I visited the store to consider making a new piece of jewellery from three rings. I was widowed and I still wanted to enjoy my engagement, wedding and eternity ring but needed them to look and feel different. Jo at EC One was so sensitive and caring. She patiently worked with me (and the team behind the scenes) to create a new piece which I am thrilled with. The team at EC One are so talented. I have had many comments about my ring, now my past moves forward with me in a new sparkly way.

My partner and I have been buying pieces from EC One for over 15 years, so they were a natural choice for us when we wanted to have an engagement ring made, despite the fact we now live in Marseille.
We love the boutique, their ethical approach, the location, everything basically. The whole experience with EC One was great from start to finish. We were encouraged by Jos to come with ideas if possible, so we visited the permanent jewellery exhibition at the V&A to get inspired. We worked with him and his team to develop our initial ideas and the final result was unique and perfect. The ring design was simple but unusual, so they produced CAD drawings and then a 3D prototype for my partner to try and to see how the stones would be set.
When we came to pick up the ring there was a tiny size adjustment needed, which they did on the spot.

We had our wedding rings and my engagement ring made by EC One - they were just brilliant. I wanted something a little different / less traditional which was surprisingly hard to find in London! EC One made us feel so welcome and didn t make me feel like I was strange or awkward for wanting the non traditional. They were so helpful and were excited to source and make something different. It was a very personal and fun experience having our rings made. Jo was great at helping to get the designs just right, I had a silver model of my wedding ring made to make sure we were happy with the design and they sent photos of my ring being made. Great to support an independent business, would definitely recommend!
Excuse my hands and please pay attention to the rings themselves! I hadn't a clue about rings and never wore any until my other half proposed to me with a salt and pepper diamond engagement ring. I needed to find something quite unique in order to fit with it (and shaped around the hexagonal shape of the diamond). I researched extensively back in Ireland and across London and found very few jewellers who did grey diamonds. EC One and Jo in particular made me feel very at ease in choosing something that would match my existing engagement ring and gave me an education on all things rings! I've never customised anything wearable before so this was really exciting. Not only did they advise me on the ring material, shape and diamonds but also the setting and allowed me to input by sending me the CADs along the way. They made a model ring for me to try and ensure the 'puzzle' fit before setting the real ring- I really appreciated this step and gave me extra confidence that we were on the right track. The end result is absolutely beautiful, they did an incredible job. The two rings together look better than they do apart, quite a timeless look and I'm delighted with them. Thanks a million guys!

The engagement proposal was due to be something of a surprise, though I had been given a good idea of what my partner wanted!
From the start Jo helped me to navigate the process from initial consultation via email, a visit to decide on diamonds and further details, right through to the finished article. I let her know my budget and she gave me a number of options to suit.
Rings, diamonds and women s jewellery is not an area of expertise of mine, but Jo did well to help me along the way!
The team also sourced a lab grown diamond for our ring, which was a pre-requisite for me.
The shop is lovely, and it makes the ring much more special for myself and my partner knowing that it is a bespoke ring from a boutique London jeweller.
If you are thinking about buying an engagement ring I would absolutely recommend EC One. And if you aren t sure about going bespoke, I would definitely also recommend doing so with this jeweller.

We had our Wedding rings made here, the team were fantastically friendly and gave great advice. Some places we d visited had been a bit sniffy about recycling gold from a family ring, but at EC One they didn t bat an eyelid.
My fiance and I had been shopping around engagement rings both online and offline for about month before discovering EC One. We chose them to design my ring, and are really delighted with the result. One of our requirements was for an unusual, ethically sourced teal-coloured centre sapphire, and they were great about sourcing different stones for us to look at and answering our many questions. They also sourced lab-grown diamonds for the ring for us, something that was unusual compared to other high-street jewellers. A good choice if you want to design your own ring/jewellery as ethically as possible.

My Fiance designed my engagement ring with E.C.One and had this experience;
"Gentlemen (and ladies), if you want to go the extra mile on your engagement ring and pocket yourself some infinitely redeemable brownie points, then look no further.
You have the freedom to design your engagement ring at EC1.
They can and will hold your hand, until you are ready to pick up that heavy little jewellery box of emotions.
I gave them a tight brief, explaining the type of metal, jewel, shape, setting and personally of the ring I wanted.
They gave me technical advice, options on my criteria, a comprehensive explaination of the 4 c s and plenty of opportunity to review.
You don t have to have a concrete vision, as experts are on hand to decifer your rambling mind.
You can take friends in at any point and they are more often than not amenable to you dropping in at a moments notice.
Time wasn t a factor for me but obviously this takes longer than picking a ring off the shelf.
From start to finish it took 3 months, but this included some indecisiveness on my part.
I would suggest two months to be on the safe side or three months if you can t make your mind up.
Once I went ahead with the design, that sum was taken off of the final price.
E.C.ONE did not give a specific amount regarding their margin, but I did come away feeling like I got a great deal and more than a off-the shelf ring.
