I received a call from an offshore phone bank to my cell phone. They transferred me to efinancial to try to sell me burial insurance. I reported them to the FCC at complaint.donatcall.gov. If everyone will do this, they'll stop the illegal calls to try to sell insurance.

They keep spam calling me and won't stop! SEVEN times in the last 24 hours, every single call with a fake person delivering the same message from a fake number with my same area code telling to call them back at some other 866 number! Unbelievable!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I got a life insurance quote through eFinancial and decided to look elsewhere. Well, since getting the quote, like many others, I've been plagued by spam call after spam call and automated voicemails. I've filed a complaint with the BBB to end this harassment so we'll see what happens.

I'm working with Team Integrity. So far, I've never once called and got someone on the line the first time. Always a voice-mail. Either no one is in the office, or they purposely don't answer. Then they call back and need some piece of information. This has happened three or more times. They've never once called me and said "hey, we need x document" or whatever. Would highly recommend going through someone else.

This place will not stop calling me 3 to 7 times a day. They keep filling up my voice-mail with the same messages. Have asked repeatedly for them to stop calling. One more phone call and I'm seeking legal action for harassment.

20 or more calls a day, pushy and asking confidential information over the phone such as social security number and bank info. 2 pieces of info scammers ask so that made me uncomfortable. I told the rep I was not ready to get life insurance from them at this time so I refused to give him my bank info. He said I could give him my bank information and it could be processing while I decide and I could call back when I m ready and then my account info will already be on file. I refused again and said I will call back when I m ready. I hung up.
I was feeling uneasy because I shared my SS# with him so I googled the company efinancial only to read these comments of experiences similar to mine.
I m about to shut them down. I want to know why reputable companies like Fidelity deal with them. If I filled out a request a quote from Fidelity on the Fidelity webpage that is whom I want the quote from.

Efinancial has messed with the wrong one. Big mistake.

Not very friendly and or informative. I got the feeling because of my age they had no intention of even trying to find me Insurance what a shame. I am not that old or sickly I just get the feeling they're trying to scam young people and don't want to deal with people in my age group

I received a call for a life insurance quote and was spoken down to and spoken rudely to for asking what this company does and who the life insurance would be through. The guy sounded defensive and annoyed for my very simple questions. I was told to go to a different local office at a different company if I have questions. I told the man that I would rather deal with someone without the attitude.

I was shopping around for insurance and browsing online. Requested an online quote. The next 3 days I was constantly harassed by calls. Receiving 23 during a 72 hr time frame. All hours of the day and night. I answered numerous times and asked NOT to be called again. It only seemed to increase. I finally started calling back and repeatedly asking not to be bothered further. This is terrible customer service. This will drive a person mad. What an inconsiderate company. I've never dealt with a business to this degree. The customer associates are rude and demeaning and way too pushy. Insurance is a very personal matter. There is NO way we'd ever chose a company like this now. I'm floored. As I'm typing this my phone just rang. You have to be kidding me.

Had a Great experience with the Agent I spoke to, informed me everything about the Policy and was able to recommend me the best Carrier that least made an issue for my diabetes. ( most companies Denied me and made me feel as if I'm not a human and good luck) but they were very professional and process was relatively quick and recieved my Hard Copy in the mail today! Every Life Insurance company will require some form of payment and Social and license, that is expected of any Carrier. They need to verify who you are, that you're telling them accurate info about your health and some kind of payment to qualify for Coverage. Otherwise if not, I know it would be hard for my son and daughter to collect the Funds if I passed away. I had a very informative Agent and the fact he emailed me making sure I got my hard copy is why I'm writing this, that's above and beyond!!! I even gave him my brothers number since he was looking as well!!

I was referred by Aflac and the agent I spoke with was rude, unprofessional and condescending. I actually think she was eating during our conversation. When I called the next day to leave a,review or complaint about her the man answering the phone for efinancial hung up on me when I said I wanted to leave a complaint. News flash!! Big mistake!! Already called Aflac and reviewed efinancial on BBB. Website and on social media.

A piece of info for the future for eFInancial. When one of your reps calls someone regarding an insurance quote and is told by the person your rep called that said person is driving and that is not a good time to discuss this, it would be a good idea for that rep to NOT tell the person "so what you are saying is life insurance is not that important to you". Yes this happened to me today, and yes, discussing life insurance rates is not as important to me at that moment as my focusing on driving my vehicle safely down the freeway. I will be looking elsewhere for my life insurance now.

Got mad at me when I said I wanted something in writing before I gave him my bank account info. This is a business that called me, and I never give bank info to a company like that. He got mad and hung up on me so I consider that a scam call.

Too bad, there isn't a negative rating. My original life insurance company said I had to go through my original company to get a quote so they told me it was efinancial. The rep I spoke with was super rude, and when I called I told them I wanted to transfer the insurance from term to full. He said it just gets canceled when you do that. Do you want me to shop around? I said no, he said OK, then he says "you need to stop wasting my time and hung up on me." Read some other reviews that said the same thing, not sure how this place stays in business seems like rep only earn money when people sign up, which is why they stay so angry

Called me from this same number 4 times at work today. Didn t leave any messages, when I called back it was a machine answering about life insurance request . I never requested any life insurance information from any company. What an unprofessional and sketchy company. I will not do business with someone who s practically harassing me with phone calls all day long. Couldn t even leave their company name on the answering machine or a voicemail when I didn t pick up. Must be desperate.

Did my research and found out it was eFinancial with the excessive phone calls. There have been reports from numerous people and counting complaining about the frequent phone telemarketing calls they get in one day from this company. Keep this up and they re about to get a lawsuit coming their way.

I have my auto and home insurance through Progress...

I have my auto and home insurance through Progressive, so I used their links on the site to get quotes for LIfe Insurance. It connected me to eFinancial. Initially the process was ok.. I got a call soon after I submitted the request for info from a rep. He called me twice in a row while I was working so I answered. I tried to explain that I was at work and he insisted the quote would only take a couple minutes. I agreed, so he connected me to an actual licensed rep to do the quote. The Rep Jonathan (based out of Chicago) was friendly and informative. However, this '5 min quote' actually took 45 minutes. I was pretty frustrated but had already committed so I wanted to complete. I submitted a quote and he came back with some initially figures from Fidelity. I agreed and said lets submit the app. He sent me the docs electronically to sign then said their UWs would have a decision within a couple hours. I received a call from a Fidelity UW with some questions that same day. Then waited for Jonathan to call me back with an approval. 1 week later I still had not heard anything. I had to call back, got Jonathan. He advised my app was a approved, but was $12 higher a month then we initially thought, because I had experienced a 35 pound weight loss last year due to healthy eating and exercising. I didn't want to pay more, so we lowered my Policy limit slightly to get a more comfortable payment amount. He sent me an addendum to sign electronically, which I did that only referenced my height, weight and weight loss. I assumed everything was fine, then 4 days later the first charge went through and it was for the full higher monthly payment that I had NOT agreed too. I called and spoke with a supervisor at eFinancial. He worked with Fidelity to get the payment adjusted and a couple days later I had a credit come through. I received my policy from Fidelity - very nicely put together. I am good. Fast forward 1 month and I realize my payment for the end of July never drafted. I called eFinancial again today, received pretty poor customer service (etiquette wise) from someone that said Jonathan in Chicago was not in and I should just call Fidelity Customer Service for more info. I called them, they said that eFinancial was supposed to send me another addendum to sign (which they never did) and that my whole policy was on hold. She ended up taking care of everything for me and I should be ok moving forward. However I would say that my experience with eFinancial was not good. They have pretty poor customer service expectations and honestly I felt that I was only a notch on their quota for the day of a referral, quote and closed sale. After that they were less then helpful in assisting me. I highly recommend Fidelity as I got a great policy, for a great price and no medical exam (not everyone will get a approval for that) however I would not do business with eFinancial again.

Bad BAD bad experience overall.

Bad BAD bad experience overall.

My agent seemed interested and friendly toward me so long as I was buying; I filled everything out and purchased a life insurance. Policy through Fidelity Life That he recommended... well this is a life insurance company that I later looked up and saw had truly awful reviews online! People calling it a scam and worse. No mainstream articles recommend this company for life insurance.

I called my agent right back and asked to cancel and switch to a different life insurance provider, and he said he will be on it But that he had to do it the next day, and He said he will call first thing tomorrow to do it and that he d then call me To let me know that it was cancelled.

Well the next day came but he never called again, I left him two voice mails that he never returned.

I then took the liberty to call the life insurance company directly who said nobody from eFinancial had contacted them, but they did cancel the policy thankfully with my request. Again, I had to do it myself. I suspect my agent wouldn t have ever cancelled it since I bet he just wanted a sales commission.

I then called eFinancial just to ask that they purge my file and don t hold onto all the personal information I gave them because this experience has left me distrusting them. I don t want them to possess my social or debit card info that I provided when obtaining life insurance. I don t want to use them anymore as the middle man , I should have gone directly with googling and finding a life insurance provider that is reputable and well respected... not one with so many negative reviews like eFinancial sold me.

I was told a manager will call me back to resolve it shortly. I ve been waiting 18 hours now and no manager has called yet. I don t know if they ll be able to purge my account/file with them and it makes me deeply uncomfortable that eFinancial now likely has all my personal information. Given their dishonesty I m even afraid they d try to purchase further things or use my identity for sales commissions.
