We loved everything. Everyone was so helpful and kind. All the attractions were nice and the kids had a great time at the water park. We were not as impressed with the island Palomino because it was rocky sea floor and not very deep to swim. Room and fridge didn't cool very well but it was very clean. We had great view from our room.

The spectacular views it has. Unfortunately, almost two years after Maria, it has not been possible to finish arranging and opening all the rests spaces, swimming pool and its beach. The little staff that is working does it very well. Success!

Fantastic resort with awesome staff all around. Front desk to housekeeping, maintenance and etc. My stay would have not been as great as it was, if it were not for these great people always helpful and assisting. I could not have asked for a better experience!

Great place. The area is big. La casitas is a private villas area in the resort. Amazingly cozy to stay at. Or you can also choose rooms on the first level, that would give you possibility to stay closer the ocean. Great swiming pool area with different pools and jacuzzies. Big choise of restaurants and bars. Beautiful lobby.

I booked this trip last minute. The pros; the private island is fun and accessible. The water park on the resort was fun but expensive, yes you have to pay to use it. The cons: the trip was expensive. This is not an all inclusive resort it is more like a nothing is included resort. Go to a sandals which is all inclusive its the same price in the end. The resort was bought out by the Waldorf Astoria but it is not up to par. Its very dated and several things were broken, i.e. fountains, speakers, etc. The food is expensive! My wife and I ate at the resort, lunch was typically 50 bucks. Don't be surprised if dinner cost 150.00 bucks. If your looking for night life go somewhere else. The place shuts down at 9:00 pm. The restaurants close so there is nothing to eat. Drinks are 10.00 a piece and beer is 9.00 a piece. This is the only tropical vacation Ive been on where its silent. Thats right no music on the resort. I would not recommend this resort.

This hotel is a true institution in Puerto Rico. The complex is surrounded by golf courses and is located on the seashore, although its beach is on Palomino Island, where you are taken by boat. The rooms are huge and comfortable. There are restaurants, gambling halls, supermarket, ... and that is that the hotel is far from everything and in addition a car is even needed to get from the door of the complex to the lobby, since the distance is enormous.

I got the pleasure of having a family vacation here during Memorial Day Weekend, and it was fantastic. Location is great, Palomono Island for the private beach is beautiful. I had an Ocean View which was perfect to watch the sunrise and set every morning/ night. Food was good, drinks were good as well... might be a little pricey so prepare for that but well worth it. I rented a car so was avle to travel around the town for snacks n stuff as well. I had no complaints from me or my kids, we were treated very kindly by everyone from front desk to housekeeping to waiters. We will definitely come back again in the very near future.

This place is great... View is wonderful, staff were great, the hotel is huge so be prepared to walk. The boat takes you to another island which is a must see, on our way there we saw several sea turtles...its so relaxing and peaceful. Only down fall is the restaurants. Spent a lot of money and take it from me don't waste ur money.. Stingray was terrible, I can't believe this resort does not have a hot tub. Lastly, how the hell does a resort of this size have a gym so tiny n wack. Please remove that useless garden to the right and expand and update it smelled terrible

This will be my 3rd time staying alone at a resort...

This will be my 3rd time staying alone at a resort and I will say this is probably the best looking one one BUT I must also share that I'm here on raining season and this hotel has zero indoor activities for adults or kids. I spoke with the tour person, Millie and that woman was not helpful at all. Pretty much if you are traveling alone or if you have another person good luck getting into any of the tours since this Millie person stated that you need to be a party of 4-8 people if not then go figure something else out for yourself because Millie didn't bother to do anything for me than to ask for my information to tell me she would call me with any information, well it's been 24hrs and nada. I do understand it's rainy season in P.R but come on the resorts in Costa Rica and Honduras helped me get some sort of tour regardless of the weather or the head count of my party?! Customer service is not the best in this hotel either, I also called the front desk left a message -nada, called for room service 3 times and the same, nada. I don't get this place! Ooh, maybe i should stand in line and wait until someone in the front desk wants to help or just keep calling and leave voice messages until I check out, stupid me. Que desgracia De servicio!

Beautiful location, lots of amenities, good dining options, not far from San Juan and El Yunque, friendly service, great for kids, quiet and peaceful. Room could stand some updating, bed was very firm, bathroom definitely needs some deep cleaning and updating. Great views.

Great location overlooking the ocean loved going to the island for the beach staff was friendly and food prices were typical resort prices for a place like this my only issue was I had different rooms during my stay and the temperature varied quiet significantly between them but minor overall

The staff & atmosphere were just wonderful !!!!!!! They tended to me & my husbands every need & had a Starbucks! We went jet skiing on the private island by catching the ferry that was romantic & fun !! The only thing I can say is to get a rental car & hang at the kiosks if you don't plan on spending a lot of money it's not cheap on the resort.

I still waiting for them to re-open after Hurricane Maria. For me the best resort at Puerto Rico. They have everything you look for in an island resort. They have pools, pool slides, the beach at the Palomino island, kayak rentals, horseback riding, golf, basketball courts, tennis courts, the huge game room. Definitely I will reserve once they open again.

Beautiful location with many amenities. Clean rooms, several nice restaurants and shops. Fun waterpark adjacent and private island (a 20 minute ferry ride away) with a beautiful beach. On the island you can rent jet skis, snorkeling and scuba diving equipment, go horseback riding, play mini golf, etc. Other amenities on the main property which I did not use are golf, tennis, fitness room and spa services. It's a wonderful vacation spot!

El Conquistador is a beautiful resort. My experience was amazing. The restaurants were memorable, but some of them were obviously price-gouging. That part is nonsense. There is wonderful local cuisine that is very high quality for the cost of some eggs and toast at the resort. Go check it out for yourself! I hope to return to Fajardo in times to come. Also, the Coqui frogs make a beautiful sound every night!

Perfection!!!!! We had the best time! So much to do, you don't need to leave the resort if you don't want to. Wish the drinks were stronger at the bars and we had a long wait for the ferry one day, but it didn't ruin our trip by any means. Everyone was friendly and helpful! The food at the resort restaurants was all great. (The food at the restaurant at the beach could use some help.) The pools and private beach were beautiful !!!!! Everywhere we went was very clean and kept up well. Could use a fresh coat of paint in places but it's a breathtaking location and resort in general. Our room was beautiful! We can't wait to go back!

Excellent place to get away from everyday life. Very friendly employees. The view from the room was beautiful. The only thing I did not like is having to wait a long time for transportation to get to the hotel. They should have more buses available continuously going up and down. That's why I give it 4 stars. But the place is beautiful.

This resort is by far The Best Vacation Destination in Puerto Rico. Let me start by saying it's Huge! The Hotel ( Main Property with 4 other separate properties) Has All the excitement and Activities along with the Shops, It also includes free ferry service for its guests only to Its privately owned beach island as well as a water park and night life. For those who like the home type accommodations Las Casitas Village is Your Ideal perference! And Let Me Say This is Some Village with pools and house/home style feeling..From The Butler ( Adam ) to the Housekeeper (Yisenia) The service was Bar none. If your planning to go..Get ready to enjoy and feel One of the best places in The Caribbean.. One of Puerto ricos highlights at it's best with Evenings filled with Coqui Melodies to beautiful breath taking mountain cliff views ofGolden Sun rises..This IS The Place to be in Puerto Rico! :-) sorry El Caribe Hilton In San Juan But You've Lost Your Number One Spot!

I stayed here with family and friends a few years ago. Very big hotel, arcade, golf, casino, restaurants and more. Expensive so I'd suggest you either bring a big wallet or you go out to eat in a fast food or cheaper restaurant. It has a cool water park and its own beach which is accessed by ferry. Rooms were big and clean, and had a great view of the golf course. It has like 3 pools and it looks gorgeous at night. I enjoyed my stay here and I'd go every year if it wasn't so expensive lol!
