This about unit 3408 , landlord deducted more than $1000 for damages. The time I occupied it was old bathtub , used kitchen cupboards. Those are not in well condition. cooking burners were dirty. since i was traveled from other city with wife n kid, i did not get a chance to see before. my previous landlords were not treated me like this so i did not take pictures as a proof.
i was there 2 yrs , no compliment carpet cleaning from him. on top of it , i did soap cleaning before handover. every thing cleaned up
but old things after using 2 yrs some are broken(kitchen cup boards), bath tub lost some paint..
on other side, he did not caulking after i took in 2016 dont know when he did, commode was leaking to downstairs..after he did caulking it get stopped. he embarrassed us a lot, and saying 'you guys making floor wet i will charge some penalty'.
window blinds are terrible. it is okay my son wrote on wall and you deduct money but if you deduct money for already old things ..that not fair.
Its up to you , you want to go for it or not. this was my bad experience.
Building is good n staff and doormen are cooperative. people are welcome. nice pool, big party hall those are cool. but this landlord ....
