Interesting long night. It took two hours from line up to finally get to our seats, which is too long. The performers were amazing and are great singers. The drummer and guitarist are very talented and can tell they have heaps of experience. A little disappointed with the layout as many people had their backs to the stage, when trying to eat and watch at the same time is impossible as the action was happening all behind me. It s a been there done it thing, wouldn t want to go again but Overall was a good night

Once is great. Twice is ok, Three times is disappointing.
As a local I have been to Dracula's several times in the past decade. And I'm pretty sure over that time they have changed the cast and minor parts of the set, but not the songs or music. However, every year they promote their 'new show'. To be fair, the concept, the cast and the sets are generally good, the food has improved and the service is good. But the new show needs to be a 'new show', not recycled stuff we've all seen for years on end. If I'm going back when family comes to visit again, I'm waiting for a review that tells me it's really a new show.

Excellent atmosphere, hilarious show and staff. Wait staff were exceptional. Impressive effort with the volume of guests served. Food was good considering it was alternate drop.

This was an experience. Well worth the price.

What an amazing and energetic experience! From the moment we walked into the gates the staff were enthusiastically in character and never allowed a dull moment. The staff were more than accommodating throughout the night with drinks and meals and the show itself was amazing. Such talented and entertaining performers.

If you want a night of fun, laughter and great entertainment you have to go to Draculas. Honestly it will be one of the best nights out you will have had in a long time. Great for groups of friends or just you and yiyr partner.

Myslef and my partner came here for a night out for us. We receieved dicount tickets through wydhamn resort. We enjoyed the venue, food and entertainment. We knew some of the songs so sung along with them, staff definitly play there part. It was a good show and it was a first we have ever been to a dine in live show like this. Yes i would recommend couples :)

Had a great time a few years ago but didn't love this incarnation ("Terrorbyte") despite a really solid effort from all the staff and performers.

1. The new sound system either sucks or needs serious calibration. Couldn't decode the lyrics to many of the musical bits (along with the rest of our six person party and a few people I chatted with in the line to get out).

2. The seating up the top (VIP apparently, I guess because you're all facing the stage) is hell for tall people. I'm 6' 5" / 195cm and couldn't have my knees straight in front of me.

3. This one is subjective: we all enjoy laughing at some particularly stupid politicians, but a silly speech and some assless chaps is the low hanging fruit of comedy when you're dealing with someone like That Guy who gives comics brilliant material every day, and a cast of performers who can do great stuff. Felt like very safe, mass appeal filler.

4. The opposite extreme: I know it's an edgy comedy cabaret but I think you could tone down some of the racism. You can argue taste on some stuff, but putting on an Indian accent for thirty seconds while you speak to an Indian family, lampooning the Japanese (not to mention the Hiroshima joke...) etc was a bit cringey for me. I'm not a "safe space, how dare you offend anyone!" type - I just thought this was gratuitous and in there purely to show how irreverent and edgy the comedy is, while not actually being at all irreverent or edgy. It wasn't "I'm laughing but I shouldn't be", it was "this feels a lot like actual racism,".

The food was okay by restaurant standards, good by cabaret standards. But (in my humble opinion) the food is pretty irrelevant if you enjoy the show - and this time, I didn't. The performers are talented, everyone there is working hard - they're busy, so you can probably disregard my opinion. But I felt management has made a few missteps on direction and content vs a few years ago.

Edit: the cocktails, however, are amazing. As always.

Got to admit, not usually my scene but everyone suggested it so I pushed us both to go. Brilliant! Just fantastic! They've put so much effort in, staff are awesome, definitely play the role right! Food was nice as well but the performance was spectacular!
I left with the biggest grin, it was hilarious, nothing I've seen anywhere else before :)

Food is great..heard there's lots of acrobatic performance in the show..but the night we came there's only one towards the end. A short one ..asked one of the waitress ..she only said because the girls had spinal injury..so don't know whether we got a full experience

We booked tix for Drax 4 Kids show during the school holidays. In fact, we booked our holiday around this performance. I was informed by my neighbour who was trying to book on our table that the show had been cancelled. When I phoned they offered to rebook on another date or a refund. I asked why it had been cancelled and she (Taylor) replied that it had been cancelled due to low bookings. I find this very unprofessional and frustrating since we booked Drax 4Kids first then our accommodation (non-refundable) at The Star. They said they had tried to contact me numerous times which is not correct. I had one missed call/voice message. I'm sceptical of their explanation, given it's still two weeks until the performance date that I booked and the fact that it is in the middle of the school holidays.

Disappointing ! We have been to the show 5 times before and have recommend the food the show the service to everyone we have spoken to.
But this time something was missing . Firstly the greeting outside which was always such fun only one person in costume then our booking of 9 adults wasnt there after some waiting time they made a spot for us - drink waitress came only once - we asked for drinks said they would be back still waiting - deserts missing to hard to get anyones attention. Show very average . Thought next time we would try melbourne

We had the most amazing experience, the staff were amazing, the food was delicious, the trams made it cheap and easy to get to, the drinks were incredible and the show was spectacular! Couldn't recommend it enough, well worth every cent

We came last year (2018) and loved every minute of it, so took my sister and her family this time (2019) Ghost train was fantastic, food was great, found our waitress not as enthusiastic as the others, pretty average, and hardly there when tried to pay individually at the end which you now have to remain in seats and wait for another 20minutes till they come around to be told 1 credit card only and pretty much you sort it out later. That was very ordinary but saying that had a great time, not sure if I'd do it again next year though.

Went back as we were there a few years ago and it was great. Can t say the same now it was boring and the staff just didn t seem to care or get into it like they used to.
Paying at the end of the night took forever, surely there is a better way to pay for drinks.
Would I go back...sorry but no
Nine pints need to go back to Melbourne. Bring back the old show.

I've been going to Draculas for over ten years now. The show previous was just OK. Took the wife for her birthday to the new show Terrabyte, first of all we went on a Thursday, went VIP ushered thru to seating almost as soon as we walked into area for drinks and finger food. Had 1 drink and 1 meat ball. Ghost train had 1 girl put her hand out at you and say boo. Only half full crowd. Appears that staff reflect that situation with lack lustre attention. Food average not as good as previously. Show terrible had a girl swinging on a metal cube. couple of loud songs. Puppets worse I've seen there. Usually main actors do birthdays and where people are from, contiki tour got a mention. No birthdays. Half the show was playing the video of people on ghost train being scared. Appears main actor went missing for last half of show
Guitar player and drummer was the only postive of show. To sum it up Terrible show and atmosphere.

I remember the shows previous were always top notch and funny. Staff were right into there characters, good food.
With the Melbourne Draculas now closed, it appears the Gold Coast show wont be far behind.

Ansolutely amazing experience with a full package of food, music and live entertainment. Definite recommend the full VIP experience, totally worth it. Kudos to the amazing team of performers, stage manager and team and even the service staff, absolutely nail their jobs

If there was a 0 star thats what i would give it. Food was horrible. I ordered the lamb shank and it waa tough and had no flavour. The cheesecake was more cream than anything else. The entertainment was borderline racist and had no comedic value. Completely overpriced with rude staff. Dont bother. Save your money

Loved it
