What a fun surprise during our bike ride. The late harvest was delicious.
I came in yesterday for the Rose. Wow! So delicious. This blend is very tart and does not disappoint. Beautiful scenery and nice staff.
One of the best experiences at a New England vineyard; and for no outstanding reason. It was just effortless, not rushed, great wines (especially the whites, all aged in Stainless) and a multi-faceted venue that can provide a great experience to varied tastes. We had a tasting and then finished with a glass of our favorite white with cheese and crackers. Perfect late summer day, great attendants and an exquisite selection of wines. Will be back with friends!
Great wines this far north. Highly recommend stopping in for a tasting. Very pleasantly surprised.
Beautiful winery in Vermont. Service was very welcoming and friendly. Their social distancing practices allowed us to enjoy their wine tasting offerings while feeling safe.
Beautiful location, but the pours for the (paid) tasting were really small (1-2 sips), and the food was unexpectedly expensive. They advertise a cheese and meat plate, but what is not as well advertised is that you're actually buying full blocks of cheese / packages of meat / boxes of crackers. Very friendly service, and the wines were ok (nothing special).
My fave place in the Summer to dance in the grass to great local bands!
We enjoyed our bottles, what a great place and the views are nice too.
Loved the wine. You get to try 10 different wines for $8. Fox Hill Maple was a delicious white wine and the service was great!
At $8 to sample 8 wines, you can t go wrong. Many of their grapes are unique to Vermont and the region. For those like myself who like dry wines, the Baco Noir was probably the best bet here. The white wines were a bit too sweet for my taste, but probably okay if you like semi-dry wines. The staff are also friendly and tasting tables are at a reasonable distance for those looking for a socially distanced tasting. The grounds are also beautiful, with expansive views of the mountains and Lake Champlain. Highly recommend!
Very friendly, outstanding wine, good company. Makes any person feel at home
Has a beautiful outdoor area. Service is excellent. It seems as though it is a place for people who are on their bikes more than just people who stopped by in their cars.
Great friendly service and some of the best white wines I have had.
Went for one of their Thursday outdoor concerts. The music was good, weather couldn't have been nicer, and the wine was great ($14 per bottle and I would highly recommend their rose). Security was on hand to prevent folks from getting out of hand and there were a lot of kids playing. Definitely a family event that's worth the trip. Local, affordable food vendors on hand (pizza, BBQ and ice cream).
Beautiful spot. Not as nice as per Covid but they are doing their best
For a great Red...The Marquette. For a great White... Snow White. The service was friendly. I recommend stopping there!
We attended their Summer music event for the first time today and we will be back. Great fun, good music, food trucks and wine by the bottle at a very reasonable price.
Wonderful evening listening to beautiful music by friends and drinking local beer. Weather could have been more cooperative but this is Vermont. Wear your raincoat and enjoy!
A gorgeous setting for some amazing wine. If you are looking for some amazing wine and hospitality Snow Farm is the place to go.
Great summer concerts! Classic summer Vermont atmosphere.
Went to the concert series on Thursday night. Great venue, good food, and good music. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thursday music was awesome. Holly Mugford and the band is awesome!
Delightful place, enjoyed the wines. Will definitely go back
Always great. Love the wines, love the concert series.
Stopped by this winery Sunday, and loved the experience. Paige was a wonderful bartender and the lady outside was too. Did not get her name. Even the fellow customers were kind.
I had went to 2 other wineries that day, and this one was the best.
Great place to taste some wine and enjoy the outdoor seating. Wine tastings are very affordable ($5 tastings) and quite tasty, lots to choose from. I especially liked the dessert wines. They don't serve food per se, but you can purchase the parts of a cheese board and assemble them yourself (crackers, cheese, nuts) so that was a nice option. Would definitely return.
Went to Snow Farm Vineyard as a spur of the moment outing and had a blast. Lovely wine tasting, staff is educated on the wine, decent pourings, beautiful location. I left with a couple bottles and couldn't wait to share!
Great people and awesome experience! Worth the drive!!
My husband and I came here after hours yesterday, the owner was incredible and let us in for a wine tasting!! Delicious wines, you get 10 wines for $8 and free glasses (what a deal!!) we dined on gluten free cookies and bought the Ruby Red bottle. We enjoyed the bottle at our airbnb later that night while listening to a live band and playing go fish. We highly recommend!
Not enough vendors, wine could be better, rude people
We found this place starting at the saturday farmers market then ended up going to the winery. Lori was the best! The day was beatiful, the wine was lovely, the service was excellent! we had nowhere to be so we took our time. we watched as a wedding was being set up then watched the guest trickle in. The corn holes kept the gentlemen busy for a bit as the ladies relaxed. I left with 3 bottles! Thank you for a happy afternoon.
I recommend the house red! Nice atmosphere... A little bit of Tuscany right here in Vermont.
Great tasting room. We got a flight of 8 glasses and sat outside with cheese, sausage and crackers and had a wonderful time tasting the wines. We ended up purchasing 6 bottles. The staff was knowledgeable and everyone was wearing masks.
The staff is great and very nice. Tasted and bought some wines!
My girlfriend and I had a lovely time at this place. The Riesling was my favorite, but we took home a bottle of the rose red as well. The woman at the bar told us quite a bit about the wines and answered our questions about the intriguing birdhouse forest down the street. We'll visit again and keep our eyes open for their wines in stores.
Fun tasting experience. The wine was good. Great prices and you are right next to the vines. Definitely worth a visit.
Beautiful place with good wines and an amazing story (ask the family-owners about its history). Had a huge family gathering there and it went great. Made us feel right at home, if home was a huge farm that made wine. Thanks!
Had a great time at the first of the year free concert. Jimmy T. Thurston was entertaining! The wine was good, as was the food! Company was great!!!
Unbelievable! Bought a bottle of wine cheese and crackers took the stroll up the hill to enjoy it with the gorgeous view. They gave us a little basket napkin cutting board and knife. Very friendly and informative.
Julie is an awesome tour guide, is very engaging and fun to be with.
we recently purchased the Snow White and really like it. I'm back to see if I can reorder more.
I did not rate this trip that I remember. Definitely not a three star. We actually had a delightful visit and bought two bottles of wine and cheese and bread to enjoy with it.
The staff was personable and very knowledgeable. Wine selection good and if you want wines made from grapes at the 45th parallel, this as close as it gets. Highly recommend.
Totally unexpected greatness! From an experienced well traveled wine aficionado, I only stopped here because it was an excuse to continue the beautiful bike ride down the Island line trail from Burlington. I've been to Tuscany, northern California and many places in between. Had never had Vermont wines, expected this small farm town to have mediocre at best wines. I was blown away by the atmosphere, views, tasting room manager Chante...even the owner Julie stopped her tractor to come introduce herself. But the wines! The varieties, many I have never heard of, were all pleasantly delectable!! The sheer number of varietals grown on property and produced was outstanding for such a modest property. The best part? The late harvest ANYTHING. I'm not normally a sweet drinker but these were mind blowing. Didn't ask if there's a club but I'm planning on ordering a mixed case so my husband can sample the unexpected goodness. Keep up the good work...unique and fun names for the wines and descriptions too.
Lovely variety of wines and pleasant, relaxed atmosphere.
Don t be fooled by the somewhat dingey photos on Google - this place is beautiful! Classy inside and out with great quality wine and a view worth a thousand words. Can t wait to go back.
Lovely time sampling 11 wines, and the view is great too!
Great wine, super good time listening to the music and enjoying the outdoors.
