Great experience all around. I had a few quotes to get my driveway completely redone, EJ Paving wasn't the cheapest but they also want the most expensive.
When Steve came out to do the quote he took his time explaining the process, measuring and making sure he had the scope of the project well documented.
It took 1 year between the quote and actually getting the work done. Steve was responsive every time I reached out to him.
The crew that came out to do the work were friendly, respectful of my property, and they worked efficiently and I had the new driveway in 2 days.
The driveway looks fantastic! I can't say enough to recommend EJ Paving.

I was very pleased with how my driveway was done. The service was exceptional. I received a prompt estimate from Steve Kupiec and he returned my calls quickly. Everyone was very professional and the repaving was well supervised. Several of my neighbors were so impressed that they asked me for information to re pave their driveways. I strongly recommend this company.

From the very beginning starting with the Office & Sales staff all the way to the workers who were in charge of the paving process, the level of professionalism and service was top notch. EJ Paving just wrapped up paving my long driveway which included at tight circle in the front of my house and I am thrilled with the end result. The overall experience and workmanship was truly outstanding. EJ Paving was professional and responsive from the first call to the conclusion of the project. Not to mention, their pricing was either inline or better than their competitors. I highly recommend this company!

These guys were perfect from start to finish. First, the job (double driveway) was a few thousand cheaper than 5 other companies in the area (Wakefield). They really have paving down to a science which now I see is why they can do such a good job at a great price. One crew does set up (marking underground lines, site check, etc), a few days later another crew flattens the jobsite, lays down the base, etc, then a final crew comes a few days later to pave. They have many great workers, a knowledgeable foreman and the best equipment. They must do several driveways per day. They sloped it perfectly and matched it up with my garage and retaining wall perfectly. The base was thick and so is the top coat. We are thrilled with our new driveway. Would highly recommend!

Follow up to my original review. Here it is several months later and I STILL have not received the paper estimate for a driveway. I no longer want one, but that is beside the point at this time I've been told at least 20 times that the estimate is on it's way. The verbal estimate was $35,000 for a driveway that's 800 square feet. A person named Andrea replied back about this over-inflated amount and accused ME of providing the wrong area and TOLD me that the area I needed paved was 2600 square feet. First, *I* didn't tell them anything. They came out and measured the area themselves. Secondly, I'm 100% positive that my house is no longer than 40 feet long and we don't need a whole parking lot for our TWO vehicles. It's unbelievable that they're still going to insist on estimating $35,000 for a driveway that goes to Canada. Apparently they STILL don't believe that they could have possibly made a measurement mistake.
I urge everyone to read the review below. I would be amazed if this type of thing hasn't happened with anyone else. Such poor business practice.

They came out a week after the promised date to look at my land. They couldn't even keep their original appointment. Then they didn't get the estimate to us when they said they would. It took 4 weeks and at least 35 calls back and forth to even get a spoken quote over the phone. Then it was 4 times the cost of the highest of 6 other paving companies. Apparently they thought that we were only looking at them because they came highly recommended by a friend, so they thought they could string us along as much as they want and overcharge us as much as they want. When I showed my friend my phone records with them, and how many times they didn't call back or keep their promises, they also vowed not only to never use them again, but to never recommend them ever again either. They don't return calls, they don't keep their appointments or their promises and they are way overpriced. Not just disappointed. Disgusted. No idea how well they do at paving, but their customer service leaves much to be desired. it should not have been that difficult to give a quote on a simple driveway.

Excellent job on our driveway. Very professional one-day job. Cleaned up after themselves and we are very happy with the end results.

I can't say enough good about EJ Paving. I'm on the board of trustees for our condo association. They paved our entire six-building condo complex. Everything about EJ was great. From the reasonable pricing, to the grading and prep work, to the finish line striping. We were very pleased with the results. They were very pleasant and courteous. Very highly recommended!

EJ Paving was helping a neighbor who couldn't say enough good things. I asked if they had a little extra mix to fill a pot hole next to my house, they were happy to help out. I asked the owner if he had time to look at my commercial parking lot. I had a competitive quote the next day and a commitment to complete the job the next Monday and Tuesday.

EJ Paving showed up early got all the site work done in less than a day, paying close attention to the grade and drainage. Next morning binder and top coat. The owner was onsite both days running equipment and keeping a close on eye on things.

As a business owner I appreciate a vendor that is professional, honest and fulfills a contract on time and on budget. I have recommended EJ Paving to several of my customers trusting Tom and his guys will take care of my customers the way he took care of me.

Recently I had an old driveway ripped up and replaced by EJ Paving.CO. I even had a walkway put in. I went from having the worst looking driveway in the neighborhood to the nicest. I recently was referred to E.J. Paving for a badly needed driveway at my home. I contacted them and 2 other firms. E.J Paving picked up the phone on the first call and went over all that was to be done in detail and stated they would be over to provide a firm estimate. (The other 2 did call back over the next few days.) E.J. came over the next day and left the estimate in the door. They followed up that evening & answered all questions. I eventually received the other quotes and decided E.J. was the best BASED upon their response time, the value and detail they offered and the trust that the owner Tom and his forman Steve imparted to us.

Bottom line we agreed, and they were more than competive with the price. They said they would be able to do within a time frame that was more than acceptable. They called and was actually able to do it sooner as they were in the area. They did it all the same day.

WOW, is all I can say - They exceeded my highest expectations as paving a driveway is not an exciting event in my life..But the quality of the crews, the equipment and the on site supervisors were exceptional - They had as many people here as if they were paving Rt 93 and it definately came out perfect. They even moved a sprinkler head so we could widen the drive a bit. Absolutely accomadating on everything.

Don't even think of using anyone else - Tom, Steven and the crew are without doubt all you will ever need ..THANKS E.J. PAVING...

Tom and crew were awesome to work with. My patio was constructed using street print and ideal blocks for the edging. Street print is so much easier and economical than using traditional patio blocks. Tom and his crew know how to think out of the box and came up with great ideas to make our backyard a beautiful outdoor space. My neighbors loved it so much they had a street print patio done as well and were extremely happy with the results and service. If you are a residential customer, I would highly recommend EJ Paving. They came to my house and created an oversize driveway exactly how I asked them. It was done professionally and efficiently. They did a fantastic job and I would highly recommend them for any paving work that you my require!

Exceptional work. Professional and polite crew. Competitive pricing. Can't ask for much more than that. I have a background in road design. All the questions you ask will be answered honestly and effectively. And just to make sure everything goes smoothly the company owner is on site to oversee. This driveway will look great and perform for a long time to come.

update - 10/2020 : It is now 2 years since the driveway was put in. It still looks perfect. The previous driveway had some issues with settling and I was nervous because the new one changed the grade and covered a new section. But it has not shifted a fraction of an inch. Additionally, over the past 2 years, I've noticed that they did a great job pitching the driveway ever so slightly that it drains perfectly during rain and melting snow. I would use them again!

Repaired and extended our driveway. Best price of three bids and only operation that was quick to respond for each preliminary aspect - initial call back, site visit, and estimate delivery. Also INSTALLED ON-TIME and completed ON-TIME. EJ Paving even took the time to carefully lift the sprinklers and lay them aside for easier repair. Had absolutely none of the typical issues homeowners expect to encounter - they were punctual, professional, and needed no chasing or followup of any sort.There was literally not a single issue to address. Calls are returned promptly or (suspend DISbelief) actually PICKED UP. Don't bother shopping for asphalt work - you're wasting your time or wasting your money. EJ Paving is a good spend with no extra work required. NO, we have no professional or personal connection - just very happy to have found a company that respects its customers' time and the investment they're making.

These guys are the only outfit that recognized upfront that my existing flat driveway had drainage issues, and they had a plan to fix it. All the other guys came out and only wanted to pave. EJ for the paving AND drainage problem done, and for a very reasonable price. Professional, respectful, experienced. The driveway looks great, no more standing pools of water! We couldn't be happier.

Recently had my driveway completely redone by E.J. Paving. Ripped up the old drive, expanded to include a wide cutout that runs along the side of the garage and gives us the best home basketball court in town. Regraded the whole driveway, compacted, laid down crushed gravel, compacted, and then gave us two layers of asphalt. Looks great, kids love the space, and parking is no longer an issue. Crews worked fast, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. Highly recommended.

Update: So, two years later my driveway work still looks brand new, no defects of any kind. Neighbors that had work done after mine with another vendor have already had patch work done to repair holes / cracks. Very happy with the durability so far.

I couldn't be happier with my new driveway and with the experience of working with E.J. Paving. I was impressed every step of the way from my initial contact with Steve Kupiac to the amazing crew that prepped and paved my driveway. As a single mom of two young adults with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, I was concerned about cost, convenience and also about being able to get my two sons in their power wheelchairs in and out of the house while the driveway was being paved and setting. Steve and his entire crew went out of their way to help me. One of the guys used his chop saw to modify a metal ramp I had so that it would fit in my sliding glass doors. I had 18 manual wheelchairs stored on my pavement in the back of my garage to be donated to Joni and Friends Wheels for the World and Steve moved them all for me. Every time I called him with a question or a concern, Steve called me right back. We built our home 15 years ago so I have dealt with a lot of contractors but never have I dealt with a company so professional and compassionate. I highly recommend E.J. Paving!!!
