They are a vary good place if your children have problems

Northwood Childrens has 2 campuses. This secured facility has been great for our son. Although it took a few months to get him in (there is a wait list) it was well worth the wait. The staff are great. My son has improved and is learning so much that we couldn't do on our own. Each child has their own program. Teaching these kids how to better them selves. I would like to point out a Manager Thor who has been a critical person who has helped our son. Thank you for Northwood and the staff who helped our son!

If you are having troubles with your child and you have tried everything, ask your childs Mental Health Physician or County Social Worker about Northwood in Duluth. They are there to help! I highly recommend this program!!!

I was a student there for almost seven years, and would suggest it to anyone having troubles in their families.

This place does kids more harm than good, smashing kids face to a wall or floor hard enough to cause a young girl to have to get stitches across her face. This place was so bad a girl would run away barefoot in winter to escape the abuse inflicted by staff. If you really want to help your child don't send them here get them real help.

I just refound this place online and this on particular site I was located 8 years ago. It was the most fun I've ever had. But things are shaped out great because of this place. In college and I have a girl, I plan on asking to marry her to after my college is done. And my family has ever since been happy.

The building to the right on Google maps view of North woods is the School, when I was there.

DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE. This place is terrible and not meant for children who need help.

My son has been with Northwood for two years and is making tremendous progress. I am very happy with the care and therapy he is receiving. The facility is clean and well kept. The grounds are nice and it is right next to Chester Creek Park where they go on nature walks. The staff is caring and knowledgeable. They also offer parenting seminars which I found to be helpful.

I was here twice. Once from 2014-2015 and another time from 2016 to late 2017. The place is horrible, trust me. This place does more harm than good.

I work here, as a janitor, cleaning bathrooms, and wiping down desks, and tables, and counter tops, and sinks in classrooms. And wet mopping half the main building, and setting up chairs in dining room.

Place is a joke I would love to run in some of the staff the worked there when I was a kid bet that won't throw me around anymore

I was on the bear team 11 year ago and this place was what I needed and it changed my life and it was exciting!

I love the care my child gets here and the feeling of him being safe is very important the staff are amazing and care about your kids and you as a family

This program changed my life and I didn't even realize it
I was a Troubled teenager and went to many places. Northwoods was the one that changed my way of thinking and perspective. I thank you guys for the help and life lessons you have taught me.

I was a resident at northwoods I liked it a lot they had great teachers staff and great therapists. If I could I would go back again but I know I can't because I'm 26 years old now......

Well my name is Chardenay Scroggins I was there for about 8 months an I actually miss being there they made me feel comfortable in my skin an actually listened to my problems I would recommend this place I kinda wish I can go back lol

Great program for all ages, especially whom need some extra help. Different playgrounds available for the kids to enjoy the outside.

My best friend went here when he was young I am very glad of the person he became after being there he is the best guy now thanks you so much I would send my child here any day
