Is a scientific and practical training program for a period of 3 to 6 years according to specialization, according to a training curriculum developed by professors from different medical schools and consultants from hospitals of the Ministry of Health
The training of the Egyptian Fellowship aims to achieve the following objectives
Increase information and knowledge
Acquisition of clinical and technical skills
Develop and modify professional behavior for the better
In order to raise the level of information gained, and what amounts to be a specialist and consultant in his specialty
The training is conducted at a high level of competence and has a PhD, a fellowship, three years of experience or a master's and seven years of experience, under the direct supervision of a university professor or a consultant in the specialization.
Training is conducted at a hospital or accredited training center in the Egyptian Fellowship
Training is based on the acquisition of documented skills and on-the-job training (ON JOB TRAINING) as well as theoretical lectures, workshops, discussion of modern scientific journals and other training activities
Each trainee records the practical and scientific activities of the log book. Registration of activities is approved by the coach as a first hand.
The trainee must commit to attend training in sub-specialties that complement the original specialization according to the training map.
Specific numbers for each practical skill (surgical operations, births, binoculars, etc.) must be completed. A minimum number of practical activities for each specialty must be completed according to the scientific content and well before the trainee is allowed to enter the final exam.
