I spent one day after surgery and it was a very pleasant 24 hours. The nurses were very helpful and all had a pleasant disposition. They where always asking if I needed something or needed help with something. The areas I visited very very clean, well kept and neat. So my hat goes of to housekeeping. Everyone was so kind and helpful. This has been the best hospital I have ever visited. Please keep up the high standard of service and quality help..

From the moment of actually entering the facility and greeted by the hospital security it truly was a comforting experience. The care staff at Edward hospital were very helpful. They were very attentive and thorough in how they interacted with caring for me. I felt that I was important to them. This is a place were the love for medicine and health care is shown and felt. I appreciate all that was done towards my recovery. Thanks to ALL doctors and staff for this experience of excellent care. Job well done!
I use to love this hospital. My entire family goes here. But this past year, the level of service has gone down hill tremendously. And this is on multiple fronts. You can't get in to see your doctors. Nobody follows up after getting test results. I go to an appointment for a specific test at a specific location, wait about hour past my appointment time, to find out the the machine they need isn't working, so they try a different work around. There isn't a customer service number. When I ask for a supervisor to call, you don't get a call back. There is no extension to reach the supervisor directly. So you just have to keep leaving messages and hope you can answer your phone if and when they do call. Tried to set up auto pay on an account, had to call several times each month and it kept not working. Every month reassured that since I was making payments it would be fine and that the auto payment would work the next month. Then after a payment, it was sent to collections. Their systems don't work, and nobody knows why, and you can't talk to anyone. Disappointed and most likely looking for a new hospital and doctors.
My go to emergency Hospital if I can make it that far. Always been treated well. Sometimes get in right away. Have all the top doctors available. Wish all the Hospitals was this way. The whole staff friendly and professional even though they have stuff. Going on especially the last few years with this Covid Goin on Thanks Edwards
My husband and I just welcomed our first child at Edwards in Naperville and couldn t be more pleased with our birth experience. The nurses and doctors were incredible! They took such good care of us from the beginning of our stay until we left the hospital. As first time parents we felt as though they anticipated our every need and were extremely helpful. Theresa W., Kayla, and Gerri were our favorites and made such a positive impact on us. We are forever grateful for their support, patience, and kindness.
ER care was excellent. My husband has Parkinson s. His admit was non Parkinson s related but his ER care took that into consideration. His care on the floor was also excellent. My worry of him not getting his many PD meds on time was not an issue at all. I was there AM through PM so I saw the professional care and kindness he was given. He saw several types of doctors and communication was consistent. I was very impressed with Edward.
I had an ER visit for some shortness of breath. Everyone from the nurses, doctors, and technicians were incredible. A few were angels. The care I received was top notch. I hope I don't have to go back anytime soon but if I do I know I'm in the right place.
The last time I visited Edward Hospital was in January 2020 for the birth of my grandson. It was a wonderful experience then and a good experience this time too. Support staff was helpful and friendly. The technicians were very thorough and explained everything. They asked a lot of questions and really helped me to make sense of what brought me to the hospital in the first place. I felt they were really looking for a solution and not just going through the motions. While no surgical or medical intervention is indicated - at least I have a clearer picture why this is happening and a bit better on how to deal with it.
The surgeons, nurses and assistants were all excellent. However, house cleaning was terrible. There was black mold in the toilets because they haven t been cleaned in some time; The floors haven t been wet moped they were filthy. I know that this was a covid room but house keeping still needs to be done.
Edward Hospital it the scrum of the earth . I will never return again. I Rather travel to the city . These young Lazy nurses with attitude while being sick I just can t deal with . I Know it s hard in the medical field but if your not ready to bring comfort and your A game to make the patient feel comfortable find another profession. One nurse had the nerve to leave someone else throw up on my room floor as I was transferring into that room .She also gave me a smelly blanket I asked her time and time again when will some one come clean the mess she had the worst attitude . She never cleaned it up 4 hrs passed another nurse walked passed I tried my best to flag her down as sick as I was . I literally almost lost my IV from my arm. The new nurse said I m so sorry I ll send some one to clean it up for you and she did . I was so appreciative because she wasn t even from even on my floor . So at the end of the day . Go where you know they will put u first . Not Edwards hospital I also want to add they are not clean far as the sheets the bathrooms like what is this place good for . I had the worst experience .
