We love the staff and the wines especially for the value you get. We stop here on our way to and from the coast and always look forward to it. They have several award-winning wines that are reasonably priced.

We visited four wineries this day and Duck Ponds was above and beyond my favorite. The wine was great but ultimately they stood out because of their superlative customer service. Each staff member's knowledge and joy they take in their work made it clear the cellars are well managed. I also liked how everything is done in-house and that each staff member seems to feel ownership in the process. Paul, working the front area, was super friendly and hit just the right balance of entertaining and technical. It was a slow day and he offered to show us the bottling machine. We ran into Trevor in the back who offered to show us the fermenting area. Their generosity convinced me to become a member - something I've resisted after years of visiting wineries in Texas, California, and Oregon. Great work Duck Pond Cellars!

All was amazing... wine, environment, staff... and John was our host with the most. Very informative and hopeful for one of us to join the club as imagine they would be. My malbec was so good, the family bought me a birthday bottle for home... ask about their sister wines for sure. And the tipped off with sparkling Duck Pond was a perfect gift to our party from the venue. Yeah, just go there now.

A little torn. The lady was very nice for the tasting, and the 15 St.Jory Pinot Gris is one of the best whites I've ever had, but the reds were sub par for the area and gave me a headache the likes of which I've never had from any of my days drinking, even in college.

We were there for just a tasting on our fifth anniversary a few weeks back and were made to feel so very welcome despite the busy day they were having. Charles made all of the info about the wines so accessible and easy to understand. Thanks for everything!

I love visiting this winery on a regular basis. The wine is superb and the staff is extremely friendly. I have been a wine club member for the last couple years and have enjoyed the member only events. This is a must visit for those of you touring through the beautiful Willamette Valley vineyards!

Took over 2 hours to do a 5 wine tasting. Tried to give the benefit of doubt, but after having to go and request 3 of the wines we had enough. This was when it was busy and slow. Still had to pretty much demand the last two wines and there was only three couples and 4 servers left. We were there as a couple. They were not over whelmed. The servers comment as we left said it all. Sorry I abandoned you . Not acceptable.

I LOVE this place! My Girlfriend and I decided to stop here on the way back from the coast and what an experience! We did a couple tasting flights with Connie and she was informative and fun to visit with. Fast forward.. We were leaving as they were closing and my car DIED! Did not want to start.. DEAD in the parking lot. Their new vintner Trevor came out a couple times to check on us and invited us back in while waiting for a tow truck, of course we graciously obliged. Let me tell you, Trevor knows his stuff! His knowledge and passion for wine making are equally impressive! We got to taste several barrels and different things that no one else yet (outside of the winery) have been privy to, which added something personal and so special to the entire experience. Connie and Trevor let us stick around until Connie was done with her closing duties, all the while maintaining a hospitable and welcoming demeanor. After that we were welcomed to lounge out on the patio (still waiting for that tow truck) where Connie came out and hung out with us for a little while with a couple pours. A couple times Trevor even came out with a few extra special pours for us to try as well.. Again, about Trevor, people keep your eyes peeled for some amazing wines that this guy is bringing to a competitive table. You'll be MORE than pleasantly surprised.
So did we join the wine club?? How could we not with such a personable crew and their passion for making "Home Run" wines! Thank you guys for making what could have been an otherwise miserable situation extremely fun and memorable.

Recent renovation to the tasting room offers lots of new indoor seating and as well as a contemporary update. Waiting to see what additional changes the new ownership will bring, particularly with respect to the winemaking and future offerings.
