Had a great experience there today. Dylan spent time with us working through ideas for a new bed focused on native plants and shrubs. He laid out the plants so that we could have a good visualization of the space and told us everything we needed to know for installation and care of the plants.

Dirial and his team at Ed's have been a lifesaver to me for years. They always leave the landscaping so much better than I could ever do myself. I appreciate everything they do to help me and to make my life easier. It's a pleasure working with them and I'm grateful for this wonderful group of people.

First I have found out from other companies that I was over charged way to much! I've spent over $2300 on plants mulch and rocks! 2 days later everything looked completely dead! It was very hot outside when it was done. Landscaper should have recommended waiting, but did not even mention that. Asked always for a little bit of a better price, & Dillian always said NO! That's the price! I only went with Ed's bc I wanted it done quick, thinking I'd be happy. NOT! & was closest place to my home. I didn't want to shop around. (Big mistake). I finally got my crepe myrtles to look decent from the help of a neighbor who told me to cut away bad leaves. It worked! Now it looks much better. Of course dillian never mentioned I should do this. Only he said he would come back and replace them first for 50% cost. Until I said I wasn't paying anything not my fault they died. Then said ok I'll replace them in the fall for free if they are still dead. Like he's doing me a favor! left a mess when they were all done. I had to call back the place for them to come back & clean up in my street and front of house. The neighbors couldn't believe what they did. And they sounded annoyed when I said they left a mess! Imagine! I tried to give them a second chance because I've texted dillian about 3x and asked about gravel to cover up all the weeds. Which I had said from day one, I want low maintenance. He didn't put any paper down before he mulched. Used the same dirt, therefore now I have a bunch of weeds in my garden beds. Another landscaper said he should have used paper and spray out the weeds before making a bed. He didn't. And didn't mention any of this for an option. He never answered any of my texts. Took my money, did what he needed, & I guess asking questions or wanting something done right, because I am paying for it, doesn't matter to them! It's all about what they charge you. 2 days later he went on vacation! Sure with the $2500 I paid him! But never returned any of my calls! I'll never use them again! Bad customer service, no call back, no follow up, to bad, I had friends that I could have recommended them too! Guess they don't need the business! Lesson learned, get a "professional" not someone just out of college!! knows nothing! Very disappointed! mine as well dispute my charges too!

We've bought rocks, plants, and shrubs from Ed's. Great customer service, great quality plants & shrubs, sold by good, honest people. I am especially thrilled with two rare finds I bought, a Texas Star Hibiscus and my Oakleaf Hydrangea.

Had a great visit at this place yesterday, met with Dylan a landscape designer. Can't wait to do business with him on our property.

Update..Dylan and two of his workers planted a beautiful barrier of evergreen trees and bushes on our river property. We couldn't be happier. He and his crew are professional and great to work with. I highly recommend this place.

why can I not give zero stars? Where do I begin. We decided on Ed's based on google reviews and the fact that my parents had hired them and their work looked nice. Little did I know that in 5 months time I'd have so many dead plants in my yard. I hired them to design and plant our entire back yard. Half the trees they planted have died as well as a third of the plants. We watered appropriately, however when we dug them up we discovered a couple of things. First, none of the plants they planted had their root ball broken up from being in the pot. So when we removed them from the ground it looked just like we were removing them from the pot. In addition, they were all sitting in at least 6 inches of water. Probably because they were all root bound when planted. I tried contacting on 3 separate occasions but no one responded or returned my calls.
I would not recommend them to anyone, in fact I've been telling people just what kind of experience we've had and offering to let them see for themselves with pictures we took. Do not recommend. Buyer beware. There are many other good landscaping companies in the area who won't rip you off.

I m being generous by giving 1 star because 0 stars is not an option. Absolutely atrocious all around. Extremely over priced. All they care about is money and once the money is in their hand you are useless to them. Poor customer service. Regardless of being in the landscape business for so many years, they are clueless about landscapes and that truly reflects in their work. This is why most educated landscapers in the area refuse to work with them or buy from them. They are a bunch of money hungry crooks with no desire to properly serve their customers. Nothing but Terrible encounters with them.

They installed a long paver sidewalk for me. Communication was good from start until finish. Guys were very professional and polite. They really take pride in their work and pay close attention to detail. Highly recommend for paver projects.

Pretty good service, good price for mulch. I had 10 yards delivered, and the driver did a great job of dropping it all is one spot. I needed another 5 yards and another driver cam and he did not seem to care and almost took out my fence.

New location on Rt 360 looks like its going to be good when they get everything set.

I have never taken the time to write a review about a company but if I can save anyone from the hardship that I have experienced in my dealings, it is worth the time to write this review. A project leader came out and chatted leisurely about what they would do for a project and then when it came time to do the project, the person who spent the time discussing and designing it was never on site. People came out to do the work that were barely made privy to the original discussion and it showed. The person that spent ample time chatting was regularly too busy to make it out to be present for any portion of the actual work. Moreover, half the pants were subpar and needed replacing. The second time some went bad I just decided to not call them back.

Meanwhile, I also spent $5000 on a dry creek bed and drainage pipe install that made my run off situation MUCH WORSE. My parents lived in my house for 14 years prior to me and they just touched up gravel runoff in one to two areas with a rake after a rain. Now I need heavy equipment after each major rain. The water doesn't get to the pipe they dug up my drive to install at the start of the dry creek bed. It cuts a rut across my drive and goes in to the bed. When it does make it to the bed, the rock from the dry creek bed washes in the woods. When they put the dry creek bed in they regraded my drive without any discussion and pushed a large amount of rock to one side and it has been an awful mess of rock wash where they pushed it since. I had to replant periwinkle where they made these "improvements" of the install of the dry creek bed and have spent hundreds of dollars to fill in the areas that were disrupted during the installation. On top of it all, they charged me 300 to come put the rock back that had washed out of the dry creek bed in the woods and that smooth out the drive from the rock wall that they graded where the rock had washed and made massive culverts of rock wash. The second time I had a disaster with it occurring again their solution was tosay that they did not think they were the right person for the job (NO JOKE) and that "we've experienced record breaking rains". They never even came out to see the mess that they helped create, at the tune of over a $5300 investment to "fix", and it's worse than ever before. I've truly NEVER had such a disappointing experience with a company.

My parents have always trusted these guys with their landscaping needs, and now that my wife and I are homeowners, so do we. We ll usually wait until Ed s has in stock what we want. Competitive prices, great quality trees/ shrubs and they go above and beyond in standing behind their warranty. I ve worked with Virginia, Dillan, Sandy and Ed and they re all very helpful and patient with my endless plant questions. Highly recommend this place!

With the hose still hanging out of this gas tank on this company truck. Feel for this employee
