Effenaar Review

The small room is far too small for the number of visitors at a sold out Effenaar. As now, during the Eindhoven Metal Meeting. Unsafe situations arise, where one can go out of the room with great difficulty (ten minutes in the row full of pushing people) to go outside and then there is not even a panic situation. Pinning is also one thing, you can expect a large modern room from anywhere that you can pin at the bars. However, this is very limited in the Effenaar. Certainly not my favorite concert hall.

This is a Great place to be! Friendly staff, Good music. I also really recommend the restaurant! Great food for a Good price. Go have a bite there, I am sure you will like it!

The band that performed was great but the hall had no ventilation so it was super stuffy

Acoustics are fine, but the sound seems to be rather soft. Room is industrial and I do not like it. Wardrobe is not calculated on the size of the room, sorry. Staff is friendly. No legendary location.

Music hall within walking distance of station. Wide range, including metal scene. Good sound, wide stage. You can pay contactless at the bar in the room. Parking and bicycle parking nearby.

Great vennue! only the the drinks are expensive by my opinion.

By a pussy band you are well motivated to look for the exit. 5 stars.

Great place, in the small room it can be difficult to get beer, but oh well, you come for the music and that sounds great.

Our friends could not come to the Bo Saris concert, the lady behind the counter suggested selling these tickets if there were still people who wanted to buy tickets at the counter. We succeeded, and we got the money back, what a service! 5 stars!

Concert hall with large and small hall with good acoustics

Friendly and nice venue, but the chairs and beverage selection could be improved.

Diverse offer. Concerts and dance parties ... for very diverse target groups.

Great concert hall, recently moved to a fab new location. Situated right next to two railway station, it's very easy to reach. Only gripe I have is the entrance to the hall. It's a giant hole in the floor, shedding a lot of light during concerts.

Nice performance by Johan. The Effenaar is still a cozy music temple with a good sound.

De Effenaar is one of the better locations to visit a party. Because the large room is built more in width it all seems a lot more intimate. At the bar you pay fast contactless.

Looks professional, and often has good events. Unfortunately often pricey in general.

The sound they have there is really good for each other, the wardrobe is well organized and ordering at the bar is also pretty fast, and the staff is friendly

Nice location for concerts, centrally located at the main train station. Unfortunately, a lot of stairs and hardly any zones to sit down.

Nice party there with secret cinema, Egbert and Reinier Zonneveld! Location is fine. Too bad you have to pay with money instead of coins ...

De Effenaar visited on May 17, 2019 for the Tom Walker concert. A nice concert hall, where it is all close together. Very cozy, good sound and friendly staff.

Great venue, really like the sound of this place and you can get really close to the stage.

Not really a fine venue, dance party is just cut off 2 hours before time and you do not have a night connection to it either

Restaurant was very disappointing. Main course with veal and sauerkraut much too salty and clove. A few years ago also eaten, other concept then, that was much better.
