There aren't enough words to describe how unprofessional and disorganized this place is. For them to be apart of a federally funded program is beyond absurd. My child care was cancelled for failing to come in and report that I had a new postion even though I notified my case worker by phone. I was also penalized and suspened from applying for new services for a period of 6 months, and to top it all offthey didn't call and tell me the daycare did. Not to mention the place changes workers like clock work without even telling anyone. My advice to anyone looking for services, be very careful, be sure to keep documents, record everything and document times as well as names.

I just had a really bad experience with the personal working there because they are there to help you not to be rude and having this bad attitude towards you, like we are there not because we want to is because we need to come on they are getting paid so they should do their work better.
This place is the worst busines I have encountered. Most of the employeees treat their clients like they don't exist. The waiting is longer than normal job hours. The service sucks. I can go on, and on about the service, moreover, don't expect a return call. That will not happen

Lakeisha Young has repeatedly denied my services for childcare based upon non legitimate cause. I was told during my last meeting with this person on 02/14/2018 that my care was denied based upon the fact that "I did not make enough money to receive assistance." I do not see how this statement can be viewed as orthodox to the process of determination. As clearly, a person who is applying for assistance, would have a reduced income, and need for this service offered. I was also told by Ms. Young that she believed my career was a hobby. I have went to school 4 years for a Bachelor of Science in Cyeberspace Security,and I file my taxes with the IRS as self employed. I take business ethics very seriously. I see Ms. Young as a very unprofessional person, who does not have the ability to hold her tongue on opinions, which are not needed for my service. In November of 2017, I had reported Ms. Young for lack of professional communication. We had been emailing back and forth about my daughter's transfer of care from a different county; at which point she refused to respond in a timely manner. The transfer process literally takes under an hour, and Ms. Young stretched it out for a month, leaving me to pay out of pocket for childcare and not be able to use their service. Once my transfer was finally processed, I was never allotted any back pay for their wrongful mistake pertaining to the paperwork. I also found out that Ms. Young was not reprimanded in any way shape or form for defaulting on her duties. Upon researching with the general public, I have found that Ms. Young has taken these actions with several other parents, with no reprimand of her actions. This is a federally funded program, and I am almost certain that I am not paying taxes for this woman to make adjustments whenever she feels ready to. If this person refuses to carry out their job in a professional manner, then I do not believe they meet the qualifications to handle the paperwork that is being appointed to their title.
Needs to do more checking these daycare centers unannounced you will be surprised what goes on in them when they are not checked involving people children anytime a child cries to not stay trust and believe something isn't right.
You are at their mercy. They have no oversight from DCF like you would think. They can waste your time and lie to you and you are helpless. Best thing to do is keep going in and pestering them politely (dont call they WONT answer) maybe file a grievance report in the office which more than likely the person you have the grievance with will stand there and read it...awk. Pro tip: stop having so many kids beyond your means and looking at them like meal tickets you are abusing the system. I saw a woman in there for their services 2 kids and pregnant. Its ridiculous.
Ive never had a problem there. Ive always gone in with all documentation needed and scanned all my paperwork myself in the back when a recertification was needed. The longest appointment is the first initial one. But as long as you bring everything needed on the check list and keep up with your recertifications, you shouldnt have a problem.
I love all the counselors there, the receptionist Linda is very rude and I honestly think a Kiosk can do a better job. Other than her I really have a great experience every time.
