Great service, and fantastic food. Beef wellington was truly amazing. Girlfriend had pork chops, which I'm usually not a big fan of, but those were something else. The history of the building was very interesting as well; it was fun to imagine people dining there throughout all of the different time periods. Everything we had was superb; can't wait to go back.

I picked up two fish fry last night for my husband and I dinner; we love we love fish fry Fridays. This was the worse fish fry I have ever had. The fish was watery, the mashed potatoes was hard and cold (I had ordered fries). The coleslaw was definitely missing something. The only good thing was the roll. We probably won't be eating there again. Well, my husband and I went back to Eagle House. This time our dinner was delicious. The decor in this place is gorgeous and rich. Thank you Tricia for the gift card, your restaurant is truly amazing!

The staff was sincerely the most obliging and kind individuals ever.
The hostess (purple glasses) was not just accommodating by directing my mom and her friends to the handicap entrance, she literally came to the car and helped and guided our friend to the table. The attention to 3 "older women" out for a special lunch was gracious and natural, with wonderful humor and understanding.
The food was outstanding. The drinks stiff and there was want for nothing.
An establishment that has endured for decades can tend to ride on it's past laurels, but the Eagle House has not lost a single step. Many thanks.

Went last light for a fish fry with my wife. We found the menu has changed and the prices big time. We left there still hungry and $52.00 lighter and we had no drinks. No wonder the place wasn t full of customers. It s a ripoff and not that good. Go to the field stone on transit for a good fish fry and you won t leave there hungry and you will still have money in the wallet.

Food was great! Best french onion soup ever!!

Food was great! Best french onion soup ever!!
What's up with the bland burger buns they bring out in a basket before your meal? Thought that was strange..for the menu prices they should at least give out better quality homemade bread, maybe with some oil and vinegar. Just a suggestion. Also our waitress was very short with us and not the friendliest. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, the food quality is there. We would go again overall.

We had a awesome experience!! We went for our anniversary dinner and the food was amazing as it melted in your mouth, had salad with dinner and a appetizer. The prices were just right for what we ordered. The wait staff was very nice and the atmosphere was very homey as the lights were dim and gave the sense of a romantic dinner night. I will recommend this establishment to all my friends and family!! Good job, keep up the great work!!!

I can't imagine how many times I have driven by the Eagle House, but it's been a lot. Well we finally had the chance to go for an 80th birthday party. It came highly recommended and did not disappoint! The Eagle House has a proud history dating back to the 1800's. Much of it's charm remains, as it is warm and cozy (especially by the fireplace). The portions were great, the food was reasonable and staff were pleasant. We had a party of 9 and they were able to accommodate our request for a private room on the 2nd floor. It was perfect for the occasion! It may not be sleek and modern, but that is part of the charm. It's lasted this long for a reason...

Not bad, not bad at all. The food isn t cheap, but it s one of the few places a short drive from me that has British food like Beef Wellington and rarebit (Welsh cheese sauce) Parker s is some distance away. The ambience of the place, with its very old-school vibe and classy interior decor, is also a draw. The service is also very genial and accommodating, definitely a plus. A solid recommendation!
