Great group of people that work here, and there are a lot of great people who come and play poker, as well as some of the other table games.
Location is not the best, only comps for poker room are tea and coffee and beer is expensive. It's a good clean poker room with great staff. Just wish we had free drinks like other places.
Small, old crt tvs to watch Kentucky derby/other races. Couldn't even make out the results due to image burn. Beer and wine served downstairs, went to bar upstairs and was told they don't serve mixed drinks. What's the point? I'm not going back.
There is no poker around our area except the Greyhound Park here in Pensacola. It only allows three people to a table. Ebro is a good hour and half away and they have seven to a table. The place is in the middle of nowhere and is dated. (It is closed this weekend for remodeling). My husband likes it despite the drive and I like the breaded chicken wings in the restaurant. There is nothing around except a new Dollar General. I would recommend this place to play poker.
Love the dogs....I'm from Louisville...so this isn't Churchill downs. We go every year
Keith is doing a great job managing the Poker Room!
Fun experience. You can get within 10 yards of the track for closeup view. You can easily see how much greyhounds love to run. And they run with such grace and speed that you can't help but smile.
Food service was slow at concessions, but the betting staff was awesome!
This is the place my dad and I love to hang out and just chill. We are not serious wagers, so each of us can take $20 and split bets on dogs and enjoy the evening. The food is really good, ice cream is off the chain, and the atmosphere hasn't changed in 30 years. I really enjoy it here when we get to go. Been betting games with same lady for 15 years, Mrs. Gotshall. She is a sweetheart and very helpful with wagering questions.
I have been playing at ebro for sometime now. I took a long break and came back and there were some new management faces. Very unproffesional. They pick and choose who they want to be nice to and if you show any sign of being angry about loosing money they will kick you out permanatly with no explanation. Managment is aggressive and not friendly. I will never give this place a good review unless it changes some staff. On top of the staff issue there table games are rigged as ive tested it. They only pay out once a month kinda liked slots. Its sad. Although I shouldn't be gambling I shod however be allowed to be upset about constantly loosing. I slapped a chair it made a loud noise. Nothing was damaged and the next day I was aggressivly told to never come back. Good luck if you choose this place to play at.
Pretty fun, betting on dogs and hitting the poker tables.
Extremely well run poker room. Will definitely be back.
I may have lost some money at the poker tables but at least I won some of it back in the dogs. Overall had a great time.
This is a nice place to go and enjoy. They have dog races here which you can watch and you can bet on them as well. They have cheap beers here so I am assuming other alcohol they sell is cheap as well. They also have a poker room here which is good. 60 dollars is the minimum buy-in. They also have poker tournaments here and couple other games to play
Didn't care for the stairs, but the poker was great good players and I've played almost every poker room in Florida
I loved my experience the last few times Ive been. Id like to see them expand their table games as they lose their dog track. A nicer restaurant would be nice too.
Had a great time walked away with almost $200 my wife and kids had a blast
First time visiting a dog track and had an amazing time.
Ebro has a great atmosphere and great restaurant. But it needs to bring more gambling games after dog race closed... How about some casino with a nice bar!
Great place to watch grayhound racing. They have an interesting poker room too. We ate at the clubhouse restaurant overlooking the finish line. Food was good and reasonably priced. Hope they continue racing the dogs. What a shame the legislature allowed bullies to vote to remove racing. Such a shame.
Good place to play poker and bet on Dogs (for the time being) and horses!! No live Greyhound racing this year
Had a great time playing cards, even won some cash!
Live and telecast racing, poker tournaments, mid level cuisine. $1 beer and hotdogs Tue nights and family night on Friday.
The girls and I come here once a month to cut loose. Great spot.
Need more $5 tables but of Texas Golden but otherwise close and nice. Got there after dogs finished because the website did not say approximate finish time was 9 PM
Great fun place to bring family and friends. Great family food and entertainment.
Nice place to play poker. If you an amateur player dont play the room is full of excellent players that play all day every day. Dont be fooled I played for 6 hours and broke even only playing the nuts.
Strange environment. People are nice enough, but the way it's set up is different than other places I've visited. Definitely not Vegas..
Fun place ,good action in the poker room. Only serve beer though as it's some type of dry county so no liqueur.
Pretty good poker room. Mostly 1-2 NL going on the two days I went there, but the action was good. High hand promo was nice as someone won at least $100 every hour.
Max buy in for 1-2 is 400, max buy in for 1-3 is 2000.
Fun place , if you like hold em poker you'll like it
It was the last night of dog races there for good. I like Thoroughbred horse racing much better. But Ebro's Poker Room still be going strong.
Took 4 people that had never been to a dog track before. Everyone had a great time. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and our waitress was very good and helpful. They have 18 races starting at 6:30 pm.
I tried it for the experience, and that's my suggestion, try it for the experience
It was a fun evening. However, we waited over an hour and half for food. There was a problem.
It is what it is...poker room and dog track with great food at a good price.
Played poker and took some easy money off the locals. Pretty nice card room except for the fact that they rake so much out of each pot that it's best to hit and run. Win a few hundred fast and get out.
It's in sad condition. Had planned on having drinks and lunch but decided not to stay. We felt the Hypocrisy of having dog racing in Jacksonville on the telecast but prohibited in Ebro is BS!!
If you are in Panama City and want to play Texas Holden, this is the place. I ve been there about 25 times over a year and a half, and it s fun. It s not Las Vegas or Bellagio in Mississippi, but it s only a 30 minute drive. They have real cheap tournaments for like $60 a game and cash games for a $300 buy in.
Terrible track. All degenerates. Half day county also!!! Service was terrible!
Nice clean poker room and the dealers have great personalities. The servers leave a lot to be desired though. I go there just about every time I go to Panama City though.
Dog racing was great! Poker room is packed. Prime rib good to.
Not what I expected, also have to double check to insure the ticket you have is for the race you want.
This place is an amazing family experience where the kids will love watching the dogs run, or it is also a great place for the grown folks to enjoy I'm a great night out. Great food, cheap beer and an amazing poker room! All in 'll a awesome time
