A cute place with a normal pool and a saltwater pool of I wasn't mistaken, a pretty beach side during low tide and a regular sized seawater pool. They also offer boat rides. A tiny detail is that the lights at the room I've been was orange, only white light was the bathroom, the rest was orange-y, it looked cozy with the orange-ish lighting and would be nice for pics but just feels a bit... very bad exp. the food is not good. We order crispy pata not to eat. the hardness of the flesh is like rubber. we called manager. he came and he said crispy pata daw yun our order was just lacking in cooking. just cook again. when we say you can't really eat and the hardness of the meat you try to eat it is taken and just removed from the bill. hire a good cook to make your food delicious.

I learned to dive there and the PADI was great. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The room was nice but something was eating the wood. We dot a small pile of wood dust on our bed ever day but never saw any bugs. I would go back without hesitation. The food was great, the service was great, the diving was great. Loved every minute of it.

Arrived at night and finding the entrance is tricky. The going in is really a scary ride! Service is great, people are courteous and really helpful. Unfortunately, we only stayed for the night! Lol!

Our experience at the Eagle's Point was a great experience but also, I would like to cite some suggestions that may help.

The place was not so accessible. It would be recommended for you to go by your car. Then, there was a van that would take you to the place itself. The road was too steep and seems like a roller coaster ride but nothing to worry that they have very good drivers.

As soon as you arrive, the accommodating receptionists will give complimentary drinks and confirm your booking. It was too kind of them to let us check in early because we were 2 hours ahead of our check in time.

The place was super spacious and can accommodate hundreds of people. It was also peaceful and quiet, a very good escape from the city I guess. During our stay, we were lucky that the people on the resort was at the lowest numbers.

You have to walk to go the rooms. Luckily, ours wasn't to far from the lobby because the rooms lack telephone and wifi. You have to walk thru the reception if you need anything, I am not quite sure if this applies to all. Because they have modern accomodations also. I love the sea view of our accommodation, it also has a balcony where we could stay and enjoy the view at the same time. The rooms where also clean and well maintained. They also provide hand out guides if we want to avail their diving lessons, massage, island hopping, kayak etc.

The resort has 2 large pools, diving area but you cannot swim by their beach. You still have to go to the sombrero island (private island) if you want to experience the beach. Sadly, for us couple, it didn't work because we don't want to shoulder the full cost of the boat, which was good for 8-10 persons already.

Meanwhile, I really enjoy the food trip that we had at Eagle's point. The taste and presentation of the food was amazing but a little costly. They also offer foods that they could cook on the island

They also have this store if you forgot to bring your swim wear.

Overall, the experience was great and pleasing. Thank you!

The Eagle Point Resort was absolutely the best vacation we have ever had! Eagle Point itself is unbelievably beautiful with amazing views everywhere it absolutely exceeded our expectations. Everything from the food to the service was 5 stars! The amenities, activities/excursions, and spa were also top-notch. It was everything you could imagine a luxurious, exotic vacation to be. I do not have one negative comment about the resort or our trip. We absolutely would love to go back to Eagle Point Resort one day

I highly recommend this resort for those who want to have a cozy weekend near the beach. The resort provided our room with TV, towels, beddings, even extra mattresses and a fridge with bottled watter inside. The room has an AC that helps us to have a good night sleep. The rcomfort room is huge and has hot and cold shower. They serve buffet for breakfast which was included in your room package. Rooms with balcony/terrace are available so you can enjoy the view at your own private space. For the adventure seekers, water activities are available at separate cost. The beach is clean and well-maintained.

We ended up staying in the deluxe room which was very nice with great view of the ocean. It was a cottage room located right by the sea sitting in the forest hillside making for a very calm and relaxing stay with scenery.

The staff were very nice when greeting us. The food was good and we were very impressed with the breakfast buffet that was included in the room purchase.

We enjoyed kayaking, swimming with the baby sharks, snorkeling for several hours and walking the boardwalk along side the ocean. Very relaxing. Wish we had more time and could stay longer to do some of the other things this place had to offer. We had a great relaxing stay here!

Getting there is like a roller coaster ride on a road that looked spooky at night. At the lobby, you'll be greeted by Elmer the cockatoo in a big cage. They also serve refreshing iced tea at the lobby as you check in. Cottages are really clean and cozy. Sunset is really nice. Sepoc Beach and swimming with baby sharks are their finest attractions. Place is quiet and peaceful. I went there to relax and I was relaxed. Thank you Eagle Point

The best resort ever! The staff is wonderful, the facilities are great and the activities is just wow!!, I highly recommending this resort they made our trip so special, we did tour at Sepoc Beach it was amazing so beautiful place and been served by best people in the resort. They took good care of us from the minute we arrived, the manager is so thoughtful all the time, making sure that we are having fun and we don't miss anything. We had a private dinner at the pool side it was the most romantic place on earth we were in shock in the beautiful view of the ocean right in front of us! Also other activities weren't less than perfect! Wish to be their again!

By far the best service and food in town. We go to Anilao a couple times a month, and have tried several other resorts...nothing can compete with EAGLE POINT. Rooms: The rooms are very basic but clean enough. The sheets are clean, the mattress is comfy, the air conditioning works great. The rooms are provided with bottled water (good to stay hydrated). The bathrooms are small and functional but a bit dated, no real complaints b/c there was running water, the toilet flushed just fine, and the shower had a heating unit for those who have to have hot showers. I personally like cold showers on hot sticky days but I tested it out and hot water works great with fairly decent water pressure.
Customer Service: I didn't have to ask for too much but, the employees were very pleasant and accomodating. I met the general manager of the resort, he was very hospitable and made me feel at home.

Good service everyone is very friendly and polite...

Good service everyone is very friendly and polite. Lots of smiles!
Nice rooms if a little worn.
Great views of the ocean with superior sunsets!
Great diving right off the point!
Several different pools with a slide and waterfalls.
Good restaurant. Very nice buffet on Wed. night and reasonably priced. However, our bottle of cheap Chilean wine was expensive! (2,000p or $40)

Negatives
Rough walking from room to restaurant/main lodge. I do not recommend for elderly or disabled. Steeply pitched stairs and many uneven surfaces.
Restaurant is open air which is nice if it is not hot!!
Lots of trash on the beach and in some other areas. I really wish they would clean this up so it doesn t wash back into the water.
There are no other food vendors around so you can only choose from what they have here.
No free wifi in the rooms and the WiFi you pay for (150p) is not reliable.
No cell service in our room.
Lots of noisy boat traffic in the morning!

I needed a quick getaway and this place was just perfect for me. This hidden paradise is just 2 hours away from manila. It s quiet and the view and sunsets are stunning. The resort has an exclusive island for guests with white sandy beach. The food is so yummy and tge serving size is good for sharing. The room is airconditioned and spacious enough for 5, complete with the necessities that you need- towels, hot water and toiletries. Beds and pillows are soft and comfortable to sleep in. They also have a TV in the room. The staff are well trained, friendly and very accomodating.

A good 3 star hotel. Do NOT expect a sandy beach, underwater is all very sharp rocks and sea urchins, you can rent aquashoes. Same with Sepoc island beach which is 15 min boat ride. Stayed 3 days, overall is ok. Food is average. Staff are friendly. Hopefully you stay far from Karaoke place, otherwise it can get very noisy, luckily we stayed in a cottage closer to the pool and the restaurant area. Snorkelling is ok, u can see fish 3 meters from the shore

It's our third time going to this resort. Our last one was years ago (2012). We had a lot of good memories, would've gave a 4 out of 5 before. But after that it's all downhill.

The rates have fairly increased through the years, but that is still manageable. The rooms have changed from natural tropical colors to minimalist white and light, new tiles and a much smaller closet. The bathroom is good; heater works and no drainage problems. They have wifi, but it's not free; except if in the restaurant!

The facilities are the same. Pools, scuba diving, billiards and ping-pong. I'm not very demanding with these, but the pools could use a bit of cleaning every now and then. The beach is accessed through boat for a fee. It is a mystery to me that other reviews here say they weren't properly told about this, but we read it clearly in the website.

Unfortunately, our worst experience has to be in the resort's restaurant. The prices are overpriced, in the same time of only fair to mediocre quality. Additionally not all choices are always available, it varies per day. The free breakfast is just disappointing. The food has noticeably changed for worse, and very inconsistent with servings. At one point we had to keep calling the waiters for A LOT of mistakes of wrong servings, undercooked food, and even some sides promised in their menu that weren't served at all; we had to remind them to serve those. The staff could also use some training, for they clearly isolate us on one end of the restaurant, so no one can take our requests (probably because they are afraid to serve us already lol).

Overall I hate seeing this place go down from good to barely satisfactory. I hope management does the necessary changes around here. This is a childhood place for me, and now it's nothing more but another bland resort in Batangas.

They have no Beach! You have to pay for 2500 to get to sepoc beach! The pools are very dirty! We had power outages left and right. We went from Manila to batangas just to swim in a dirty pool! If I knew this was the case i wouldnt have come. I will never stay at this place again. So disappointing. The only good thing may be the clear water so good for diving maybe. I saw alot of disappointed customers at the resort.

Our first visit to Anilao and we did not know what to expect. Eagle Point Resort was perfect. It has everything you need there and you would never have to leave. When we got a bit acclimated and wanted to wander we found interesting things to do inside the resort. The room was spotless, roomy, ocean view. The only negative is that this is a huge property. Checking in and out was chaotic. We are already talking about a return trip and would definitely go back there!

They charge 6,800 a night BUT don't give free wifi in the room. If you ask for free wifi in your room they will slap you with ANOTHER fee. The power was constantly off, but there was no storm when we were there. The bathroom had serious sewage problems and there was a horrible stench so you had to keep the bathroom shut so the entire room wouldn't smell like sewage. We asked for a discount because of this disgusting problem, but none given, really pathetic. Many other annoyances also, for the price it's a joke. Teh prices at their restaurant were also RIDICULOUS and most of what we were trying to order wasn't even available, yet not shown on the menu as unavailable, very misleading. Also, NO BEACH on the resort! They're deceiving here also because you have to pay another 2,400 just to ride their boat that will take you to their beach location, horrible horrible horrible! We will definitely return to Mabini because of the nice snorkeling, but not to this resort.

Eagle Point Resort was the nicest resort we have ever stayed at. Got there early morning and staff was so helpful and got us all settled in no time. View from our second floor balcony was beautiful. Loved our cozy two queen beds deluxe room. Food at the resto was good especially the buffet breakfast. Loved their baby black tip sharks!! They are not scary at all. Can't wait to go back.

I went with my family in the month of may of the year 2016. We heard of this place from a friend who said they went here for a company outing and was pretty okay.

First of, there was no beach on the actual resort. You have to avail a boat to go to the island with a beach. The beach was great and beautiful. The service, however, was pretty questionable. They made a mistake with our order and had to charge us extra because of their mistake. We complied anyway but the price of that extra dish was just way too much.

Second, the room type we requested was unavailable so we were moved to a different room. The room was great but it was super inconvenient because of the location.

Third, no water. We couldn't even take a dump in our own room. They had us go to a really far cabin to shower. When we got there, my companion was taking a bath when the water ran out. The rest of us couldn't take a bath till much later.

Fourth, uhg power out.

Fifth, I am really sorry this is more personal, the food wasn't exactly wow. Didn't like even the bread and butter. The table are arrangements weren't practical. Pretty but not practical. Servicd was uhg.

Good points, the staff was friendly, the view was great, rooms and facilities look great. Just really needs a lot of improvements.

If these issues aren't answered. Nope, not going back here.

Exceptional!!

Awesome place and we will always be grateful to our friend to find this gem of resort.

From the moment we arrived and to be greeted with big smiles, the snorkeling, meeting the baby sharks and relaxing and exploring the Sepoc Island all we can say is TOTALLY AMAZING!!

I wont forget the taste of the "HUMBA" and "ADOBONG PUSIT" that melt on our mouth and its DELICIOUS!

The hotel itself has excellent rooms.

In a word our experience has been "EXCEPTIONAL". Eagle Point Resort should be highly recommended and FIRST resort to be on your list.

3* Its a 2* Resort. Disappointed : High Expectatio...

3* Its a 2* Resort. Disappointed : High Expectations as this resort is tucked away down the smallest track. First impressions are Wow as you can see the ocean lapping up on the rocks, two beautiful pools you can relax in. And you want to think you have found paradise.

The pictures are no longer upto date.

The Front of house staff are pleasant and always polite, and if it wasn't for there input this would be a 2 Star Resort, thats how fine the line is between a Good Stay and a bad experience.

A lot is tired and needs TLC, the images from Facebook and the website are not what its like now, the photos that can be found are from days of good. The railings are rusty, and a general feeling of things are falling apart. The pool wasn't clear but foggy. The slide as fun as it was, had paint coming away, so the first slide was one of anticipation windering if my feet would survive intact. They did and we had a second go.

Broken tiles and aged broken bits behind a palm tree within the pool area.

The Cottage is very basic.
Aircon (will write more), fridge thats so loud when running has to be turned off to sleep. Only 2 small bottles of complementary water, no kettle, or snacks as complementary (Disappointing).

The bathroom is ok, and probably the nicest part of the cottage, however the water pressure was terrible and no more than i was begining to expect. Few tiny spiders around.

The Air-conditioned Unit in the room is dangerous and so noisy, the only way to sleep is to turn it off. Its old, there is no off switch so you have to stand on a chair to unplug it from the wall. The front grill is only just hanging on and its just unsafe. Its also an old air-conditioned unit, its the biggest let down with the room. This is Cottage 6 so i cant speak for the others.

No Food
Your not permitted to bring your own food into the complex, security see to that. There is a little snack shop within.

Drinks
Are reasonable priced, but they were out of stock of a few items. I dont think you can pay cash, im sure its all billed to your room.

Evening meal
Everyone in our Party of 10 had no complaints about the evening meals. We were hoping for a BBQ but it was only from the menu only.

Breakfast : is basic but with a multi national client base it does ok. Limit choice to what you like, but enough to start the day. I would struggle to keep eating my limited options for a full week.

Its past its best, it really does need that Tender loving Care and my guess is that its loyal returning customers from days of good that keep this place ticking over. I would not return to this place, until reviews began to show change and modernisation and a little face lift. I wish i could have written a review that matched my expectations but i can't.

No Beach : Its rocky and akward to get into the sea, you need to be able bodied as you have to go down make shift steps.

White Sands : Yes a boat trip away at about 2,500 Php its on another island all together.

Animals In Cages : A couple of eagles and other bords also. Them being there i guess gives you the tropical sounds with the ocean so close.

This resort has the potential to be paradise but falls short as its the attention to detail it can't deliver on. Its a 3 star resort but its going in the wrong direction to a 2 star which is a real shame, it has the views for free, but thats not all this place should rest on.

Im struggling between 3 and 2 stars for my review, im going to give only 3 stars as im not sure to be fair what i should expect from a Fillipino 3 star resort. If this was in the uk it would be 2 stars.

This resort is amazing!! We had a de luxe cottage room which was just beautiful. It was clean and spacious. All the staff is friendly and very accommodating. We were treated extremely well. We did a number of activities here, I have always been afraid of the water, but I was so confident with Kuya Manny as our guide that I went snorkelling and kayaking!!! Hooray!! The food is superb and plentiful. We are already planning our trip back.

This place is ok but bad business.. they don't allow your mobile cell phone internet to work in that area and then they charge you for WI fi in your room. But free wi fi in the lobby. And they charge you more money to take you to the beach when you are paying for a resort on the beach. Feels like a big scam... The shuttle needed to get to the hotel is a scam also and a hassle.. and they over charge for everything.. The drinks and food is not good.. they charge for goggles for one day so you should be able to keep them for a 24 hour period.. we rented them at 2 pm and when we asked about the rental period they told us if we keep them until the next day at 2 pm that we will be charged for another day of rental. 2 days charged for one day of use... dishonest hotel..

Lovely resort with great accommodations. Staff are friendly, food is good. You're not allowed to bring food in and to get to the resort takes a bit of an adventure down the mountain.

Highly recommend for a short or long term stay. 2 pools, wonderfully clean rooms. Yes there are ants here and there but thats nature.

Excursions include a boat ride to a nearby island and scuba diving.

The staff at Eagle Point Beach and Dive Resort mak...

The staff at Eagle Point Beach and Dive Resort makes this place an exceptional resort to visit. At every turn they were beyond friendly and helpful. The front desk made check in and out flawlessly simple, and they assisted with some unusual needs, the wait staff in the restaurant were attentive and friendly, the guards at the parking entrance were helpful and the dive shop attendant was great.

When I first arrived I was a bit dismayed by the scary drive from the main road to the parking area. If you are driving yourself to the resort I suggest you have good tires and brakes. And don't arrive at night. I was also surprised you have to take a shuttle from the parking lot to the resort. But it was only a few minute wait for the shuttle even though we were the only guests to arrive at that moment.

The rooms themselves are a bit small and outdated, but they're clean, the bed is comfortable, the view is nice and the shower is large.

They have three pools, two fresh water, one on an upper level with a slide that children can enjoy from the upper level to the lower level. There's also a salt water pool that I'm told guests do use but it looks kind of daunting with a school of 5 large jack fish that seem to own the pool.

The restaurant is quite large with a beautiful 180 degree view of the sea. The menu has quite a few choices and most of the dishes are very good. I recommend the salmon with garlic and butter. The stuffed pusit was also quite good. I would avoid the filet mignon and pizza though. The filet is local beef, very tough and nothing like a filet mignon should be. The pizza is just some toppings cooked on some kind of bread, not close to a pizza crust and there is no pizza sauce under the toppings.

I'm not a diver so I can't comment on the diving in the area but I did talk to a couple that had just come back from a dive and they were quite impressed. I did take the boat to an island for snorkeling. That was very pleasant. The beach is white sand but you must wear dive boots into the water. The bottom, as soon as you enter, is broken coral. The coral formations are not too impressive. Nothing like what you find in Hawaii or other areas of the Philippines but there are enough to make snorkeling entertaining. You will see enough colorful fish to make it worthwhile while.

You rent the boat to the island for 2700 pesos. I assume if more than one group goes they can share the expense. The boat stays on the island while you're there and leaves when you want. I think we stayed on the island for about four hours. If you expect to stay for lunch you order from the restaurant and they bring it out to the island to grill it.

All in all it was a good time at the resort and I can't praise the staff enough.

This resort has many beautiful things. There is a nice Cockatoo in the front.
In the restaurant, you can see a nice wooden interior inside and ocean view outside. I had breakfast at there, and they have various kind of dishes, and they taste good. I loved the journey to get to the island. I fished on the boat and it was really fun. And also, the food in the island restaurant was delicious and the beach was very beautiful. Water is so clear and many creatures were in there.
The only disappointing thing is that the way to go down to resort. It is so much inclined that it might be uncomfortable for kids or elderly people.
But it is still good place and I want to visit here next time again.

The best thing about it is that the view is great, but the facilities may not be too good. The pillow in the room was too hard. Although there was a telephone in the room but there was no wiring, it was necessary to go to the lobby counter to find the waiter. The pool water was very turbid, and the dishes on the table next to it were kept for 2 days and 1 night. Breakfast is not bad.

The place is a definition of a get away cause it literally is quite far from the city and is located at the edge of a mountain. A Bring-Your-Own vehicle would really be an advantage if in case you need to run emergency errands. Though at the mid of your way through the steep and narrow road of the forest, you would be asked to leave your vehicle on a parking space provided and you would be transferred to their service vehicle which would bring you to the resort.
The place is very relaxing; has good views and not too populated with tourist. Their swimming pool is clean and has a mini slide. You also have an alternative to ride a boat in order to enjoy the beach in an island 20 to 30 minutes away from the resort. They offer great package deals for sports activities.

We visited Eagle Point and from the moment we arrived the staff made us feel at home. We were shown to our rooms and it was found to be big and clean and had both a bit of character and a modern touch. The Sepoc beach that we had visited via 20-minute boat ride was stone throw away. It s absolutely breathtaking and beautiful. The food was great and portions sizes were not disappointing. Great view of the ocean right in front of our room verandah. Very quiet surroundings. Excellent and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Highly recommended!!

Had a very good stay in this place. Eagle Point Resort is too big to be crowded unlike nearby resorts in Anilao. It has 3 swimming pools to accommodate every guests who loves to dip! My favorite is the salt-water reef pool where you can swim together with their sharks, yes sharks but baby sharks. Their staff are very kind and attentive. Aside from bonding with friends this is also a perfect place for a family get together. We are already planning on our next visit. Much recommended!!

Everything about this place was perfect! It's totally worth it because of the amazing accommodation and services. The staff is amazing, definitely one of the best in the Philippines. The rooms are beautiful and extremely clean, and the hotel grounds are very in touch with nature. It isn't uncommon to see rare birds or rare species of aquatic life right in front of the resort. I love how committed Eagle Point Resort s are towards sustainability, and you really see it based on how intact the ecosystem. This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed in with my family!!

Last year when we got here, the place was beautiful as well as the pool. The ambiance was great and our room is overlooking at the sea. It is not that easy to access, when you get to park your car, it doesn't mean that you're already there. You will go down the hill by a car, the road is risky as it has so many twists and turns. We let it go. But what still made me mad was when we were so hungry that we didn't have merienda and dinner, we're asking and ordering food at 6:50 PM BUT THEY SAID THAT THE RESTAURANT WAS ALREADY CLOSED. THEY DIDN'T EVEN BOTHER TO TELL US THAT IT IS NOT 24/7. We were so hungry that all we did was ask for 1 cup of rice but the girl in the front desk has an atittude. Her face was grumpy and told us why didnt we order before 6pm. Someone who looks like a manager or head said that to a server that they should post a reminder about the operation time of the restaurant.

My first time to encounter a resort hotel that the restaurant only function till 6pm knowing that the restaurant is the main source of income aside from the accommodation.

This is a perfect place to relax, unwind and forget the busy and stressful moments in your life.

Just a 3 hour ride from manila, you will arrive in a paradise that is a perfect getaway to feel free from anything. From the staff of the resort, they are very friendly and very accommodating, up to the facilities that is so clean and of course the food that will surely satisfy the taste you want and you need, it is really good and delicious. All the money you paid is worthy every centavo of it and the ambiance of the resort itself is so calming and relaxing together with the chirp of the birds and the waves of the ocean and it is not complete your stay cation at EAGLE POINT RESORT if you did not experience the vibes of so called SEPOC BEACH that is 15-20 minutes boat ride from the main resort, this beach is so majestic and trully a paradise, it has a white fine sand beach that will blow your eyes and body away together with its blue water. and of course after a long and tiring day at sepoc , the sunset will set your mood into an amazing beacause of its beauty. This place is really a commendable one and the overall experience was great and i will surely be back at this resort :)

the food and our room accommodation is good. the scene in our veranda are relaxing.. but we are expecting to see the pictures posted in their website. the resort doesn't have any sands..if you want to experience real beach you need to avail their boat riding going to their beach that is 15- 20 mins away from the resort. its very mossy.. you cant swim with the baby sharks.we've been here last may 10 2016. it is not what we are expecting.. this is the completely opposite of the pictures posted in their website.i will not recommend it..NEVER TO COME BACK!!!
