EF High School Exchange Year: Experience a Life-Changing Adventure Abroad
Are you looking for an opportunity to broaden your horizons, learn a new language, and immerse yourself in a different culture? If so, EF High School Exchange Year might be the perfect fit for you. This program offers high school students the chance to spend a year studying abroad and experiencing life as a local student in another country.
EF High School Exchange Year is part of EF Education First, which has been providing educational travel experiences for over 50 years. With offices in more than 50 countries around the world, EF is one of the largest education companies in the world. The company's mission is to break down barriers of language, culture and geography by providing immersive educational experiences that help people become global citizens.
The high school exchange program offered by EF allows students to choose from over 30 countries where they can study abroad. Some popular destinations include France, Spain, Germany, Japan and Australia. Students are placed with host families who provide room and board during their stay abroad. This gives them an opportunity to experience daily life with locals while also practicing their language skills.
One of the unique aspects of this program is that it offers students flexibility when it comes to choosing their courses. They can select classes that align with their interests or career goals while also fulfilling academic requirements back home. Additionally, students have access to local support staff who are available 24/7 should they need assistance during their stay.
EF High School Exchange Year provides numerous benefits beyond just learning about another culture or improving language skills. Studies have shown that studying abroad can improve critical thinking skills and increase self-confidence among young people. It also helps them develop independence as they navigate unfamiliar environments on their own.
Another benefit of participating in this program is that it looks great on college applications or resumes later on down the road. Employers often value candidates who have international experience because it demonstrates adaptability and cultural awareness - two qualities that are highly sought after in today's global economy.
In addition to its high school exchange program, EF Education First offers other educational travel opportunities such as summer camps for kids ages 6-18; language courses for adults; internships abroad; volunteer programs; and more.
