As a school owner thiis is a terrible company to do business with.

As an owner of multiple martial art schools, to say that I am disappointed with EFC is an understatement. EFC is an unprofessional and unorganized company with no integrity. Their customer service was horrible to me, and even worse, to my customers. With un-returned phone calls and unanswered emails, there was never any possible way to properly communicate what needed to get done, so nothing ever did. EFC would change their policy and not inform us. In addition to that, they did not adhere to our business s policies and changed some accounts without notification. How is a business supposed to operate when we can t trust the company we have hired to get important work done? They would promise to reach out to customers, but ultimately never even attempted to contact them. As a result, our customers were left without answers for urgent matters that needed attention. Now, as we try to leave their company, we have been struggling over a month to get in touch with them and get them to do anything.

We have been using EFC for close to 20 years. They are reliable and very helpful in every step of the way, from beginning to end in all aspects of business. I just cannot imagine going forward without EFC. I mainly deal with my contact Raj, he is the most pleasant and helpful individual I have dealt with. I have had communications with others, but I know when I'm dealing with Raj over anything from address change to any other change, he is always there to help me with any problems or any other questions that might arise. I highly recommend EFC to any Martial Arts or other studio's who want the best financial interaction to help promote your school. They handle all the aspects, so you can go on and do what you do best and make sure all your students are growing and progressing at the best pace possible. I trust them 100%, and in today's world, that means a lot. I've never had any problems over all these years. I highly recommend EFC.

Unfortunately, our experience with EFC is extremely poor. My wife and two children have participated in Karate lessons here in Mass. off on on for a decade. Once the school switched to EFC for billing, we have had issues with overbilling every time they've stopped classes. Previous times we had paid by check, which allows us to control, and stop payments. The last time, we gave them a credit card number...DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY A CREDIT CARD NUMBER OR THE ABILITY TO AUTO-DRAFT ON ANY ACCOUNT! They have attempted to bill us for the last 10 months since we stopped classes. We know the Owner/Teacher and have met all requirements for stopping classes, yet they still attempt to bill our credit card. Luckily our credit card expired 9 months ago so we only overpaid by one month. Against the wishes of the owner and ourselves, they are still sending us bills in the mail. If your Martial Arts Studio uses EFC, ask them to switch. They are an unethical company with predatory billing practices.

I have been with EFC for 30 years. EFC is more than a business partner it is family. EFC has always guided, supported, helped me in every way without hesitation for a life time. I will always be great full. Thank You EFC.

I have looked an many billing companies in my day and by far Educational Funding Company the "best in breed" at what they do. Also, with the manner in which Educational Funding Company has embraced the latest in technology, they have truly become a "One Stop Shop." Great company, knowledgable staff, excellent service!

I've found this company to be very fair in their dealings. They collect money for the biggest and best martial arts schools in the world so there is bound to be a few people not happy, but if you're not going to pay, then don't sign the agreement.
Reading the bad reviews here only tells me that the people should be unhappy with the school they are training at not EFC.

As a customer i have never had a problem with this company. I can always reach customer service. All you have to do is honor your contract.

My experience with EFC was entirely positive. I recently had to cancel a contract for both of my children for medical reasons. I sent the documentation to EFC, and in less than a week my request was granted and the last charge reversed. The staff member I interacted with via email (Joel) was very understanding, professional, and friendly.

I have been a long time client of EFC. I know I can pick up the phone, or email my account specialist and get immediate answers. They keep an eye on my money so I can focus on teaching the martial arts. EFC taught us business procedures and systems to help run our business. Many years ago there were some less reputable companies collecting martial arts tuition. I heard nightmares of school owners who lost their money to a company that misused their funds. I have always felt EFC had a careful and watchful eye on my funds. Of all the choices out there to Martial arts school owners, they are by far the best.

We have been using EFC as our billing company at Master Khechen's Martial Arts Academy for more than 20 years. They are not only always helpful and professional with handling our accounts, but they have done so much to improve martial arts schools around the world. Literal fraud. Kept charging me for months and months 7 months (and counting) after i had MOVED CITIES and canceled my gym membership in writing with 30 days notice etc. Now i don't even live in the same city as the gym and they are still trying to charge me. One of the most infuriating things i've ever experience in my entire life

We have been using EFC For our Billing services since 2006 and we are very pleased with the billing services they provide. They do an excellent job of following up with clients and giving them the best customer service available. My account representatives Joseph and Shalini are always very helpful and courteous to our needs and the needs of our students. When my son's martial arts payment went up by $5. I was unaware of that as my husband did the renewal process. When I first got the call that I was $5 short that Rep. said I could just add it to next month's payment. No problem. Then I received another call two days later but I ignored it because I had already spoken to someone, then the next week I got two more calls. I answered the first call and informed this rep that I have already spoken to someone about the $5 and it should be in my account notes that I'm adding it to the next month's payment. When I got another call, I asked for a supervisor and was told I would get called back and never did. Two days later I got another call and I didn't answer it and just paid the $5. I have not had any issues with this company besides this but they need to make better notation in customer s accounts so they are not being hassled over $5
