To avoid absolutely for French students (I don't know for foreigners): poor academic quality, low level of requirement compared to other Parisian universities, absurd colloquium / thesis subjects, little recognized center (in research, I don't speak not even the non-research job market), incomprehensible recruitment of teacher-researchers, some reaching Research Director levels (ie University Professor) without having ever written a thesis in France or elsewhere, others who claim to be Professor of Law while they do not have the Law aggregation competition ...
No doubt good if you want to sell yourself abroad, but if you want to stay in France, run away from poor fools.

A school that has lost its superb quality and quantity! I came across the worst and most treacherous director of studies in this school. From moral harassment to derogatory and degrading remarks! (I also filed a complaint against him) Good teachers but avoid my former principal! Attention protect your work! Mine was on the lookout for the slightest of my ideas to appropriate it! Which in itself is pathetic when you have frequented ENS Ulm like him. Too bad, I had been approached for a master's degree by one of the best teachers at EHess. Alas, he was retiring, I made a choice based on the reputation of the School. I did the worst of all!
