After decades of RDBMS we have entered into Big data era, everyone is excited to know and learn big data technologies. Similarly learning experience is also changing from class room learning to virtual classroom (online) learning. When I completed the Bigdata and hadoop learning course from Edureka , I must say change is good .
I enrolled in Edureka for Big Data and Hadoop Classes ( 14 April 2014 batch) ,As this was my first online learning experience , before enrolling I asked all my doubts to edureka sales / support guys . They cleared my each single doubt.
I would like to list some points that were really good.
1) Presentations were really through and material provided was really good.
All the topics were very well distinguished and supported by list of examples.
Last but not the least, Instructor Tejas was really good, He was having through knowledge of subject and industry.
He took care that everyone is attentive during sessions.
2) Technical support is very good, you have almost everything you need uploaded in LMS.
Since almost 1 year, they are supporting and answering queries. Solving every issue whether big or small.
3) Session Videos uploaded in LMS can be referred any time to revisit any topic.

Very good course structure (AI ML course). Support team is always available to help and provide guidance. Standard of assignments and tests is very high which has great contribution to individual learning and makes students job ready.

All the 5 star reviews are fake reviews. To those who got call letters from edureka plss don't go guys, those are fake one. they make u work for free and they call it intern. Don't waste your time by going to the cheaters.

Everything about edureka is good. edureka provided me the facility to change my batch everytime I missed the class. People are very cooperative and professional.They provided a VM specially for learning the course. I took Big Data course from here and I m happy by the delivery. I was working with SSRS and SSIS. I gained in depth knowledge of SSIS , SSRS and SSAS. I learned a lot about MDX as well. The course is fast past so you will need time to review the recordings as well. I think you should have some exposure to SQL and SQL server to take this course and get the certificate.

This is my first online training course. I am attending Big Data Hadoop Certification Training in Edureka. The course was pretty good laying strong foundations on Big Data.They have perfect material prepared by professionally by highly qualified professionals and their learning platform is very resourceful with lifetime access, we have access to study material for reference any time you need. They also have a lab setup through which we can play with all the hadoop modules practically. The 24*7 support and responses is good.

Worst Experience with Edureka !!! I feel like they are providing Fake Certification !!!!! That certificate is of no use. I have wasted my 20K Amount on Edureka !!!! IT Versity is 1000times better than edureka. In the Curriculum they have mentioned that this Certificate is recognised in Mphasis and Other Companies too. I work for Mphasis and reached out with the Mphasis Internal Big Data Team They mentioned it's of no use. Don't go for it !!!!

Edureka is totally good platform to gain skills required for any software professional who are currently working or seeking new oppportunities. It was a brilliant experience. However in beginning I had lot of doubts :
1)Will online course provide enough hands on
2) Are they actually helepful
3) How is the faculty, their experience
4) Will I gain knowledge that I will be able to use in practical life
5) Is one month enough . Big doubt on this.

Just to answer : I have implemented two models in my current organization with more than 90% accuracy.

It's one of the most decent options available for affordable professional courses which most of us look for improving our skill set in today's competitive world. I attended a Microstrategy course and the instructor was quiet knowledgeable and course was well paced and informative.

It was a very good experience to learn Splunk from Edureka.....Faculty memebers are very knowlegeable and cooperative.....Specially liked Sagar's teachning more as he focused upon practical rather than theory. ...all together it was an enlightening and informative course.

Good experience in learning Big Data Hadoop. The classes were informative and good. There is good infrastructure to practice sample examples and attend webinar.

My wish is if 3 hrs more added to the course duration then then it would be perfect fit with the syllabus.

I would recommend people to join this useful course. Most important is for the student to do some ground work and self-learning to have the course more interactive and extract most from the experienced faculty.

It was fantastic experience overall.Our Trainer Mr. Sarvesh is highly intellectual and has experties not only in domain knowledge but in teaching style as well.He used to force us prudently to dig deep our minds and took the answers from us only.

I really appreciate the way Edureka Support team functions. Shreoshi,Ritesh and others were very helpful .Everytime when we book the ticket having any query(technical or non-technical)we got immediate response.Edureka team handles learners with great regards.
Learner can have life time full access to study material through LMS.

Only improvement i felt, they should create some interface between 'Instructor' and 'Assignment completion' as sometimes even topics have not been discussed but we had already crossed the assignment deadlines.So it creates unnecessaary panic among trainees.Also Instructor must discuss assignment with trainess so that they could get an idea about the objectives.
I hope Edureka will do this part.

Instructors are very commercial. the one things matters to them is time. they will start on time and ends on time. They are least bothered wheter the topic/concept they are covering in depth...just focusing on new batches to make business and earn money.

Overall learning experience was great, instructor with Big Data and Hadoop class was quite experienced. The only thing that's a problem with edureka is support team, I understand that few people might have good experience but I had terrible experience with them. I recently joined Linux course and there was some technical glitches with the gotomeeting session. When I requested them for the refund which is actually possible within 7 days of joining the class according to edureka's policy, they started giving me suggestions about changing the class or watching the recorded videos. I denied all this because of my personal reasons but the support person he went crazy and started talking to me rudely saying that "OK...OK...we will refund your money back" as if he is doing some favor to me by giving me my money back. Previously I was thinking to join some other course in future with edureka but now I will never come back. Thank you very much for all your help and support.

Now I called edureka and Informed them about a case opened up with PayPal and they are refunding the Money. I will consider to give them an additional 1/2 star if I get my money back in time.

This is a scam company now. They don't even refund the money if you have purchased the course by mistake. They owe my $600 and keep on saying that Paypal has blocked that money because of the dispute. That's not the case I reached out to Paypal and the payment was cleared. Looks like I am not coming to them anymore. Save your money and go somewhere else.

I took the Big Data Hadoop course with Edureka. The course was intense and covered most of the Hadoop eco system tools including HBase, Pig, Hive, Sqoop, Flume and Zookeeper. I found the instructor Mr.Muthu Kumar not only knowledgeable but passionate about teaching his students the core concepts well. Edureka also makes pre-recorded session of the same course available to you. I found this to be very useful. The support team works diligently. I got quick response to my questions including both technical and non-technical. I really enjoyed and learned lot from this course.

Learning the AI&ML course through NIT-W and Edureka has given me the confidence on the AI and ML modules and write complex code on Python . The Assignments and code demos are really helpful and in pace with real world scenarios. Moreover, the Support team's 24/7 response on the technical queries on coding and the subject is very prompt.

I was enrolled into Devops training from Edureka On a professionalism, they provide a great presentation on the topic that helps to understand the indepth of Devops technology. Dint fine it worth the money. The classes as all on theory and that too not in depth. No practicals. I would not recommend it to any one.

I attended the Apache Spark Certification training. I was very pleased with the content to give me a full and in-depth understanding. The instructor was excellent, as he was very knowledgeable and led the students through the concepts and the hands-on work. The IDE environment was easy to install and was fantastic to work with.
The sessions were paced in a way to move through the material while getting a good understanding. Finally, this is a very affordable option for training. For sure, I will look for future courses to jump-start my learning!

Was enrolled in Spark and Scala course and really had a decent experience.

Pros:
Their lab is fantastic with 247 support.
Took the same course twice with two different instructors and learned different industry perspective from different individuals(Depends on how you see things, people might complain they were not on the same page).
They really have some amazing instructors with humongous industry expertise in specific domains.

Cons:
Only con was the duration 15 Days - 2 hours a day. Thats kinda hurts at times, You need to keep up the pace, as a working individual at times it becomes hard to maintain the balance but you have to.

Best Course in the field of Hadoop & Bigdata Technology and excellent experienced instructors.....I am now very proficient in Hadoop & Apache Spark due to this course.

The trainer was very helpful and proactive in clearing my doubts.

Don't go for this. These guys don't have technical team to help if you stuck with any programs. They are not ready to show the details of the instructor like how many years of experience he has and where does he works. One instructor don't know where local storage located in the chrome browser. Support don't read emails properly and their answers are inappropriate. They are not ready to change the slides in the presentation section which has many errors. Guys my suggestion is don't go for this. Better choices are Udacity, Udemy, Edx, freecodecamp and many other free websites. This is not for our money.

I have been a student of Edureka for over an year now. For any new course I want to learn, I first jump into Edureka site to see if they have one class scheduled immediately. They have covered all the courses that are needed for any individual to be doing good in the current job market with a wide range of courses. Instructors are really good covering the fundamentals and all the concepts listed. The course would be more interesting if the examples mentioned are from the live industry projects.
