In Italy it is very difficult not to eat a good ice cream but in the La Carraia ice cream shop it is another thing as soon as you pass the bridge you find it. The service and kindness of those who attend you with a smile and you like ice cream, it is difficult to choose the taste for the variety they have. What else to say is a top side

Fantastic gelato! Try the chocolate orange. Serving sizes are pretty good in comparison with the rest of the others and cheaper.

Normally very busy both for the affordable price despite being in the historical center, both for the very strong taste of ice cream. Cute staff up the cleaning standards.

There is usually a lot of people however the gelato is certainly worthy to wait! Prices are little higher than in any other gelato place but the taste of it is precious

Rudest staff we've experienced in Italy! If you like being treated like a prisoner at the prison cafeteria then go here but if you enjoy friendly service, go somewhere else because you won't find it here. You are only allowed to taste one gelato to help you make your decision. They don't want to assist with dietary requirements. They don't ask you for your money but then yell at you when you assume they have charged your friend for yours because they promptly moved on to the next customer. I get that they are busy but maybe they should be careful not to rest on their laurels. Gelato was ok, not great - too sugary for my liking. There are so many other great gelato shops in Florence if you want good service and delicious gelato.

An Italian ice cream as we like them: cheap, tasty, varied. We went after reading the complimentary review that our backpacker did. The Florentines make their way from the four corners of the city to eat there and there is the tail out. Accustomed to good Italian ice cream since my childhood I highly recommend this place!

Forced to pass through this ice cream parlor which is the oldest in the world.
It is located in the tourist area but it is not a very busy area.
The prices are fair. There are always a lot of people but there are a good number of employees working so it is quick to make the purchase.
It is missing some benches outside to be able to enjoy the ice cream.
The flavors are many. I recommend.

Here you can find the best ice cream in Florence. Not only did the sheikh of Dubai notice this. Since the ice cream parlor could seem a little inconspicuous: never walk past here! The prices are very moderate compared to the size of the ball and far above the price performance in Germany. Clear recommendation!

Yes it really is the best gelato in Florence (and maybe even further). Probably why it has rated so highly with the locals for so long. Tried a gelato a day for 21 days around Italy and this really stood out - will be the benchmark for years to come! Authentic gelato - once you taste the gelato here .... you get it. Delicious.
