I always find the reception staff pleasant and helpful, yes the phones are busy, but there is the option for a callback. I recently needed to speak to a doctor and was offered a same day appointment. The doctors always treat my husband and I with kindness respect - I can t fault the practice.

I have been with this Dr's surgery for 18 years and have always found them very helpful and efficient. My family and I have always been treated with respect and kindness. Any health problems have been dealt with quickly.
Many thanks to East Quay and their great staff.

Had blood samples taken here, the nurse didn't wear gloves or disinfect the area beforehand, which I found unprofessional. Also phoned to ask for a hormone level test, to be told 'no such test exists', when I know full well they do. Don't really like that I have to go into detail to as why I would like to make an appointment to the receptionist either. Took 4 months for me to get an appointment for a simple smear test. Don't recommend this GP at all.

I rarely use doctors services, and after looking at the recent reviews I was quite reluctant. I can say I am very impressed by the service I recieved. The call back service was excellent, and negates the need to hang on the the phone to an obviously pressured reception service. The call was returned within 30 minutes, and following that I was reffered to a GP, who again called within a few hours.
I was advised to come to the surgery, which upon arrival, I was seen within 10 minutes, had my prescription another 10 minutes later. Overall, I very impressed how I was dealt with, excellent service.

DISGRACEFULLY DEALT WITH.

DISGRACEFULLY DEALT WITH.

I had a total hip replacement 4 weeks ago, the operation went well and I am in recovery.
my surgical wound has been weeping in a small area, and I was concerned that there may be an infection?.
I was not sure if I could be treated the same day and
did not make an appointment.
Upon arrival i waited in a queue to speak to the receptionist ,when it was my turn I explained I had not made an appointment, and attempted to give details of my condition.
within seconds I was told that the receptionist had other people to speak to and that was that!!..I left the surgery very angry.
I then was taken to bridgwater hospital who dealt with my condition, when I told the staff there what had happened they found it hard to believe how I had been treated.
To summarise when I attended the surgery I was not sure if I could be treated the same day?,but for maybe one minute???, as I am a British citizen it would be nice to have made an appointment?,so I could return shortly after,[maybe the next day to see the practice nurse] that I would of found acceptable.
Unfortunately I was not given the opportunity, sorry you have to treat
the public with a bit of respect?.
I do realise there is a lot of pressure on staff, but please just think before you speak to someone without knowing the condition they are in.
I would appreciate a reply and shall be contacting the manager .
regards Bryan
