May I come back to Easton college tomorrow morning please.
Very disorganised. We spent the first year preparing for the next level, to then be told on the last week of college that the next level will not be running to our surprise so we had to organise further educatuon last minute ourselves. Pastoral care was good however, tutors would complain about the job to students during lesson time which we found unprofessional and time wasting. Hopefully the merge will mean improvements because it offers a wide range of career choices that aren't found in conventional colleges.
My son practices football here over the winter or if the pitches have been water logged. Some great facilities I didn't even know existed. Tennis courts, AstroTurf pitches, great views and stables.
I clean the windows for the college and have been doing so for about 5 years. The campus has grown but the great family of staff have always made me welcome making it a pleasure to work here
This is my first year and I love it im looking forward to doing another year
Great place for future students looking to progress into agriculture, horticulture, animal care etc.
Haven t really had the best time at this place, especially when the college forced me onto a level 2 Horticulture course as I had a low place in the grading system
A lot of the teachers especially on my course are sort of average and can t take note that I struggle
as I am a novice in a lot of areas.
The new principal is a bit meh(not very good) when it comes to controlling cuts and getting rid off my favourite lunchtime food of walls pastries, not to mention the new logo looks more like something made in minecraft.
Doing my 2nd year and looking forward to do 2 more great place to study
Not going to lie, i did learn somethings and teachers are nice, but! Theres a lot of issues here... for example...
I went to Otley Campus, in my 1st year out tutor had favouritism and did not accept relationships, if there was relationships we had to be secret even on breaks and I was very upset by the care of the animals too.
2nd year... some of my teachers left due to amount of students there was, not a single teacher chased up where these missing students were and didnt try to pursuade them to come ro class but knowing the fact that there was just me in the class and tutor left was unfair for me as a student for wanting to learn.
3rd year was a good year but we had no dogs to groom and i did the same groom throughout he whole year and being asked as students to find dogs was very unprofessional, we are here to learn and was not easy for those who dont live nearby, for example I live in another county.
As a college i believe the tutors needs to start teaching and organise better.
this college is rubbish the teachers will take sides if you get bullied , kick you out if you have fits and high anxiety and dont do anything to help you with your problems and i got kicked off my course and put on a rubbish one because i was ill. I've spoke to student services about my problems and all i got told was to go away. Ive been bullied at this college and told my tutor about it and all she did was take sides with the bully and do nothing to help me. i have high anxiety and this college does nothing to help just make it more bad. so pls do not go to this college at all costs
Visited as part of open day, staff very friendly and site well presented
A beautiful campus, which i studied at for 2 years. Got exactly where i want to be by studying my diploma here. Staff were amazing, nothing was ever a problem. You get out what you put in. After failing a-levels, i am now going on to study veterinary medicine, which I put down to my lecturers and lots of practical experience within my course.
I studied Land-based engineering here in 2010...
at the time the training was excellent.
I'm sure its just a rough patch the college is going through.
Easton college, first day just visiting, the staff was very rude and unwelcoming.
