Came here as a bridesmaid for my friend's wedding in January. The bridal suite was very small, hardly room for the bride in her dress, let alone with us in there to help her. The steak was way too rare. The women's bathroom literally had black mold on the baseboards. Disgusting. I also found it awkward, as a part of the wedding party, to enter and leave the ceremony into the virtual golfing room and then walk through the public restaurant to get to the banquet room.
Otherwise, everything else was okay. Drinks were strong, but a little pricey, hall was pretty, staff was organized, and the wedding coordinator (Christian McCroy) was great.

Nice course the GPS carts are inaccurate by more than 10 yards. The carts also stop running when they believe you are off the course and then they only go in reverse. So dumb. This happened even if you were not far off the cart path. Pain in the ass. But also kinda funny.

Let's just say the bar was fantastic the service was impeccable.... Unfortunately the Pro Shop was understaffed and we didn't get in for half an hour cuz the doors were locked doesn't make sense.... If you want to deliver food out on the course don't have the Pro Shop do it.

Heaven on earth! The fairways are like soft, high grade carpets- it s challenging and fun course! Elevation changes ,ocean aromas and beautifully manicured grounds make this place to go for golf in Maine!
The staff, from the pro shop and kitchen to the accounting lady Karen and to Dominic the owner - these people are kind!
If golf course were families in the Game of thrones this place would be the Starks with the wolf sigil and all!

Course layout and conditions were great but no slow play enforcement on a Saturday will keep me from ever coming back. 5+ hour round because of the group in front that could have let our 3some play through anytime after the first 3 holes. The group even had the audacity to get drinks before putting on a par 3 after we waited on the box for them to tee off.

Attended the Bob Marley show and it was hilarious. The seating was too tight for adults. Great view of the stage and the comedians. Two beers cost $15.00. one can one bottle. OUCH! Waited 15 minutes to get them. Lots of parking. Great staff. Easy entrance. Good night.

We are novice golfers, but got a 30 minute golf pro lesson from Michael (Gibby) just before hitting the course and he got us in the game. The course is very challenging, but so beautiful and well maintained. The after 2pm prices make this very reasonable for the casual golfer and the staff at Dunegrass are very inviting to newcomers.

I went to Dunegrass to check out the grounds and ballroom for a wedding I am planning. The place is beautiful! But more importantly, I met with Christian McCroy, the coordinator who was wonderful. Through phone conversations and emails, before I met with him he had worked out three different options with food choices and prices. Made it amazingly easy! And fabulous suggestions! The owner of the Dunegrass is also amazing! Highly recommend!

We went to see a Bob Marley (comedian) show here. We were in the large function room. It was nice. We ordered Gin and Tonics and the pretzel bites. Drinks were mixed well (you could taste the gin). I'd go back.

I never played here before until today. My T time was at 934. Needles to say, from hole number one we had to wait a while to T off. There were three groups waiting to T off on the same whole on number two. We finally got to whole eight and decided it s going too slow and asked for a rain check for another day. The guy in the pro shop said he can t control player play so he couldn t give me one. No safety precautions for Covid 19 either. Bad experience and will never be back. Course is in great shape but customer service is terrible. A word of advice, stagger T times currently.

Challenging layout and greens. Sand was nice and fluffy. Other course conditions were just ok (early September). Too many split fairways requiring layups off the tee for my taste. No views to speak of. The golf was a little overpriced, but lunch was fantastic.

Dunegrass Country Club is a beautiful Club. The wedding organizer Emily did a superb job. The DJ cranked out the tunes and everybody had a great time.

However if I was to hold a wedding outside where the ceremony was I would ensure that the Grounds was completely raked and clear of all branches and acorn toppings. Also for the bride to walk down the path of a dirt road I would probably have some kind of carpet runner so her dress would not get caught in dirt and twigs

I've been playing the course for the past couple of years. The course is always in great shape. it is challenging and the greens are fast during peak season. The bunkers (too many to count), are strategically placed so you have to think about the placement of each shot. The breeze off the ocean makes it one of the cooler courses to play during the 80 and 90 degree days.

The staff is amazingly friendly. I have never left the clubhouse without someone telling me to "go have fun".

The staff at the restaurant are equally friendly and everything I've ordered there has been great.

To me, this is one of the "must play" courses in Southern Maine.

The whole place in shambles. Golf course has been torn up for a new housing development. Food at club is almost not bad, that is being generous in the review. Slow service, child size portions. There are better places for a round of golf and drinks.

Great golf course. They keep it in great condition and the staff is friendly. We (40 guys) come up from Connecticut once a year for a tournament in June, and the folks at Dunegrass treat us like gold!

Just to level set your expectations. This is one of two courses in and around a very popular summer vacation town, so they don't have to try very hard to get business. Rounds are on the high side as expected, but the condition and services of the course don't live up to the price. The course has the potential to be extremely good if the club started to care more about the condition and services they provide.

First Thoughts: The club house is beautiful, practice green in great shape and gps carts are a great addition.

Driving range: Dilapidated and not in great shape but it gets the job done for a quick warm up session.

Course: Overall I would say the course is in pretty good shape, with good fairways, layout but it's mid June and the greens are already in rough shape. There were 3/4 greens that are in awful shape and a number of tee boxes that are not even and in interesting positions.

Services: I played on Memorial Day weekend and on Fathers Day and was very disappointed by the services. The water coolers were empty, the beer cart didn't appear to be going around and there is no grill or food at the turn. All of this is unacceptable with greens fees in this range.

Overdevelopment along the fairways and inadequate ...

Overdevelopment along the fairways and inadequate course drainage are two of the bigger problems our group saw at Dunegrass GC. For example, pull your drive slightly on the first hole and you could easily break someone's window along a line of condos guarding the fairway. Bunkers and some greens could use improvement, but otherwise the course was in decent shape and there were some interesting holes. Overall consensus though in our group . . just not a great value for the price paid.
