Not for everyone. The doors don't have keys, the showers don't provide enough privacy, the beds creak. There's a hippie kind of atmosphere. The bar is nice, it has live music in the evenings.

Awesome, unique place with a nice artsy vibe. There is a lot going on like people doing their arts in the jard, fires and live music in the bar. If you are looking to save money by doing your own cooking, you should know that there is a kitchen but it's not really a communal kitchen as they use it to prepare group meals (which you can join for a small fee and if you prebook). Preparing your own little snacks should be fine though, just no huge cooking sessions I guess. Our yurt was clean and had a heater and the communal bathrooms were also clean.
Very nice place to stay staff so nice food is great. Although I don't speak French everyone so kindly to help me wIth everything directions and helping wIth cooking as well. Definitely give a visit here guys! U get to see whales on boat here as well very nice view on it and u have cover so won't be cold when you are out there. Amazing experience can't wait to go back again!
The negative reviews are laughable honestly. People pay 25$ a night and expect an hotel experience? If you want a pristine and calm place, don't bother, but otherwise it's a cool place with interesting people.
This a real "auberge de jeunesse" experience, and almost feels like a good old tavern sometimes. It has an extremely cozy atmosphere and we found the staff to be really nice. The 5$ breakfasts are also a very nice option.
The main hall is noisy and lively, but we found the rooms level to be pretty calm. Only complaint would be that the right side bed in room J cracks REALLY bad.
Pretty ok but not a place for people who love stay in luxury .
Relaxed hippie vibe. Friendly service. Room was comfortable but not so secure.
Friendly staff, they let us eat there with our own food! Communal kitchen where you can heat stuff, cook food, make coffee, tea, hot chocolate... Super cozy place, recommend it to everyone in the area!
The staff was friendly and the rooms, shower facilities and kitchen were decently clean, typical youth hostel level. However, it is a very noisy hostel, so if you want to enjoy a quiet time, this is not your best bet. You also can't lock the door to the room, so better carry all your valuables with you.
Nice hostel in a beautiful place (tadoussac). Good location, good price. All you can expect from a hostel.
