Every time I've come here, the food has been great. They have a good selection of Irish and American food. Once or twice the service was lacking, but overall it's been very positive. Bar service is also very good.

Great food. My wife and I were in town for a night and were looking for a place to relax and enjoy some authentic Irish fare. Dublin Square had the food, drink & atmosphere we were looking for. Will definitely stop back when we are in town next time.

I normally would recommend this place but the waitress who was serving us did very poor. We waited 20 minutes after being seated to have our order taken and she never followed up and asked if we wanted more to drink. When she did finally ask if we wanted the check it took a half an hour to get the check. I have seen this place much busier and do not know how the service would keep up. The food was great, but due to the amount of time it took it was a disappointing drive for a friend's birthday meal.

We had a wonderful experience. The food was great the beer was cold and the outdoor seating was just the right thing. Appetizers were amazing. Will definitely come back. Definitely recommend you check it out also. Our server Jordan was extraordinarily helpful and efficient !

Really enjoyed my meal here. Our waitress, Maggie, was very good, took care of our drinks and meals with no waiting. Pleasant, helpful and quick! I would definitely return. Try the Reuben Rolls. Awesome appetizer! The pan fried walleye was good also.

It is a little steep in price for what you get. It's an excellent atmosphere, but the food is prone to over seasoning and the textures of meat seem to be just ever so slightly off. I wouldn't avoid this place, but I would be hard pressed to call it anything other than average.

Being of Irish descent my father being born and raised in Kilkenny Ireland I love this place the food never disappoints and the staff is always awesome. Plus they pour a perfect Guinness damn near every time. Love coming here.

Dining in, before covid, was decent enough. A buddy and I were trying out burgers in all the restaurants in the downtown area. It is a fairly good, but greasy burger. I liked it, my buddy not so much.
However, the last two deliveries were a complete cluster *%$#%.
Ordered a plain cheese burger and fries, and received, a piece of burnt meat with cheese. No Bun - No Fries. First thought it was a joke. Nope.

The other - not what we ordered, can only guess it was someone else s order.
They did issue me a gift card.

Today, I tried to redeem it. Nope- pick up only.
Walked outside and gave the gift card to the first person I saw on the sidewalk. Hopefully they will have better luck than I did.

For as busy as it was the service was great! The food...amazing! The drinks were top notch and delicious! Wife had 2 Irish Lemonades. I had a apple cider mule. We also had breakfast shots. The food was outstanding. So so good. I had the Dublin trio and my wife had the w a b l t with an angus patty. We shared the banger boats and they were so good! Only reason I gave 4 stars is because on this particular night the music was not good. Pop music. Inside such an Irish themed bar. Not really what I was expecting. Otherwise the atmosphere food and service was really great.

It depends on the day and hour whether the kitchen is going to deliver excellent food or under prepared food. I think they have the best fish fry in La Crosse on a Friday. Try the fish on a Wednesday at lunch time and it won't be the same.

Great food and drinks, with a great patio. Best place to get a pint of Irish beer in La Crosse. I also thin of all the sports bar type places in La Crosse, they have the best options for food. Still does not take American Express.

Picked up food to-go and waited.... Staff were friendly and professional, and atmosphere was relaxing and unique. The corned beef and cabbage was excellent and honestly 1 order could have fed 2 people. But I do have 1 complaint.... I ordered the Irish Stew, and while yes, it tasted absolutely fantastic, the size or portion was about the size of a cup of soup and literally had 2 pieces of meat, 1 carrot, and 1 - i think it was potato but too small to tell. The rest was broth, and for the $11 I was charged, seems like quite the rip off. We also did not receive any salads or bread, which seems a bit odd. I'm pretty sure the meals came with both, but I don't remember.
All that said, I still definitely recommend Dublin Square Irish Pub and Eatery!!!

The service and atmosphere were nice but the food was mediocre at best. The corned beef and cabbage was severely lacking in seasoning, and was drowning in a lake of water sitting in the bottom of the plate. Very unappetizing. Maybe we just came at a bad time but we certainly wouldn't want to eat that again.

This Pub is BEYOND AMAZING!!! My family, and I are new to the area, and this was our first outing in the La Crosse area. We had such an impeccable experience w/the staff here! They went above and beyond and gave us exceptional service! Now they won t be able to get rid of us. Thanks for EVERYTHING!!

When we go out to a restaurant that serves cultural fare I like to try it. We've been here before and I had the Shepard Pie and I liked it. This time I wanted to try the Bangers and mash. It was early and happy hour was on and we sat at a table in the bar because it was empty and quieter than the dining room. Our food came looked good and I'm expecting a good experience. First bite of the Bangers was ok the second was cold really cold. Even though they were browned on the outside. I don't usually send food back because of taste or appearance but I get worried about extremely cold and food safety. I called the waiter and he weakly apologized and took it back. He returned a while later with a plate with the same Bangers and pieces, only this time charred hard not browned charred. They were now hot so I cut off the charred parts and ate the center because I was hungry and my wife was done. No apology from a manager, no discount on our bill for serving cold food, couldn't even pick up my $5 glass of wine. Not coming back again, sorry.

last night was our first time we came to that restaurant. But It is absolutely not the last. We passed a splendid evening with the good service, with the fine dishes and wine and with the modest payment. We will surely come back again.
