Exceptional Training!

Small classroom size for plenty of individual interaction with fun and in depth practical training exercises. Very knowledgeable instructors as well as staff. Everyone was friendly and welcoming, I was not embarrassed to ask questions. Very accommodating academy and I will definitely continue to receive my training here!

Just completed the 44E Bail Enforcement certification course. I cannot say enough about Mark Dionne and the professional staff. From the very beginning, the class was professionally taught. Mark brought in a professional group to provide more in depth to the practical application phase of the training. If you are looking for a DCJS certification, look no further than Eagle Security Solutions, they will get it done!

I just graduated the private investigator course this week. The insuructors were very attentive and helped with any questions you make have. I loved the surveillance part of the instructions and hope to work with Mark and erin again soon. Eagle security is a A+ in my book. Will be taking more classes from them.

I just finished the private investigator class on Sunday and it was excellent! In a seemingly male dominant industry, I was exceptionally pleased by Eagle Security Solution's and their diverse workforce. I was not prepared for the in depth, educational, and informative curriculum in their entry level Private Investigation Course. The instructor supplied real world experience to highlight every point covered in the training and I left with exceptional knowledge and tools as it applied to this career path. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to know more about this industry and/or to hone their developing skill sets.

I took the entry level Private Investigator course not knowing exactly what to expect and was pleasantly surprised with how enjoyable it was. The instructors were very knowledgeable, patient and personable and made the class fun and very entertaining. I will definitely be continuing my education with them in the future!

I had a really great experience with the training academy! Mark keeps the class fun and has tons of hands on experience in all aspects of the courses he teaches. I'd highly recommend ESS for the PPS training course.

I took the Entry Level Private Investigator course at Eagle Security Solutions. I did not a background in law enforcement or the security sector but I felt very at ease with the curriculum. The instructor, Mark Dionne made me feel very confident with the skills and abilities I had retained at the end of the course.

I would recommend this class to anyone without hesitation that has an interest about being a Private Investigator.

I have always been interested in investigation. I looked into the requirements for getting my PI license and did my own research into the area schools. I checked websites, reviews and did phone interviews. When I had completed my inquiries I chose to go with Eagle Security Solutions in Chesapeake. I live in Va Beach and chose Eagle for a number of reasons.
#1. Evening classes. I really did not want to take a weeks vacation in order to complete this requirement. I was able to integrate this class schedule into my pre-existing work/life schedule without sacrificing my leave time.
#2. Prompt response and follow through. I contacted several schools, several ways over many days and Eagle was friendly and prompt in answering all my questions. I have taken and completed the classes and one school has not gotten back to me yet.
#3. The real deal. Although I was a complete novice going into this training I was hopeful that I would learn how to become a good private investigator. This is not a Pay-to-Stay class that will hand you a credential once the charge goes through. This is a comprehensive, detailed and rigorous course. It is an adult learner class for adult learners.
There is a great deal that goes along with becoming a PI in the Commonwealth. Erin and Mark are experts in all things DCJS related. They provided instruction on getting an account, logging in, registration, finger printing, all separate from the 60+ hrs or coursework AND field training that they provide.
On day one we are told what is expected and then we are off and running. There is reading and lecture and research and reporting. There is also, most importantly, real-life, in the field training and surveillance. No other school in the area offers this amount, variety of or level of In-the-field experience. We are taught by hearing, watching, touching and doing. Mark and Erin do a fantastic job as instructors, leaders and mentors both in the classroom and out in the field. You must be organized and self-driven. No one is going to baby you or remind you when assignments are due. It is a current class for today s climate which means that technology is involved. You should have access to the internet and WIFI. Your smartphone will be your lifeline and there will be apps that you ll have to use throughout the class for communications, surveillance, documentation and tracking. You will have to have space on your phone to download the apps and the data to run them. You will have to be a fairly good multi-tasker and attention to detail will be pivotal. Don t stress because Mark and Erin will be there every step along the way.
Mark is highly experienced and multi-disciplined. He is a tough but fair leader. Initially he does appear outwardly intimidating but in reality is a patient and understanding leader. It seems the goal of ESS is to prepare us for what lies ahead in this field and to provide a quality product. I have no regrets and would recommend Eagle Security Solutions Inc. one hundred times over. If you are thinking about signing up and just move forward; just do it. You ll be so glad that you did.

Just graduated the 44E class this last weekend, great class, friendly staff, able to work around the typical military schedule, plus they know how to communicate in military, and civilian terms. Very responsive to questions, and very thorough answers. Well worth the money.

To be a competent investigator, a person needs to be surprisingly well-rounded and balanced. The course went through not only all of the aspects which a Professional Investigator must be familiar with, but also had intense practical training.

The training here at Eagle Security Solutions was very hands on and out in the field , conducting surveillance on locations and individuals like it was a real job. I plan to take the Bail Enforcement course and many others in the future with them. If you are looking to get into the private security services field, I can highly recommend this company. I would recommend these course to anyone that is serious about changing their career, or need to find one. THIS IS NOT FOR THE WEAK HEARTED TYPE.

Always a problem when time to take the class. They took my money for two classes and never conducted the class. A lot of run around. The dates change and they don't conduct the class if they don't have enough people to take the class. Had to take my two classes elsewhere. There are many more facilities that offer the classes.

Took the concealed class and it was amazing! Mark was a great instructor and had a great sense of humor and was very professional at the same time... If you want to feel comfortable in a class setting check this place out you will NOT be disappointed

Update on my class: Just finished with the Private Investigators class OE2 with flying colors. Don't get me wrong, it was intense but extremely fun and informational. Enjoyed the guest speaker and especially the Thursday night and Saturday surveillance. The on hands and in the field training really gives you an idea of what to expect. I highly recommend taking your classes at Eagle Security Solutions, Inc. We have such a great teacher, Mark Dionne and the wonderful Erin Dionne, who helps with whatever you need. They are both always available whenever you need Mark or Erin. Can't wait for my next class. Hope you at least check out the classes they offer.

I attended their session for PI. The instructors are very knowledgeable and they do not hesitate to answer your questions whenever they may arise. I also liked the fact that they had practical factors to go alongside the in classroom training. Overall you will get every bit of what you paid for. On one last note if the owner came in to teach us that to me says a lot about a company again I can not emphasize enough on how professional these gentleman were and continued to be. Just some food for thought I drove all the way down from Northern VA to get this training that speaks volumes in itself there are several schools up their but I went with EAGLE and damn proud about it.

I truly enjoyed the classes I attended. In the beginning I thought that the classes will get me bored since I have been in the law enforcement field for over 25 years. I was wrong. I always believed that no matter how much you know, you can always learn something. I definitely learned a lot. The classes were administered professionally. Mark was a thorough instructor, he doesn't just rush through the material but explained patiently. When a legal question was posed, he would look it up and get the students engaged with the result of the research. As a retired Marine with over 20 years in service I've had the opportunity to train all over the world and by far ESS is some of the best training I have ever received. This place is amazing! Mark is the best instructor you can have. He made sure the class understood everything, took time out to answer so many questions and mostly would answer all my questions without me asking. He also took time out to show us exactly how to to grip a weapon, how to stance and showed us many different videos that helped us understand even more than what we already did! Erin is badass! I don't even know where to begin.. The Eagle Security Solutions Academy has to be the best academy I have ever attended. I have been in Law enforcement for years and retired I have been in security for even longer and I was seeking something bigger and more. With that said I have attended The police academy an academy for certain security divisions and Mark Dionne and his Crew are so professional, personable and a great company and team all around. Mark has taught me so many things that I could even use If I went back to Law enforcement but the Class I took was for Private Investigator. I plan on taking other courses from him as well. As a retired Virginia Beach Fire Investigator I recently had to retake the Private Detective class as I am coming back into the work force. What a great class, not a give me by any means. You will be tasked with real world work from exceptional instructors with great experience. This was a real eye opener that teaches the latest up to date technology giving you the tools you will need for success. Excellent learning environment.

Absolutely loved their training courses. The owner is a people person to the students. He immediately makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. I took the Private Investigator Entry level class with this company in November last year. The instructors are very professional and they were well informed within the private investigation realm as far as applicable laws, different specialties within the private investigation arena, and so much more. I also had the opportunity to take it because of the class hours, which were very convenient for me, for I currently am active duty military, so this class did not interfere with any of my duties. I highly recommend this class to anyone looking to break into private investigation within the state of Virginia.

I recently took the 02E Private Investigator class here, and I have nothing but good things to say. They treated me like family right off the bat and worked with me whenever I needed help or advice. They continue to do so now, even now that the class is over. They actually care.

The primary instructor for the class is also the owner of ESS - Mark, a veteran of the U.S. Army. He is extremely knowledgeable about not just private investigations, but also various other DCJS-related fields, the security field as a whole (home, private, personal, etc.), as well as the training and requirements involved. If he doesn't know the answer, he knows how to find the answer.

His employees, such as T.J., are also extremely knowledgeable and took part in assisting Mark with the class in several ways. One of those ways is something unique about the class offered here. Most places seem to just give you a written test and send you on your way. At ESS, while there is a written test, you also get actual field experience in the form of practical tests. You get to practice and develop your surveillance skills, bounce ideas off of people who have actually done the job, and review each night so that by the time the class ends you should have an understanding of what to do, and what not to do. They are there to help you, they will answer any questions you may have, and they strive to ensure that you are off to a good start on your path to becoming a private investigator. Taking this class at ESS will earn you far more than just a certificate and registration.

Most recently I hired Eagle Security Solutions to find out one specific piece of information, whether or not the person in question was ever in the US Navy. After giving them $100.00, I was given a report with very average, typical information on it regarding the subject. This was of no help, and no reference was made in the report as to his being or not being in the US Navy. After two week of supposedly searching, using all their "advanced" methods and numerous unanswered calls to their investigator, they could not answer that one single question; was the subject in question ever in the US Navy??????

I don't know about you, but I think that is Very poor investigating.

Be careful of Eagle Security Solutions. You will pay, but you will not get for what you are paying!

TJ was a wonderful instructor for the concealed carry two-hour course. Though the place sorta looked scary when you first arrive, (it's in a motel that is rented out for other businesses.) the welcome feeling is nice and makes you feel comfortable. The course was clear, the instruction was great, and I would recommend for anyone wanting to take a course.

I took the DCJS 02E Private Investigator Course with Eagle Security Solutions and must say, I was delightfully surprised by the extent of their knowledge and the level of professionalism that they exuded. The course was roughly 80% class time and 20% live action practicals which were fun and very informative. The owner, Mark, was very hands on and thorough in his examination and assessment of the abilities of our class and is clearly vastly knowledgeable in all security fields. I would recommend the Eagle to anyone even remotely interested in the security field.

First off, if you have any interest in Investigative work, or even have an inquisitive mind/personality, the 02E Private Investigator Certification course is for you! Originally, I was going to take a week long class elsewhere (after reading an Ad on craigslist), but I am so glad I did my "due diligence" and researched this Company. A bit about the class; it is a 2 week, 60 hour (nights and weekends) certification course, and it is fun, exciting and challenging in every way. The instructors, Mark and TJ are extremely knowledgeable in their fields and brought their own personality to each day they taught. The thing I most enjoyed about the class was the wealth of information I got the first week, in the form of books and binders. I also enjoyed the more hands on surveillance practicals we had the second week (actually come to think of it, I enjoyed that just as much as the first week). Coming from a legal background, and working the field for about 15 years I was surprised that I was continually learning about laws and regulations and how it pertains to certain types of investigations. All in all, it was an excellent course and I have already seen a few opportunities arise that have the Legal and Investigative components that I'm looking for in my career. I hope their classes are better than their customer service. Contacted them 6 days ago with an urgent matter. Called and only one person could talk to me about private investigator services and he was in class all day. Was told they could help me out and they haven't even bothered getting back to me. Take my advice and find a professional.

I loved the class and even though it was "death by power point", Mark Dionne made the class amazing and I learned so much and look forward to getting the rest of my courses done through them. I just completed the 44E Bail Enforcement Agent class and my firearms endorsement class. I am also signed up for the private investigator and armed security classes and i cannot wait to go back ! All of the instructors were very friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a ton from this class, the instructors were very patient and answered any questions that were asked. The class was very laid back , it was like learning from a friend, while at the same time maintaining a level of professionalism. I haven't had any experience with any other schools in the area but I don't see how you could beat these guys.

Though I was somewhat cautious to go inside at first, it really was okay. The location seems a bit odd but their business looks good and professional. I took the PPS class with Mark at ESS and it was a great experience. I had called Mark just the week before class started and he got me into the class no problem. The entry level 02E PI class was recommended to me buy a co-worker. My exerpience in the class was very positive experience and an awesome introduction to private investigations. Practical with examples, exercises and plenty of opportunity to develop knowledge about the profession.

I just graduated from the Private Investigator course taught by instructor and owner Mark Dionne. It was an intense 60 hr course that included classroom instruction, real life practicals, a book report, research project, and a final report along with a final exam. Again it s intense but well worth it! Mark is tough love type instructor but takes his time to make sure you understand the material and his staff is extremely friendly and helpful with great feedback.
