I worked there for about 4 years and yes for them 4 years I made the same pay but don the owner was a real good guy he would help you if you could ever get to talk to him. But alot of the time the dispatch would not let you I worked there from 2003 to 2007 and alot of stuff has changed I guess/ I hope. But there was a dispatch in there that would talk to you like dirt but I am sure that don't happen anymore. Like I said east west is a good company to work for its a small company but a good company that is if don is still there. So if you are just starting out try east west.and you will get the experience you need to make it in this business I am still driving a truck but I still think about east west and I miss it.

It used to be a good company. They stopped hauling wine and now make you drive team with people who really wasn't trained that well. But I will say this. They will give you a chance. That's bout the only good thing i can say about this company now. No hard feelings towards anyone there. However i did miss the old ways and dispatchers Cliff and Jim god rest his soul. I haven't worked there in over a yr now. Maybe it has gotten better. If they went back to bringing wine back from California and letting you drive solo with the pay they use to pay. I would happily go back.

East west refused to pay me because they claim my lead co-driver didn't turn in the paperwork from our trip. It was my first and only trip with the company. Then they smear my hire right saying that I abandoned the truck with keys and paperwork in truck. Thanks East west for the experience.
