The service was quite chaotic and before the food was on the table I had already taken a bite out of the table, but the delicious pancake made up for it!

Bad restaurant !!!
I have been here 2x, the 1st time there was no drink even after 3x questions. Have it removed from the account later.
Given another chance .... 2nd time we had to ask twice before the food came. Waited over 1.5 hours for the soup.
The food is exquisite, but the organization is bar and bar poor.

We had a delicious dinner there. A good assortment of pancakes.

Because of Corona, all catering was closed at our holiday address. Decided to pick up the first day from here. Good choice. Delicious food for an affordable price. Everything we tried was tasty but the spare ribs were the biggest hit. Really delicious! Friendly staff at checkout. Really recommended. Two small areas for improvement; more environmentally friendly packaging material and more salad, because you could hardly call that scoop salad

Delicious and cozy food in the forests of Voorthuizen. Top pancakes and great dishes. Also ideal to go with children. At the back is a complete playground. Easy parking and easily accessible. Thick recommendation!

We were 15 people. and everyone had a good meal There was plenty of choice, even for people who did not want pancakes. The Petersen pancake (without bacon on request) is a good alternative for a vegetarian. Service was friendly and the wait did not take too long, and for the reasonable price it was doable with this large group. Highly recommended for people who want to eat out with (young) children.

The location and playground is very nice for children under 8 years old. Pancakes are very greasy. So fat that it made several of us sick. The children had a frikandel with fries and they were good. Toilets were very dirty. Unfortunately, not for us anymore.

Especially known for the pancakes and these are indeed the best I've ever eaten in a restaurant.

Last week eaten Tuesday evening with 10 people. Reserved 4 days in advance, so I expect everything will be alright. On arrival it was stated on the signs outside that there was a lack of staff. That's right, after an hour of waiting no pancakes. But just asked, they almost arrived. Went quite chaotic, pancakes were brought that were not ordered, other pancakes came later. A vegetarian pancake yourself, clearly ordered as such. First got a spicy chicken in front of it, then the vegetarian, from which it turned out that there was meat in it. Hereafter the specified and my order canceled, I had no confidence in it anymore. No apologies at checkout, but in response that we could have read on the signs that there was a staff shortage and that we had not been waiting for an hour. Unfortunately...

Tasty but very greasy. No pancakes how we are used to in Belgium. Also quite pricey. Playground outside but nothing provided inside in rainy weather.

Delicious food, despite the crowds we were served perfectly and we did not have to wait long for our food. Nice location if you want to eat out with or without children. Dogs are also welcome. The menu is extensive and well priced. An absolute must !!

Characteristic eatery that exudes all atmosphere. As soon as you pass it, it invites you to make a stop. Already been twice in a week during our vacation. 1x for a delicious pancake and once for an ice cream. Our 1 year old son enjoyed it. De Heuveltjes is therefore very suitable for families with children. Nice playground in the forest.
If you are in Voorthuizen, I definitely recommend you to visit here. Cozy and delicious!

Really a very nice place for young and old. Play and walk and feel very welcome and delicious warm baker's apple pie and a real gnome forest ... What a gem on the way, glad that we stopped and have come to experience this up close. Awesome!

Starting point of the Griezeveense path. Nice place. I wanted to have a cup of coffee there after the walk. Unfortunately, after sitting on the terrace for 15 minutes, no one at my table was seen to take the order .. Then I left. Not handy in times of Corona. And the hospitality industry is having a hard time .. This is not good for you

It was pretty busy and full tonight, but luckily there was a place outside. We decided to switch on our chill mode. Enjoy the weather, the beautiful location and conviviality. After all, we didn't have to go anywhere else. I think we had to wait a bit for our food due to the crowds, but the kids were busy in the playground. So we just taken an extra drink. Food was just fine but the spare ribs were more than fine. That's great.

What was clearly visible was sometimes awkward and think new staff, but they too are just (young) people, and not magicians.
