Well organised with the sociol distancing and keep visitors safe

This place has been beloved for centuries, not for it's style or looks but because it is "our cathedral". Evert cathedral can say that but each is different because the people who love it share history and relationship.

So, if you come, don't just look. Sit a while, feel and be here in a listening stillness. Every cathedral will sing its own silent song if you give the time to listen. Durham particularly is not a place for hurry.

The most gorgeous cathedral. I real jewel in the North Easts crown. I am incredibly bias as I studied Theology next door and frequented the Cathedral libraries when I was a student. Its well worth a visit. I go every year :)

Massive structure. Great example of architectural masterpiece. A bit heavy but inside you can easily play golf.I'm impressed. Worth having a good look.

Truly beautiful, with lots of high quality modern artwork along with the heritage of art and design typical of Anglican cathedrals. Cafe is nice and the food is tasty. Recommend evensong for an interesting experience.

Breathtaking inside. The architecture was amazing. It is a huge, imposing, beautiful building. Staff and volunteers were helpful and forthcoming. So much history, so much to see. Unmissable.
