My daughter has been receiving speech and OT services at Easterseals Bloomington for nearly 8 years and have been nothing but happy there. I don t think the previous poster really understand how long it takes to get a diagnosis, run insurance, and then to find an open therapist (especially if they are looking for an after school time or a time in the afternoon to accommodate a parents work schedule.) this processes does take time I can remember it well. It was worth the wait. And it will take time no matter where you are- eapically in the state of Illinois right now. My daughter has accomplished countless milestones because of Easterseals and hard work. We are truly blessed to have them in our area and in Peoria. My daughter is a happier and more outgoing child now. Her therapy team CARES about HER, SHE IS not just a client. OVER the course of almost 8 years they have become family. Terrible!!!!!!! Waited a year to get in,,,, got a diagnosis,,,, now waiting 30 days to have the whole diagnosis on paper.... and also on a waiting list for therapy opportunities.... what s the point??????
They are all great and amazingly nice. My daughter loves them as do I.
