I left with tons of stops all over me ride. They didn't even lift the rugs when vacuuming the car. Found dirt not dust still on the bumper of the car that could have easily been wiped clean whole drying they just didn't care. Would go back here .. waste of money .
Love the parks. Lots of good walking trails. Even see horses on the trial. Multi use. Bicycling, jogging, walking and horseback riding. At lake Chabot can go on a boat or go fishing from the shore
Laziest workers on earth. They took the entire week off due to high winds then finally the day the website says they are open, THEY STILL DONT OPEN!!!!
While I understand the need to protect wildlife in our parks, what EBRPD did was unacceptable. For those of us involved with TNR, EBRPD did the unthinkable. Instead of trying to work with colony caretakers to try to relocate well managed feral cats, they brutally shot and killed them. These cats were spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and well cared for. I'm sure if given the option between trying to trap and remove the cats or let them get shot, the caretakers would have worked harder at re-trapping and relocating the cats. This was very poorly managed and is animal cruelty. We must be able to work together towards humane solutions for these cats, that did not ask to be homeless, and protecting wildlife.
So much to do here. Great mountain biking on vast fire roads. Nothing steep, great for old guys like me to get in shape.
Beautiful place with mesmerizing view of lake from the top. The park offers trails for trek and boating in the lake. There are benches placed at very short distances where visitors can sit back and relax. There are certain designated area which is equipped with barbeque and water as well.
You will have to pay a fee of $2 for pets and $5 for car parking.
Lake Chabot Park is beautiful. Awesome lake , boat rentals , canoe rentals . Many picnic areas w/ bbq.and miles of paved trails. plenty of grass and rest areas.
Sunsets a photographers dream. Waterfowl nestling in the rushes. Bike and walking trails. Fitness circuit. Childrens park. Well lit afterdark. Picnic areas. What's not to love?
Are you kidding! EBRPD is awesome! I am long term (30+ years) user! I feel privileged to have access.
