained it to him he was so professional and offered to put it back on the pallet jack and try to move it around to the front with my help. Because the back lot is so rough we could not move it. He then graciously began maneuvering it back onto the lift gate with my help on one end with a little hand truck. We got it back on the liftgate and into the trailer and he drove around front, unloaded it and we pushed it into place. It is an $8,000 + case so I needed to uncrate it and inspect it for damage. He patiently and professionally stood by while I did so. The driver spent considerably more time on this delivery than it should have taken for a number of reasons, on a hot and humid day and he was nice the whole time. I offered him a cold drink but he graciously declined and got on his way. He has always been this way and reflects a real professionalism and is a wonderful representative of his company. Sorry I have missed his name, but if I find out I'll pass it along. We get a fair amount of shipments of green coffee and this outfit and this driver are excellent to us.
