This unethical business operates like an MLM - lots of associates to market their service in a very pushy manner. Their solution is trying to get people in debt to cough up $3k+ for their fees to apply for a DRS which is not rocket science. Don't know how they can create a business out of this.
Just look at the 1001 OBVIOUSLY fake reviews given by their own friends or fake accounts...
I was already owing 2 banks a 5 figures and I was running option to pay the loans and credit cards bills. I came across Edudebt by chance through Facebook.
With 3 weeks left to the dateline, I set up an appointment and I was served by Safri. He put me at ease and presented the options available. He gave imo sound advice and by April this year I m.under DRS.

Darkest days are over and looking forward to a debt-free journey.
I came down with my spouse to Edudebt with a Skeptical mindset. First i thought a scam company, Secondly maybe a loan or a coop organization.
I had appointment made and greeted by a Malay Consultant named Shah Iskandar. As mentioned earlier, i was skeptical the way the company operate and i never heard the program that being introduced. Shah greeted me with joyful smile and light character . He made us feel comfortable with his well dressed, sharp looking and smell fresh.
One thing we liked about him is his personality, he iced break the atmosphere with simple gesture of laugh and friendly approach. Slowly he introduced the program and we keep throwing question and enquiries. And we are satisfied with the answered given due his wise and broad knowledge. He was never pushy and We decided to enter the program without hesitation with a go!!
And now i going for my first monthly repayment which way much lower than predicted . With previously 55k of debt, now i paying only half of it .Thankyou Shah for the job well done and make us be alive again.
The first time i get to know EDUdebt is from facebook. I could not handle all my debt on my own, could not sleep at night keep getting phone call from my debtor every single day. I witness first hand, several times people breaking into tears knowing they have a way out.
People in debts are normally private about their situation and they bottle up everything.
Its nice to know we can be a listening ear to their problems.
To address the various 1star reviews above. here are some of my honest thoughts.
1- it has been confirmed by my lawyer that this is not an illegal work.
Edudebt has been in an out of supreme court assisting our clients since 2016.
People working there even start to recognise Edudebt and build a rapport with Edudebt .
2- if this is illegal, the Official Assignee by the Insolvency Public Trustee Organisation (IPTO) would not keep it quiet as they are under Ministry of Law. They recognise Edudebt as being their clients agents
3- I notice no names were given on who was it that was pushy towards the client above.
2 possibilities, either Edudebt has a bad egg in the industry that we do not know off, or this is a way to defame Edudebt's reputation. Possibly a smear campaign. If a feedback with an name is given, then it will be deemed as trustworthy.
And if it is a bad egg, it is something that every company would probably have.
Even the Happy Jovial McDonald's have had bad reviews before. Hence it would be good if a name is mentioned to help Edudebt identify who it is to improve their service.
4- it is not secret that clients that apply DRS on their own. Edudebt never hides that fact.
Think of property agent or buying of cars from overseas. You can do it yourself too, but you engage a 3rd party agent to help do the necessary paperworks such as Affidavits preparation. Not many even knows what an affidavit is.
Someone mentioned Edudebt charge $4K for their services and that is simply untrue.
5- Edudebt has been around since 2016.
Credentials wise, they have appeared in Mediacorp channels. Suria, Yes 93.3fm, Ria 89.7fm and even took part in "Let's fight scam" campaigns organised by external party.
Not to forget Edudebt has been market leaders since they entered as a Debt Solution Company.
My conclusion is
- this is a good company that does a service that is good for the public who are deep in debts.
Edudebt would rather clients find ways to settle their debts through them instead of having to sell their assets & stressing out monthly being chased by creditors.
Coming from one who was in debt before, it is no way a good feeling to have being pay money that you barely can mee
-they are trustworthy.
At least 10 of Edudebt's agents were clients.
They are a living testimony as to how helpful Edudebt can be.
-Edudebt is still a growing company.
Possibly still have flaws to work on within.
But perfection isn't an overnight work.
To be a Giant established company like AIA or DBS, one would have to go through mistakes to learn from.
As the saying goes, Diamonds were once dirty coals that had to go through intense pressure to be the diamond it is today.

He advised me to think carefully whether this service will help me with bank debts. After thinking about 3 months then I join this scheme.

U might have some question. 1) Is this legal? 2) Is there such thing paying less of what u own to the Bank? 3) is there any loop hole i need to be aware? 4) Aren't i'm feel ashamed people might know i'm in debt? 5) Can they (Edudebt) really help? 6) Do they just want the "Service fee" from me?... The question will just go on and on. But until u sit down with Hafiz and let him explain how this process/DRS works and all the advised they can provide, U won't know the result. Regret on my decision to heed your advice. Many restriction after filing banruptcy and the record stayed in the system despite discharge from bankruptcy. Bank do not approve my housing loan due to my bankruptcy record and i have no other alternative for housing as i have used my cpf twice already.

In 2017, I came across Edudebt. I shared with the Debt Consultant my plight and on how I got a $40,000 debt issues. After the consultant shared with me on how they help their clients, I was skeptical and I find the way they help their clients are too good to be true. I decided to try to resolve my debt issues as I was just too skeptical.
A year and a half later, in 2019, I decided to go back to Edudebt as I really could not resolve my debt issues on my own and my debt have increased to about $60,000.
