edureka teachers are awesome and handpicked ..lastly i enrolled for tableau with shashank Tiwary and he was a fabulous teacher .i am thinking to join edureka for next 1 year for all BIG data and analytic course. i highly recommend to all who wants to learn big data and other courses..Brilliant part is that the online tutor ask to share our screen if we find difficult to understand and then teach us..i am a civil engineer but with Edureka i am 100 % sure that i can become a DATA analyst and learn BIG data in next 6 -7 months..right now i have finished Tableau and now enrolled for R even though i have paid already twice for same course of R at jigsaw academy i couldn't understand at jigsaw academy so i have paid at edureka to learn from basic and i am sure the tutor will be excellent as my past experience ..

The biggest difference from Edureka Vs other online training courses is the amount of Sample they make available for students.
Tough concepts like Mapreduce need more than one sample example like "Wordcount". Edureka provided atleast 8 to 9 mapreduce samples (just on that concept) which makes it easier for students to grasp the concept.

I give very high rating for couse content for Edureka.

Excellent Structure of Teaching. Online classes, ensuring if the attendees are understanding, taking confirmation and going ahead with thereafter. Recordings are all available. Support while solving doubts. Great knowledge of instructors. Worthy.

Your course work is excellent. I have recommended edureka to my friends also. Your online lectures are interactive and it helps a lot to clear the doubts on the spot.

Suggestion: The technical support team should be ready with the datasets downloaded on their machine when I call them to ask some problem so that me and the support team member can implement the commands at a timd on our respective computers.

I have attended multiple courses from Edureka, ranging from Big Data to their PG Program in Data Science.
I am going to break down this review in few sections so that one can be more informed while deciding.

COURSE CONTENT
Reality is every subject is so vast these days and everyone wants to learn it in a month or two. Edureka tries to design its course that would suit a wide variety of audience. They try and keep beginners in their focus for the course (unless it's a specialisation course) but they way they ramp after initial classes, it can leave you high and dry OR you can put double the effort and reap the benefits.
Personally, I prefer researching online and keep a good book to complement the course content.

INSTRUCTORS
Edureka instructors are usually one's with close to 10 years
or above experienced in the IT industry. Now, that person is good instructor or not, depends on your luck. Personally, I have experience good instructors or at least they try hard but at times they leave a lot to be desired.

SUPPORT
In this area, Edureka is unparalleled. I have taken MOOC from SimpliLearn, Coursera, Udacity, and DataCamp apart from Edureka. Trust me, no one comes close to what Edureka provides in terms of Support. They are willing to listen to you and quick in resolving your issues & queries.

OVERALL - I have had a positive experience with Edureka. My suggestion is, if you ever feel unsatisfied, or need additional support, let them know and in my case, I have seen them going out of their way to help me.

I am not a big fan of online courses and also opted for class room based training sessions in past. Out of surprise, I had a WoW factor when I attended first session of my MSBI course with Edureka. Presentation - Check, Faculty - Check, Voice Clarity - Check, Course Content - Check, Course Schedule and Breaks - Check, Revisting Past Modules - Awesome with a big check. I like the way classes were organised and faculty was far above beyond expectations. I will recommend Edureka to everyone and will personally revisit them for my future learnings.

The faculty Muthukumar comes from very experienced background in Spark/Scala, the real time example/case studies/explanation by drawing diagram in PPT/the way he answers the questions is really good. Edureka is a best choice to learn Big data and hadoop.The presenter does a great job of demonstrating all concepts with some nice examples. Also forget not to mention the support team's spontaneous response for any issues faced in understanding concepts or system installation.
One small concern is, little more time and hours can be added for teaching Scala programming and Spark concepts.

The course content is available for life time, other most good one is you can avail the course anytime ever after completion of course or missed classes. I have taken the BIG DATA and Hadoop course in Edureka recently and the feedback from my side is awesome and loved it.All the class are conducted on time and instructor is very knowledgeable and its available 24X7.

I had issue in Oozie installation while doing my personal project work and could not able to solve for more than a days and then have conducted edureka support team and they have resolved my issue and guided my step by step process to resolve the issue and its its took around 1 hr to resolve the same and appreciate their patience and dedication for solving the issue and these is going to take edureka places. I have registered in multiple courses with edureka. One thing I really like is that they offer sessions frequently with a span of 5-7 weeks which is quick. The courses have assignments and projects as well. The main advantage is if there is no time, one can join an upcoming session or plan to complete a later session. The instructors go over the concepts clearly. Have patience to sit for three hours classes though.

To start with I am an Oracle developer. I was suggested by a friend to learn Hadoop from Edureka. Muthukumar was our instructor. Edureka had Java classes tailor made that are enough for learning Map Reduce. Muthukumar was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful when required. One point I like the most is punctuality for not one but all classes, your time is respected.

I also want to add my wife took a PMP exam prep course and she liked it too. Overall I would recommend edureka for their professionalism and support

There are avalanche of institutes who claim to be expert in providing training on Analytics. I attended many courses from many institutes but found their courses very shallow. They can impress only those people who don't know anything about the subject in hand but falls flat when it comes to solving queries of those people who already have good knowledge in given subject. Industry wants real substance not talks in air. Edureka is in different league altogether. Their faculty, curriculum, case studies and last but not the least, their support team are EXCELLENT!
