Good driving range though spoiled a bit by the people around me chatting endlessly on trivial stuff and not letting me concentrate. Would have preferred to be able to think about hitting shots just like I was on a golf course.

Indoor skiing without snow! We signed up for beginner snowboarding lessons on the Skiplex machine at Dukes Meadows. It's a great invention - basically a treadmill for skiers that allows you to stay in one spot while practising your turning technique. The instructor has a control for slowing down and speeding up and there are bars to hold onto when you first get started. There are several instructors and I would recommend Louis (Lewis?) as being the best - certainly the most friendly and encouraging. Prices are on the steep side but it's certainly cheaper than a week in the snow and gives you an opportunity to master the basics or, if you're already comfortable, to hone your technique.

Great place for golf. Being new to the game it is the perfect place to start. Great driving range with lots of bays. I find the balls better then the toptracer range. They have a 5 hole course which is great to experience your first on course experience and a high quality pitch and putt 9 home course. Highly recommend.

I am a regular at Dukes Meadow to play golf. Great nine holes to play. Well kept and all year. It takes just over an hour to get round. Good facilities post game. There s a driving range which is good but very busy at weekends. Difficult to get a bay.

Ideal if you want to play some golf but don t have 4 hours to spare. Also hones your short game.

The range is good, the mats are in good condition, and the three different tee heights offer nice flexibility. I have not played on the course, so can not give my opinion, but I ve heard it s great. However, there are three minor More

Rude groundsman

Rude groundsman
First arrived and staff were fantastic... welcoming and friendly. Fantastic course too, for a par 3. However, we get back to the first tee and in a passive aggressive manner the groundsman asks us to play off from the mat (no big issue, not that anyone else was following). We follow this until it comes to the 5th where the mat is absolutely drenched from them just turning the sprinklers on. We decided to play off the rough next to the mat and he comes shouting over to get off. Not willing to hear the reasoning behind it... so unprofessional and very rude. Caused a scene in front of everyone, then proceeded to shout in front of everyone that we hadn t paid (complete fabrication). Absolute joke and ruined what was going to be a very pleasant experience.

Learned to ski and play golf here (not simultaneously!). Excellent facilities including well equipped gym, driving range and course. Staff are excellent; brilliant teachers and really helpful and supportive. Food is top notch too. A lovely place to be.

I have been at this place for a business meeting. Must say I was so surprise to see everything under one roof. They have golf, tennis and ski courts. In house physiotherapist, gym and personal trainer at your aid. Restaurant, cafe and shops are amazing for some quick grab. Must visit for recreational activities

Not only as a good driving range for those living in the centre of London, but also tennis / restaurant and more (free table tennis) for non golfer family. I think the short course is good for beginner kids to learn about golf and its manner.

Great facilities at a low cost and no membership required! Well maintained clay tennis courts and a driving range as well as the golf course. Nice clubhouse available to have a drink at, too.

Great, but difficult public 9 hole course. Unfortunately the staff disinterupt me on the 1st tee but shouting at me half through the swing. This can easily set off a bad round of golf. I recommend next time to let a person swing and then say. Apart from this a this non friendly experience, every enjoyable experience. Easy dress code too: only golf shoes required.
