Top location and good food just around the corner. Nice if you come from far or just want to eat well before going to a concert.

Great room, good sound and friendly staff. The stairs to reach the hall is a bit strange but also gives a nice layout. The only drawback to the room is that you can not pin at the cloakroom, which is a bit old-fashioned.

Nice porter and good shans with old man with beard. Great night.

This place has nice spaces for concerts and parties, and you can also eat well in the restaurant in advance. Reasonable choice in terms of drinks.

I just think it's a shame that the wardrobe has to cost money if you have already bought entrance tickets.

Beautiful room only raining inside when it's very busy

The three stars I give out are purely for the quality of the music, last night at Rhapsody was very good.
However, I was not at all fond of their policy of not making the lockers (of 1 euro) available and instead opening a wardrobe where you pay 1.50 per item of clothing (so for me a jacket and a bag for 3 euros together) and where it is not possible to pin. Furthermore, there are no cheap earplugs available, only expensive for 3 euros from a machine. Everything is designed to knock you out of your pocket as much money as possible.
Nevertheless, good music. If you leave your jacket in the car, you will not be bothered by anything. Fine toilets also, by the way, may be said.

Of course not as it used to be. Everything is becoming more commercial and many tents are dependent on subsidies, including the Effenaar. Nice place for concerts and parties. The smoking area has always been dredged, in my opinion there was no extraction. Well, now you have to smoke outside because of the smoking ban. Drink prices are reasonable. The restaurant has a nice menu and these prices are reasonable. In terms of location, it is near the central station, so easy to reach!

Much too loud sound. They exceed the permitted decibels.

My girlfriend had participated in a Valentine's promotion and won tickets with a 3-course menu.
The food was very tasty, very surprising ingredients, such as filo pastry with thistle, chestnut ice cream etc. Service was attentive and very friendly and the decor was attractive.
Then I went to a concert
In short, a very successful evening. Will definitely be back soon because the prices were very reasonable

Effenaar not so big world stage for good bands that are breaking through.

Good food in the restaurant and will be fine for parties and performances! Good atmosphere and not too big.

Nice performance of st Paul and the Broken bones attended. If you have a limitation, the Effenaar will arrange a solution.

Top location for a fun night out! Beautiful format rooms for a perfect atmosphere for a concert! And very helpful staff! Since I sometimes have to use a wheelchair so can not stand, they have ensured that a wheelchair has been added to the big room! Where we are personally escorted and I even got a pass for a toilet Only praise the Effenaar !!

Still did not improve the sound. Been here 4 times now and every concert the sound was horrible. I'm skipping this venue from now on.

Excellent for music, but don't hesitate to eat there as well. Excellent menu in their cafe/restaurant.

Good programming, great variety, prices are also pretty good. Drinks are okay, but I wish there were more options for different drinks. Location is very easy to get to. Personnel is very nice, even the bouncers.

Design-wise I find kleine zaal too simplistic, it is just a plain cube, lacking any clever nooks. Balcony is nice, location of the bar not so much. Beer is overpriced as it is usual at the concert venues - 3.60 euros for 0.23l of Hoegaarden.

I went to the Effenaar for a cabaret show. There were all folding chairs in the room, so close together that you had physical contact with the people next to you all the time. After fifteen minutes you could not really sit comfortably. There is certainly nothing wrong with a concert / performance where you can stand, but I didn't like this at all!
